Di I fully agree with you but seriously? What I didn't appreciate was straight comments of the trps. I mean does TRP seriously speak so much about a show? Sony channel is at fault for such poor marketing. Honestly, I understand that everyone has their own opinion but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

This is so not the right place to express love for #pkhjd. If not in another forum, there should be at least another thread. There is a beautiful story going on here... and we dont want to spoil the mood by bringing in #pkhjd. For what is worth.. I would like to continue the OS and lot leave it with a sad ending.

Ragini gave him what worked best - her silent treatment. Wordlessly yet defiantly, she continued making the bed. This time, she was determined not to fall for his bait and get into another argument that would take them nowhere. From the corner of her eyes, she saw him get up from the bed slowly and walk towards her. She pretended to not see him..

Suddenly, he held her plastered hand gently and scratched off both surnames, hiding them behind a design he drew all around her name. She was disappointed and she could tell that he was too.. letting the marker hover over the plaster for some time, he looked at her and smiled a sad smile.

Problem solved?, he asked, as his other hand cradled her elbow and supported her arm..and then he walked away and asked Sunny tai to make breakfast and let Ragini rest..

Ragini was hurt, she fixed the bed in haste, tears threatening to flow out. She went to freshen up, as to not let anyone notice her state. As Ragini is coming out of the bathroom (with a sad face still unable to shake off what had just happened), Nachiket enters with Aagam and says "Aagam hum dono se kuch kehna chahata tha.."
Ragini worried (must be something serious).. "hum dono se? Kya baat hai beta?
"Mom kuch nahi woh..." (noticing black marker blob on her plaster) "yeh kya hai, itna ganda kisne kia?"
Ragini with disappointment and slight anger "poocho apne papa say. inse kaho har problem ki solution kaat dena nahi hota. 15 saal pehle yehi solution apnaya tha, kuch mila? usse, abhi tak nahi seekha isne kuch.."
Nachiket guaging she was hurt pretty bad, to make her feel better and justify his actions "Arre Ragini, sirf unwanted cheeson ko kata hai.." Aagam completely confused at what his parents were talking.. hears Suhani call and walks out saying he will talk to them later after they are done with their argument.
Nachiket continuing..
"Dekho yahan.." (holding the plaster in his hand and pointing to it) "Khanna ya Patel, it doesnt matter.. toh unko kaat diya.. All that matters and is important to me is "Ragini", dekho kitna sundar phool banaya hai uske liye.." pointing at the design he made around "Ragini" to decorate it. "Ragini ke around sirf phool hone chahiye.. Khanna aur Patel kaanten the. to nikaal diya."

''Baatein karna yoh koi tumse seekhe.'' Ragini smiled at him. ''Kyun, tumhe lagta hai ke mein jhoot bol raha hoon?'' Nachiket sounded rather serious.
''Hmm, jhoot toh nahin...lekin yeh khaali 'Ragini' achhi nahin lagti hai.'' She made a face and shook her head in negative. He looked a bit confused not understanding what she meant.
''Mujhe laga ke tumhe phool pasand hai?''
''Pasand toh hai, lekin kaanta bhi chahiye...kabhi kabhi.'' She said playfully, looking at his face.
Nachiket finally got it. ''Accha...toh yeh baat hai. Chalo phir theek hai.'' He picked up the marker from the table and wrote 'Patel'.
''Yeh kya hai?!'' Ragini asked in confusion. ''Kaanta.'' He said with a smirk on his face. ''Accha, toh ab mein khud ke liye kaanta ban gayi hoon?'' She was clearly irritated now.
Nachiket chuckled at her behavior. She was still the same. ''When did I say tum apne aap ke liye kaanta ho?'' He crossed his arms against his chest. ''Toh phir yeh kya hai?'' She signaled with her eyes at the plaster. He let out a sigh and took a step closer. He brought his face closer to hers and whispered in her ear ''Yeh 'Patel' meri zindagi mein woh kaanta hai joh mein nahin chahta ke woh mujhse kabhi bhi door ho jaye...''
His hot breath send a shiver down her spine and her cheeks turned crimson read. He took a step back and wanted to walk away when her voice stopped him. ''Aur woh kaanta joh mein...''
''Jaanta hoon...'' He interrupted her and turned around. ''Tumhari zindagi mein kaanta woh 'Khanna' joh uss 'Patel' se jura hua hai...''

"Nahi," she said, walking towards him. "Khanna toh woh bela hai joh mujhe meri baachon se jodh deti hai." She brought her hand to his cheek and caressed it. "Kaanta toh tum ho...sharp as a tack," she added with a wink.

Ragini turned to leave when she felt his hand on her wrist, stopping her movements. Her breath hitched in her throat as she felt him approach her. She closed her eyes and inhaled his cologne, felt his warmth on her back. He was as close as he could possibly without touching her.

Nachiket brought his face down, his stubble nearly brushing against her neck. "Matlab baachon ne yeh faisla kar diya hai tumhare liye...Ragini Khanna..." he said, with extra emphasis on the Khanna. His deep voice was enough to make butterflies in her stomach, but the way he said 'Khanna'--that arrogance and possessiveness. She had missed that so much.

She was waiting for him to wrap his arms around her waist, kiss her cheek, nibble on her ear, anything. But he didn't. When she opened her eyes half a minute later, he was by the door.

"Aur haan, tumhara kaanta kitchen ja raha hai, breakfast banane. Agar jaali hui khaana nahi khaana chathi ho, toh aa jao. Waise bhi I have an old habit of turning the temperature up when I'm in the kitchen..." He winked and left, leaving her standing there, her chest heaving and her cheeks bright red.

"What just happened?" she thought to herself
Why was she so affected by him being that close to her? Why did she want him to do more?
"i am ragini patel!" she said aloud "and im a strong women!" she said even more proud."nahi nahi, that doesn't sound right" "i am ragini KHANNA and i am a strong woman!" "that sounds better!" she said poudly and with a huge smile..."i cant be falling into his traps everytime and go weak-kneed" she thought "but those warm dark brown eyes, just look so welcoming! How can i resist? How can anyone resist? And his 2 day old stubble...oh my god"
Without knowing she was blushing and just the thought of him made her smile.
She went to the kitchen and realized the kids werent home, she asked nachiket "bachae kahan hai?"

he was just as surprised as her with the sudden absence of the kids. He was reading a note Ranbir had written for them on behalf of all the kids and gave it to ragini to read. When she was done reading she started laughing and said

"the kids really want us to spend QUALITY time together, thats why they just so happened to go to the mall, when they realized we are both off today ".
He looked at her and said "well i wouldnt mind spending the day with you Mrs. Khanna" once again the emphasis on Khanna. The old ragini overcame her strong side and she was eagerly excited to spend the whole day with nachiket... Her nachiket!!!

Plz continue!...

"Shit!" Ragini exclaimed. Nachiket raised his eye-brows questioningly. Ragini had a rule of not using swear words at home. And this rule was something he agreed with. "Oh come on! Kids are not home."
She took the chair nearest to her and sat. "I was going to start the Diwali cleaning today. I thought the kids would help."
"You still do that?
"What do you mean I still do that? Of course I do it. Everyone does it," she answered his question.
"Everyone has to do it because they don't keep their house clean like you do," Nachiket couldn't believe she didn't know this. "Just look around yourself. Its 9 am in the morning! People's house are a mess at this time. And this house is spotless!"
Ragini looked around. Nachiket was right.
"The house is Ragini clean. I think Ranbir had to do something about it." Nachiket said as he observed the place.
"He's my boy!" Ragini had a proud smile on her face as she looked at Nachiket.
"He was a nightmare in America. He never liked any house help because someone didn't fold his blankets in a particular way or his clothes were not kept at the right place or sometimes there was coffee cup stain on his table. He reminded me so much of you." The smile vanished from both the faces. Their eyes showed the disappointment, the guilt, the sadness and above all, their love for each other. Ragini didn't want to spend the day in sadness, she spoke first, "He was always like me! I think he bullied the others to clean too!" Ragini laughed. "Again, just like you!" He laughed back.
Ragini hit him playfully on the shoulder and went to the kitchen. Nachiket heard the noise of something falling. He rushed to the kitchen. Ragini watched the cleaning liquid's bottles fall to the ground as she tried to hold the cleaning cloth with her other hand.
"Kya kar rahi ho tum? Khud safai karogi?" Nachiket picked up everything from the floor and kept it on the kitchen shelf.
Ragini had a mischievous look on her face, "Nahi. Main nahi karungi. Tum karoge."

''Mein?!'' He asked with disbelief. ''Haan tum. Kyun, mere liye itna bhi nahin karoge?'' Ragini said in the most innocent and sweet way and looked at him with big puppy eyes. This was something Nachiket could not take; she always knew how to make him do things. And especially now with her plaster, he even felt more bad for her because he knew how important these festivals are for her. ''Accha, okay fine.'' He let out a sigh. ''Lekin, mera ek shart hai...''
Now this is something she didn't expect. She was happy that he had agreed but what on earth was his condition. ''You know what, rehne do. Mein khud karloongi.'' She turned around to gather all the stuff together, but he held her by the upper arm and made her turn back. ''Tum nahin suna chahti hoon ke mera shart kya hai?'' Ragin tried to free herself but he didn't let her go. ''Nahin.'' She said firmly. ''Why so serious Ragini.'' His lips forming a smile. ''You never know it might be for your own good...'' He tried to convince her. Ragini's mind told her that his condition would never be for her good but still her heart wanted to know what it was. And before she could make a decision she already herself saying to him to tell her about his condition.
''Yeh huyi nah baat...'' The arrogance in his voice and the smirk on his face made Ragini hate herself at that moment. ''After all this...I want a reward...''

"What reward? Ragini asked cautiously.
"I get my good night's sleep back."
"Matlab?" Ragini asked, not understanding what he meant by good night's sleep.
"Matlab, I get to sleep on the bed, in my vest, with lights switched off." He smiled as if he had uncovered life's biggest mystery.
"Excuse me?" Ragini asked in disbelief.
"C'mon Ragini. And you can remove that hideous overcoat of your nightie too. I know you don't like too many clothes in bed either." He tried to reason.
"Do you have any idea of what you're saying?"
"Ok! Lets talk like adults." He pulls her down on the chair.
"Shall we now?" Ragini couldn't believe her ears. 'Had Nachiket lost his mind?' She thought. No sooner did she think that, an image of Nachiket sleeping beside her on the bed with his bare shoulders, flashed in her mind and a warmth spread over her whole body.
"See, I get cranky if I don't get my sleep," he said to which Ragini smiled, "And I'll get a good night's sleep only on the bed without the restrictions of a night shirt," 'And you by my side,' he added to himself.
"But Nachiket.."
"But what Ragini? And I know you feel exhausted the next day if you don't sleep well. So, lose that over coat thing. I know you hate it as much as I do." Ragini raised her eyebrows to his last words. Nachiket smiled sheepishly in return.
Ragini thought about what Nachiket had proposed. He was right. She hadn't been able to sleep properly ever since they re-married because of the extra layer of clothing. Nachiket wondered if he had gone too far when Ragini didn't speak for a few moments.
"All right," Ragini saw relief spread over Nachiket's face. "But I have one condition"
Now this is not something Nachiket wanted. His face fell instantly. Ragini laughed and continued, "If we are bringing back our old habits, I want to bring back one more," Ragini said to Nachiket's increasing curiosity. "I want you to read me poetry before we sleep"
