I agree with you.It looks like a plan. But I think Sidni are together in it. I watched the episodes from last week and both were worried about their families accepting them. Sid wants to make the other three idiots believe that there isnt a relation between them anymore. He already knows that Rajveer did arranged the attack on Nani. So he need to be sure Roshni is safe. His mother also mentioned many times that she wont accept Roshni, so he definetely needs to do something.
