She realized the pain he felt and completely understood where he was coming from
"nahi ban na tumhara yeh nakli dost, sirif aur sirif tumhara pati bane hai, ek saath suk aur duk batana chata hu mai"

She hugged him and felt relieved by this 18 year old burden being lifted off her shoulders... All she could say was " i love you nachiket ", he felt so happy after hearing those 4 magic words from the 1 women he ever loved, ragini...no his ragini! And he hugged her back with equal passion and love

After a while he said "and the kids never hear of me crying okay Mrs. Nachiket Khanna? Or else..."
He was trying to change the atmosphere and she knew that and laughed saying "okay ji" playfully

Now that the 2 were officially and mentally married nachiket wanted 1 thing from her and thats what hes been wanting for the past few days but was kind of nervous and that was her homemade halwa!!!
With the most innocent face he said "jaan thoda halwa bana sakti ho plzzz" she happily agreed and was going towards the kitchen very happy how this day turned out and having HER husband back...and she was also happy the kids were gone for now apparently the week! So it would be just the 2 of them she thought blushing!

As she was in the kitchen making him, his favourite halwa, he thought it was time he brought back his old masti tactics that, he always used to do to her . He decided to...(continue plz)

He decided to go watch Ragini, the love of his life prepare his favourite dish for him, just like he used to.. in the old times. He washed his face and was stepping out of the bedroom, when he tried to remember what all had happened in the last 10 minutes. He could barely remember anything. All he could remember was the churn in his stomach, his heart racing, his head haphazardly running in 1000 directions before coming to a complete halt. The emotional storm was too strong for him to grasp anything that was happening. All he could remember was Ragini saying "I love you Nachiket"..

Did Ragini just tell me that or was it one of those dreams again. It was not unusual for him, to have Ragini in his arms and hearing "I love you Nachiket" from her. It was a dream he had every night in the last 18 years, he woke up every night, after hearing those words, only to find his bare hands thirsty for her, his loneliness laughing at him.

"This time was this real? or was I hallucinating, just like everytime? Ragini would never come and say that to me for real, unless I said it. But I dont remember confessing my love to her, I never said I Love you to her".

He was confused, he tried to pinch himself, but no use.. he still cant remember what conversation they had. He decides to find out from Ragini if what he felt had happened was indeed true..

He walks to the kitchen (not sure how to ask).. Ragini is facing the stove on the other side with back to him

N: Ragini...

R: Haan?

N: Ragini, mujhe aise laga ki..

R (playfully.. thinking this might be one of his cute tricks): Kya laga Nachiket?

N: Nai, kuch nahi.. and he tries to walk away

R (surprised) : Kya hua, tum kyon pareshaan lag rahe ho? //She was absolutely not expecting him to be worried after all that had happened...Now, she was nervous

N: Abhi Abhi jo hua, room main woh saab sach tha kya?

R(turning around): Kya matlab?

N: Nahi mujhe yakeen nahi ho raha hai..

R: Yakeen nahi ho raha hai matlab? Tumne jo kaha sab sach tha na? ya phir..

N: Nahi, sab sach tha.. mujh par doubt kyon kar rahi ho? Jo kuch bhi kahan tumne kahan na..

R: Nachiket!! hum dono ne baat kiya..

N: Haan.. pata hai, per asli baat to tum ne ki na

R (blushing.. playfully, she thought this was her Nachiket being silly): Toh tum nakli baat kar rahe the? Mujhe pata hai tum halwe ke liye kisi bhi haad tak jaa sakte ho.

N: Nai..Matlab haan, halwe ke liye kuch bhi kar sakta hoon..

R (playfully, pretending to be surprised): Kya? woh saab? Sirf Halwe ke liye tha?

N(unable to remember): Nai.. Kya saab?

R(playfully): Kya baat hai Mr Khanna, irada badla to nahi na? Aaj kal maine suna hai tum bahot commit, uncommit kar rahe ho.

N (irked): FL2 ko isme lana jaroori hai? Vaise bhi main yahan pareshaan hoon..

R: Kya pareshaani hai?

N (with puppy eyes): Mujhe kuch yaad nahi aaraha hai, hum dono ne kya baat ki.

R(playfully): Yaad nahi aaraha hai, ya yaad karna nahi chahte?

Yeh lo ban gaya halwa!!

N: Ragini, mera halwa bana hai idhar.. Please mujhe batao na, hum ne kya baat kiya..
