With the village Deevri Nadi Ke Teer ka mela assuming horrendous proportions, Raghu and Aanya find it difficult escape the magnetism of their closeness. Devri Nadi Ke Teer has been in the news for a while now due to the annual mela having come to the village. The rustic charm of the akhada, colorful cholis and the tinkling laughter of the chhoris add to the atmosphere. It is here that our protagonists Raghu and Aanya are compelled to acknowledge each other's existence when in reality they would have prayed for the other's short life span! Aanya, the sophisticated city girl, is waiting for her friend Arjun to save her from the country life. She can't come to terms with life without mobile phones and cars. Raghu, a gaon ka chhora at heart can't digest this fact and is averse to Aanya's discomfort.

To add to her woes, Aanya loses a bet with Raghu and is forced to disguise herself in her most hated avtaar—of a gaon ki chhori. It's doomsday when Inspector Bali from the city comes looking for Aanya's family that's hiding in the village and she has to play Raghu's wife to prevent imprisonment!

This unexpected turn of luck makes Raghu decides to harass his newfound wife. He forces her to take part in the Upala (gobar cakes) throwing competition and what follows is disaster! The chaos leaves Inspector Bali with a mouthful of gobar!

Arjun comes in time to save Aanya from losing her mind with the confusion. Peace is restored temporarily and a small party organised to celebrate the departure of the misfits. But this time Arjun creates havoc by mistaking Raghu as the waiter, thereby inviting the latter's wrath, which finds an outlet in a basketball match.

So much for a farewell party! Aanya now has to wait till the results of the match before she can leave. Will the village bumpkin be able to match up for the city sport? The perplexity and highly comic drama unfolds, with more layers of mirth and bedlam, only on Jab Love Hua, 8.30 pm Monday-Thurday on Zee TV.
