[Note: This part is gonna be long, so i have divided it into two parts! Plus some readers were too excited to read and i didn't wanna make them wait more 😆]

Chapter 10.1

"Uhh why don't you take a cab, bro? We were gonna go for jewellery shopping!" Kritika said casually.

Siddharth looks at her and then steals a glance at Roshni. Now since he was there, he wanted to spend some time with her. He scratches the back of his head and says,

"No problem, I don't have any other plans so might well join you guys!"

"Since when do you like to go for shopping?" asked Kritika with a smirk.

"Since I wanna spend time with Bunny" he murmured to himself while staring at Roshni.

She looked everywhere except at them as she was feeling uncomfortable.

"What did you say?" Kritika asked raising her brows.

"Umm... Since I wanna be a good brother and help you out, maybe even buy you something!" he said cheerfully flashing his teeth.

"Are we going or we gonna discuss more on this?" said Roshni as she opened the door of the car.

"Yes let's go!" said an excited Siddharth and rushes to sit beside Roshni in front.

Before he could sit, he notices her glowering at him and realizes that Kritika was with them. He opens the door and turns towards Kritika, "Here you go!" he gestures her to sit.

"Thank you Sid. You are becoming a true gentleman day by day!" she said with a smile as she sat.

"He wishes!" mumbled Roshni under her breath as she ignites the engine of the car.

Siddharth sits at the back seat, a little upset that he could not see her face properly.

"So, did he kiss you?" asked Kritika all of a sudden making Siddharth jump on his seat in astonishment.

"Whaat? Who... told... you?" he stammered hurriedly, before Roshni could respond.

"She did" Kritika pointed out to Roshni.

"Why did you tell her!!" shrieked Siddharth.

"Shorty, just-" started Roshni but he cuts her off again.

"Are you mad? How could you go behind my back n tell her things! What is wrong with you?" he continues his rant, not able to take any of his screaming Roshni screeches the car in a halt. She turns around fiercely and says,

"What is your problem? What's to you if I drunk kissed my ex boyfriend while I was in a relationship last year?" she stresses on her words so that he could understand what Kritika was talking about.

"You kissed whom?" he asks in confusion and then takes few seconds to realize what was happening.

Meanwhile Kritika was enjoying the show; she was trying hard to control her laughter. Now she was sure that it was Roshni whom Siddharth had met on his way. Roshni was glaring at Siddharth and he bites his lips while thinking hard how to cover up his reaction. They kept staring at each other, scared of the embarrassment they will have to face if Kritika came to know about their relationship, trying to find a solution in the others eye. Kritika breaks their eyelock as she speaks,

"So Sid, she cannot share with me her private life but to you? You, who is her...umm... what do you call each other? Haan, mortal enemy?" she smirked.

Roshni turns back again in front in haste and concentrates on driving, escaping the awkward conversation. Siddharth smiles half heartedly at Kritika and says,

"Woh.. actually I was thinking about something else... and you know I had so much of caffeine today its just kicking in..." he takes out his phone from the pocket and pretends that it's an important call excusing himself. Kritika chuckles, grabbing Roshni's attention,

"What's so funny?" she inquires.

"Nothing.. just you two..." Kritika starts when Roshni interrupts,

"Look we have reached! Why don't you go in, I'll park the car and catch up with you!"

Kritika and Siddharth gets down, he was still pretending to talk over the phone.

"I'll just complete this and come in" he mouths to Kritika.

She enters the building, whereas Siddharth waits for Roshni. As Roshni sees him, her pace fastens and she strides towards him in anger.

"Bunny, I was..." he starts but she hits him again and again on his arms.

"Moron! Why can't you think before you speak!! All boys are the same!! Dumb!" she said in exasperation.

"How am I supposed to know what kiss my sister was talking about? Is it my fault that you have kissed half of the guys in the world!" he counteracts making her more furious at his statement.

"And you just couldn't wait to be included in this half!" she smacks him on his chest.

"You're damn right!! I wanted to be included so I could kick the rest out!" he retorted.

"So you are jealous?" she asked with a smile as she played with the collar of his shirt.

"Pich! Jealous of your EX boyfriend whom you... Hey wait a minute... if he was your ex then that means there was one more? How many boyfriends are there in total?" he asked as his eyes open up wide.

"Hmm.. you know what I've never counted!" she said while her forehead creased as she thought.

"Really? I guess it's time to count!" he said as he played with her hair.

"In that case, you should start preparing your list of exes too" she said encircling her hands around his neck.

"So, we are doing this? Making lists?" he asked as he caressed her cheeks.

"Uhha.." she mumbled while leaning onto his touch.

Her phone buzzes and they leave each other, she sees the screen and sighs.

"It's your sister! Let's go in now before she comes out and watches us like this" Roshni drags Siddharth inside.

As they enter the building Siddharth says,

"I'm kinda worried about my heart!"

"Why?"

"You've cheated on your boyfriend before!" he teased.

"So? As of now I don't have one, I can do whatever I want, right?" she winked as she goes towards Kritika.

"Looks like you are gonna get one soon, babe!" he mumbled to himself and walks behind her.

"What were you guys upto now?" asked Kritika as she saw them.

"We...we... were not... together..." stuttered Siddharth as he glanced at Roshni.

"I was parking the car.. donno what he was upto!" said Roshni smoothly with irritation and sits beside Kritika getting engrossed in the jewellery displayed.

While Kritika and Roshni looks at some earrings for themselves, Siddharth fiddles with his phone the entire time disinterested in their shopping.

"Pich! I love both of these! I can't choose!" she sighed looking at the pieces.

"Why do you want to choose? Buy both of them!" he smirked as he played on his phone.

"It's not that I can't afford them, it's just that I don't wanna waste money unnecessarily!" she said to him.

He smiled hearing her genuine words, moments like these made him realize how pure she was from inside. Even though they had their differences while growing up, and at times she wanted to kill him - he was sure of that - but he knew that he had given her such reasons.

At last after a lot of speculation, they select their pieces. Kritika gets an emergency call from her restaurant,

"Guys, I need to leave. Sid pay for my -"

"Yea yea I know" he nods taking out his wallet.

"So, how much for the both?" he asked the shopkeeper.

"Why both? I am paying for my earrings!" said Roshni taking out her wallet.

"Arre, you don't have to..." he said holding her hands, stopping her to take out her wallet.

"Yes I do, why will you pay for my things? Hum aapke hain kaun? " she smirked shaking his hands off.

"Uhh.. I was just shouting out loud in my mind - not that dialogue please!" he laughed hearing her filmy dialogue while she joined him.

Car: Parking lot

"Where is the pink rabbit that was kept at the back of the car?" asked Roshni as she looked at the back.

"Bunny searching for more bunnies, great!" he said.

"Shut up, Shorty!! Where is it? You were sitting at the back? Did you take it?" she asked furiously.

"I donno what you're talking about. Are you by chance planning a bunny attack on this poor guy?" he teased raising his brows.

"Shorty!" she searches frantically for it.

"Hey..hey...hey..." he tries to get hold of her.

"What is it!!!" she screamed.

As she turned, he could see the tears that were welled up in her eyes.

"Hey, relax." he held her by her shoulders.

"You don't know how important it is to me." she whispered and a tear fell down on her cheek.

He wipes it and says, "Baby, please don't cry."

"My dad had given it to me on my 2^nd Birthday!" she said and immediately hugs him to find comfort in his arms. He wraps one hand around her and with the other he takes out the stuffed rabbit that he had hid underneath his seat.

"Oh no! I am dead today!" he thought as he placed it in front so that she could see it.

As soon as her grip on his waist loosens, he understands that she must have seen the rabbit and he rushes his words,

"I am so sorry baby.. I didn't know that... I was just... I am so sorry... please don't be angry!!"

She snatches the toy from his hand and kisses it sighing in relief.

"For a second I thought that this is gone forever, just like that bracelet..."she whispered rubbing her eyes.

"I am really very sorry, Roshni." he said staring in her eyes.

"Please never do it again." she mumbled as she gave a hug to him again.

"What Bracelet?" asked Siddharth.

"Yeah, I lost it. It was another one of the gifts that my dad had given to me." she said recalling how much she cried when she had lost it.

"When did you lose it?" he asked with seriousness.

"Umm.. during the vacations when I was in 5^th standard" she muttered on his chest.

"Oh." he said.

"No. Not again. If she gets to know that it was me who took it, she will never speak to me again. But I can't even not give it back to her - especially now since I know how much it means to her! Shit Shit Shit!! Why god why?! What should I do now?" he thought as he caressed her hair.

[ FLASHBACK :

"Shorty, I have a gift for you!" she said coming towards him

He stops and turns, creasing his forehead as gift and Bunny didn't go hand in hand.

"Give me your hand!" she said happily.

"Why?" he asked.

"Give na, im not gonna bite" she joked.

He stretches his hand in front of her; she takes out a black string and starts tying it on his wrist. He jerks his hand away and says,

"What are you doing? Aaj rakhi hai kya??" he asked.

"Rakhi? Eeeww please who will want a brother like you!" she said in disgust.

"Then what is all this?"

"Today is enemy day!" she responded with a smirk.

"Ohh!! Really?? Here tie tie" he stretches his hand in front of her once again. She ties it, while he notices the bracelet in her other hand.

"Wow! You have an enemy who buys you such pretty presents too?" he asked.

She looks at where he was staring and then says,

"It's none of your business!"

She was done with tying the black string,

"What is that written on it?" he asked as he leaned to touch the bracelet. She keeps her other arm on top of it, hiding it from him. Seeing her possessive attitude for the bracelet he cooks up a wicked plan in his mind.

The next day, her bracelet goes missing. She thinks that she lost it whereas in reality he had stolen it from her room. He had purposely accompanied Kritika there, as it was Sam's birthday party and he was invited too.

"This is my return gift to you, Bunny. Happy Enemy Day to you too!!" he mumbled as he kept it inside his pocket and leaves for home. ]

"You are awfully quiet, and it's making me nervous!" she said snapping him back to the present.

"Uhh... I was just..." he shrugs as he wipes off the sweat from his forehead.

"You still haven't answered my question!" she said.

"Which one?" he asked.

"Why were you shirtless on my bed this morning?"

"I feel comfortable sleeping like that" he said in monotone making her look at him. She notices his anxiousness.

"Why are you so worked up?" she inquired with a hint of worry in her voice.

"Nothing babe.. it's just too hot!" he said with a fake smile plastered on his lips.

"Dude, the A.C is on the least temperature" she pointed it out to him.

He looks at it and then at her, she had stopped the car by then.

"Here don't wipe it with your hands! Take this" she gives him her scarf. He takes it absentmindedly and wipes off his sweat. Suddenly he notices it and his eyes open up wide.

"From where did you get this?" he asked.

"I thought I lost it but Sam had taken it!" she rolled her eyes in annoyance.

"No it was with me!" he retorted.

"With you? How?" she asked.

"You left it in that cottage" he said and then continued "And Kitty took it from me!"

"Why didn't you give it back to me!!" she whined.

"Coz I was angry at you being Bunny and..." his eyes widen up more as his mind races.

"You gave it to Kitty? Oh god that's why she was asking me weird questions! Shorty..." she looked at him as she gulped down.

"Kitty knows."

They say together staring deeply in each other's eye with anxiety.
