Because both characters have their fair share of faults, is what makes then real and likeable too!!
As we go through life, the continuous change in our thoughts and behaviours is what makes us stronger and also build character.
Ragini refuses to see beyond her pretty nose which is frustrating at times, while Nachiket does step back and try to be objective.
The lucky part for him is that he is more personable most of the times and does not get defensive about his actions at the drop of a pin.
Having lived in North America for over a decade now, I too have the same lenient approach to my children and the younger age groups that I interact with.
I feel this has been very rightly shown by the creatives of the show. I have also seen that people back home in India do not always relate to this and see it as a flaw.
The happy part is that the show is finally back on track.
As responsible adults and ardent viewers of the show, we should respect each other's viewpoints and not try to shout the other person down.
Enjoy what the creatives are showing you, after all it is their show.
