Part 3
Back at home Sid couldnt believe that Roshni was finally back in his life. His wait was over, he was so happy that he could embrace the whole world. But he felt bad that he couldnt tell his dad that his bahu Roshni, who Raj always loved like his own daughter has returned to him. After six months of silent suffering Sid was able to sleep peaceful this night.
Roshni arrived safely and was awaited by her mum who was worried. "Where have you been this long, Roshni ?", DD asked her. Roshni didnt know what to answer as she didnt want to worry her mum further. "I needed some time for me alone, "Roshni said finally. "Okay I will serve you your dinner", DD said in return and Roshni was relieved that her mum believed her.
After having dinner Roshni went to sleep.She recalled the happenings of the evening and she was missing Sid badly. She was also worried about Yash. She was worried if she would be able to handle the situation but she wanted to support Sid. Sid has done so much for her and he suffered so much due to the outcome of his lies.
The next day both went to their respective work. Roshni was worried how to face Yash. Yash asked about a file and Roshni started to feel awkward. He then asked her about having lunch with him. She hesitated but then agreed. In a free minute she called Sid to tell him about the lunch with Yash.
"Sid I cant do that, I cant lie to Yash. I dont want to hurt him. He has many dreams, what can I do?" Roshni was upset. Sid tried to calm her down
"Meri jaan, I am sorry. You are suffering so much just because you want to help me, " Roshni immediately interrupted him" Thats nothing compared to the suffering you had to bear in the last six months. I will try my best to stay strong. I am feeling much better now."
"Roshni, just a few weeks and we will be together again. And as far as this lunch is considered, just imagine you have a business meeting with him." "Okay, I will try my best. Any news about Rajveer?, Roshni asked.
"No, not really. But I miss you so much.I cant wait till evening to meet you."
"Me too. I have to leave now, I have lots of work to do till we meet each other."
"Okay, But you are really okay with this lunch?", Sid asked worried. "
"Yes, I am. Dont worry. Love you lots", Roshni said to reassure Sid."Love you too."
Sid still felt bad for putting Roshni in this dilemma.
Yash took Roshni to a restaurant for lunch. Roshni was feeling umcomfortable and tried not to come close to Yash. Yash then hold her hand which left Roshni shocked. She immediately pulled her hand away. She wanted to tell him the truth but she thought that Sids sufferings will go in vain.
Later this evening she went to meet Sid who was already impatiently waiting for her. As soon as she saw him, she run into his arms.Both hugged each other tightly and kissed each other passionately. Roshni then told Sid about the lunch with Yash. Sid had to suppress his anger and jealousy. Roshni tried to calm him down. She then asked about Rajveer to divert Sid from his anger.
"I have hired a detective to trace Gafoor. I need him to speak the truth about Rajveer. Do you have any idea how win your mums trust back ?",Sid said.
"We are facing financial problems right now, but I dont think she will accept any help from you."
"I need to win her trust back otherwise Ill have to start from the beginning." Sid and Roshni were clueless how to that. But both didnt want to spoil their evening because of their worries.
Sid and Roshni then drove to a ice cream parlor nearby and wanted to enjoy themselves with their favorite ice cream flavor. After six long months they wanted to spend some quality time with each other.
"One scoop of chocolate for me please and for you meri jaan?", Sid asked Roshni.
"I want vanilla..., no strawberry..., no stracciatella, no...?", Roshni was exited.
Sid bursted out laughing at his wifes childishness.
"Roshni you can take as many scoops as you want", he then said. Roshni who became red turned happy and took three scoops of ice cream with vanilla, stracciatella and strawberry.
Sid and Roshni enjoyed their ice cream and Sid noticed some ice cream on her cheek. He wiped it with his finger leaving Roshni embarrassed. Both ended up kissing each other.
Sid drove Roshni near her home as it was already late. She kissed him and then quickly went inside. Sid drove away.
Roshni who enjoyed her time with Sid was surprised seeing Yash and his sister with her mum.
"Roshni beta, good that you are here, we are discussing about your engagement with Yash. We are planning to do a engagement ceremony the day after tomorrow. Is that okay with you?", DD asked a shocked Roshni.
