This is fiction .. But then .. such things are 'too' common these days .. But marrying is finally your call .. It depends a lot .. on how you want him to be .. and you're ready for a lot of 'compromises' .. Then you can be happy ..

I completely agree with the ADOPTION .. That is definitely the best thing to do .. Adopting someone .. who's never been as fortunate as us .. and giving him/her a better future is virtuous thing to do ..
