Actor Ravi Dubey ended up with burns on his palms while shooting a stunt sequence for his show Jamai Raja. This happened when the crew was shooting Siddharth (Ravi) and Roshni's (Nia Sharma) sangeet celebrations, when the room suddenly catches fire. Both the actors refused to used body doubles since they thought it would dilute the intensity of the situation, and went on to shoot the scene themselves instead.

In a particular shot when Ravi was supposed to douse the fire on Nia's dupatta, he ended up with blisters on his palm. Ravi said, "The reason we didn't use body doubles was that it would have taken away the intensity of the moment where Siddharth tries his best to save Roshni from the fire. The audience will be hooked to their screens when they see the drama involved around the fire sequence".
