Hey guys! It's Raz here again.
Before I get into the analysis, here's the creation from my side.
First off, I love that scene above. It's perfect in every sense for the beginning of it all and that is mostly because there is no hesitation after that or the girl shying away, there's some light-hearted nok jhok that is a pleasure to watch. This is what's going to lead into the first analysis.
Siddharth Khurana.
Once again, the character of Sid is immediately made different with his entry. Nothing flashy, no high profile car, no crisp tailored suit, nothing special but casual wear and a smile that is highly infectious.
Making him such a character immediately spreads positivity and his immediate clash with DD is just another roller coaster of hilarity with Sid's witty remarks to put DD in place.
What I've liked so far is that the character is extremely grounded considering he's the heir to the Khurana Business Empire and as Taahir (taahir001) pointed out in one of the replies on my posts, his relationship with his father is remarkable. Looking at the Khurana Family you can tell where the light-heartedness comes from in Sid. Both his parents are quite genuine and being a family of three, it's a close-knit family that gives off a more of a homey feel to it.
We've seen throughout these five episodes that Sid's aim throughout the day is to bring smiles to pretty much everyone's face (that includes the viewers too because I don't know about you guys but I'm always smiling throughout his scenes so far). Even if that means annoying the person to their wit's end, he still manages to make them smile (DD not included but I'm sure that day is not far). Roshni for example, yeah she gets agitated with his presence but towards the end of the episode yesterday, she has revealed her name and smiled at him too.
Overall, Sid's character is shaping up real nicely and I admit it may be a bit early to do a character analysis, it'll be great to look back on this post when the show is 100 episodes in and see how the character has evolved.
