The actor recently shot for his serial in a haunted fort in Jaipur
Mohit Malik popularly known as Rahul of Jabb Love Hua was shooting in Jaipur recently. the actor who was there to shoot for Star One's Shh Phir Koi Hai, says there is a certain mystery around the forts that they were shooting at. "It was a story about haunted places and we shooting at the actual locations. That made it an exciting experience," says Mohit. And though Mohit didn't have any scary experience, he says one does get a eerie feeling. "Thankfully, the unit had put lights in the area that we were shooting at. Also, we were told not to venture into certain areas. And I followed the advice that was given to me," he laughs.
The actor is currently back in Jab Love Hua. "I am happy with the way my role has shaped up though I was
not a part of the story for about a month," says Mohit. When asked about the recent reports about actors not being treated properly on the sets, he says, "It did happen to my friends, but I wasn't a part of the unit then."
After playing a positive character, Mohit is now playing a baddie in Betiyaan Apni Ya Paraya Dhan on Star One. "This is an absolutely negative role. The role is that of a spurned lover. I am having a great time playing these roles. With positive character you can only portray certain emotions, but negative characters offer lot of scope," he feels.
In many TV serials what begins as a lead role is later turned into a side track. Does that irritate Mohit? "That's the rule of the game. One can't really complain about it. As long as I am not out of a serial for a long time, I don't mind it. Like Jab Love Hua, for example, I was not doing the show for a month, but that didn't worry me. But had I been out of the show for four-five months, I would have had a reason to worry about," he says.
