And more about Sameer and Ragini's relationship: They are friends, very good friends. This relationship is unlike Aman- Ragini friendship. With Sameer, Ragini is an equal. She doesn't owe him anything. She doesn't feel indebted. Since they worked together on patients (Sameer always asked for Ragini to assist him in surgeries), they spent a lot of time together. And with Sameer's nature, Ragini couldn't help but enjoy his company. He reminded her too much of Nachiket. So, when he proposed, Ragini felt comfortable enough to tell him about Nachiket and how she could never think of anyone else. He is the only one who knows about her story. That is why, when N returned, Ragini stopped all communication with Sameer. Sameer has a boyish charm to him. He keeps on pestering Ragini to go on a dinner with him and he would be his charming self because Ragini told him about Nachiket. Sameer jokes her that she would change her mind and forget about her handsome ex-husband if she gives him a chance. She laughed it off everytime and never agrees to the dinner.

And the wait till night was worth it. When they made love that night, Ragini assured him of her love with her words, her fingers and her lips. He didn't need much assurance to start with, he trusted his wife, but he couldn't miss such a chance of being pampered. And when he started feeling guilty he gave her back more. He took his time in pleasuring her, making her impatient, moan and groan. At one time, Ragini had pulled his hair and jerked his head from her navel and said, "Nachiket, you are going to be in serious trouble if you don't take me now," Nachiket could have laughed but her eyes and the sweat coating her forehead made him lost his sense. She looked ethereal.
They didn't talk about Sameer that night. In the morning, however, Ragini started the conversation herself. "Don't you want to know more about Sameer?" Ragini asked, still under the sheets, her face turned to him.
"No, I trust you," Nachiket replied with a smile, earning a quick peck from his wife.
"You should know one thing then. He hates you," Ragini waited for his reaction but he only raised his eyebrows in confusion. Ragini understood he would need more explanation, "After he proposed and I told him about you. I might not have said good things about you. I was hurt then," Nachiket nodded in understanding. "So, he decided to hate you with me. To give me company, and for me to take out the frustration of missing you" Ragini laughed at the ridiculousness of what she just said.
"I understand," Nachiket kissed her forehead.
"I love you now, but I think he still hates you, with the way he was looking at you yesterday," Ragini was embarrassed.
"He's a great person. Try to like him for me, please?" Ragini had missed Sameer. And she wanted Nachiket to like him. She wanted her friend back in her life.
"Okay. But what do I get in return?" Nachiket removed the blanket from her body and trailed his hands up her bare arms, leaving Goosebumps on her skin.
"Was last night not enough?"

"With a beautiful wife like you, one night is never enough. I sure deserve a lot more, if I have to like your ex-boyfriend, who hates me", he replied playfully,stressing on "Ex-Boyfriend", kissing her bare shoulder. Ragini smacked him on his chest, "He is and was just a friend. And will you please promise me be more decent around him and not behave like you did yesterday, I dont know what he would have thought.."

FB of yesterday: After Ragini had pacified him, with her kisses, she turned around to leave the room. "Ragini, I still have to avenge him for hugging my wife and asking her out in front of me.. I promise I wont bash him, but you should not stop me"

"No way, I am not going to play along with you.." Ragini replied plafully, and started walking towards the door. She was close to the door, when Nachiket stopped her again.

R: Ab kya hua?

N: Akele bahar mat jao

R: Kyun?

N: Main achchi tarah se janta hoon ladkon ko, akeli bahar jaogi, to woh phir se sochega uska chance hai (Nachiket warned with concern in his eyes. Not wanting Ragini to get into any more awkward situations)

"Tum Sameer ko nahi jaante, woh aisa nahi hai", she said with confidence and playful smile, laughing at Nachiket's unnecessary concern and walked out of the room, to prove it.

Sameer was talking to Suhani and Ranbir, when he noticed Ragini walk out of the room, alone. His eyes followed her everywhere she went, while continuing to speak with the kids.

After finishing up with his conversation, he walked towards Ragini, and with serious concern "Ragini, are you happy. Its very rare that people marry their ex's and you had great animosity towards him. I just want to make sure you are happy. If, this marriage was against your wishes, then let me know".

Ragini was kind of surprised hearing that, although she knew that Sameer was genuinely concerned about her and her happiness, all that came to her mind was, "Damn! Nachiket was right again! I should have listened.". She wanted to smile at that thought, but looking at Sameer's face that was full of serious concern and a remote hope, she blurted "I am happy!", avoiding his eyes. Sameer was confused at her reaction and was about to throw more questions at her, when Nachiket rescued her, by calling out her name and signalling her that he wants to show her something. Ragini excused herself, and walked to Nachiket. When she was by his side, He whispered to her, "Now, that you have lost, are you ready to play along?" and he extended his hand for hers. Ragini had no choice, so she gave her hand to his and he held it tight. She knew instantly what Nachiket was thinking and she hated it.

As they continued the tour of the Neurology department with Dr Sameer, Nachiket held her as close to him as possible. He was either holding her hand or put his arm on her shoulder or from time to time even slid his hand around her waist, resting it on the bare stomach. She absolutely hated it when Nachiket got affectionate in public. Luckily for her, the kids were settled in the canteen.

Nachiket was acting overly concerned, like a teenage boy with his new girl friend. He asked her opinion often and almost about everything and all of his sentences ended with honey, sweetheart and darling. Sameer tried to smile, as he struggled control his face turning red in jealously. As Sameer got more and more uncomfortable around them, Nachiket felt happier and accomplished. Ragini was embarassed, she glared at him a couple of times, begging him to stop. She also tried to free herself out of his grip, but in vain, he was too determined this time.

Ragini, felt relieved, as they ended the tour. They bid good bye to Dr Sameer, who was jealous and at the same time sure that Ragini was not very comfortable around her husband. As they walked to the lobby, where their kids waited,

Ragini: "You will have to pay for this Mr Khanna. You know how uncomfortable I get, when you are affectionate in public"

Nachiket: Not tonight Ragini, you have to make up first, by continuing what you started in that room.

Ragini: Only in your dreams..

Nachiket (with a serious tone): Frankly, I felt very scared for a moment when Sameer hugged you so comfortably. Ragini, we as a family, have gotten together after so long, after so many hardships. I get nervous for the smallest thing that could threaten our relationship and our family.

Ragini (stopping and turning to him): Nachiket, I believe, that our love for each other is so strong that nothing can threaten us. And as long as we are together, nothing can take our family away from us.

Nachiket: I cant agree more Ragini..(Then playfully) Can you assure me of that?

Ragini (with a smile): Wait till tonight!
