In many families actually father's have no time to spend with their children as they have to take care of the familly financially when mother's fulfil that homely and caring part. Here as female protagonist has no father, eventually her mother tried to fulfil her father's role in her life which I think is more necessary to live a happy life (to mention she is not at all left alone, she has other relatives in the same house). In that process DD left her emotional bonding with family somewhere in the past.

DD just doesn't like Sid as she feels that her daughter who has grown up like a princess, now has to live like an ordinary person, she may change when Sid reveals his real identity and status in the society. Usually parents are posessive towars their children and their happiness for which they tend to go to any extent.

I agree and thats the reason Sid will try to fill the gap between roshni n her mom as a daughter roshni is not wrong like every child she needed that attention from her mom which she didnt get so her outburst is fare and also coming to DD m sure there is some story to her past the reason she hates middle class people and yaa any parents would want their daughters to go in a family where she is secured financially

I disagree here...
To an extent of creating a heart-attack drama, and then accusing innocent couple of dowry and setting a place on fire. And ofcourse cheating her daughter by trying to replace the groom.. She is not justified in any case.

Who says that fulfilling responsibilities means that you should shut off your emotional side and let her innocent daughter suffer? The problem is that DD is a failed mother. She could have earned money but she let her ego, her pride and his scheming manipulative and dangerous brain take over her. And i dont think what she has for Roshni is love, but her ego and urge to prove that she is not a bad mother.

well said dear👏👏
It's ok she is not good emotionally, but she should not have the rights to cheat someone and doing randomly fake dramas and playing with other's emotions... that too with her own daughters emotions and feelings😡
First of all, she should know to respect a person irrespective of their status, money and so on. She failed in such basic manners then where come the feelings and love??

I beg to differ here . In my opinion DD is too materialistic. Maybe her over ambition of providing materialistic comforts to her daughter caught on to her more than having an emotional bonding . 😕

Roshni,s dad was driven away by DDherselfcoz he was an idealistic self content man who did not go after riches.
DD is a total control freak who wants every family member to be her lapdog 😡
It is her own ego & selfish attitude which kept her away from her family .

She does not like Sid coz he is posing as a middle class guy , the day she knows the truth that he is a multimillionaire she will change sides & adore Sid just for his riches😛

So poor Sid has too much damage control to do here. 😆 CrushDD,s ego & make her respect every human being & not measure everybody with her wealth yard stick 😛 &change Roshni,s mind set that all rich people are not evil😉

Jamai raja is soon gonna be ghar jamai just to get the mother daughter together😳

Personally I love jamai raja but really in my opinion roshinis reasons for being away from her just don't fly for me. DD is a single mother and the that to in India. India is definitely a male dominated country and for a woman to get established in a mans world is hard and on top of it being single bread winner of a family. It's easy to understand where DD is coming from. But what she did with Sid was wrong though and that is where I feel she is wrong

Sarto I think the way she has been treated by the world has made her rude. We will come to know these reasons as the cvs unravel this package called DD and Sid brings mother and dtr together. That is what I m waiting to see. DD has been thru a lot and what she has been thru is what we will now learn.

Well I think you are right as seen in some episodes DD had to work her way up the ladder in being rich she was middle class at one time in life and she does not want her daughter to go through that hardship...But what she is doing is wrong the way she insults poor people is wrong yes you are far better now than you were in the pass but that does not mean you can insult others who are in the position you were in when you were poor...Yes a mother wants good for her daughter but 8f she just got to know Sid and his family once she would have seen someone who truly loves her daughter and m8ght have agreed to this marriage...Now yes sid is richer he could easily tell this to DD and I bet she will agree to the marr8age right away but that is stooping to her level by proving your worth and she will only agree because of his money and nothing more
