This is a speculation based on the promo for tomorrow. Here's what I am hoping will happen after Ragini talks to Aarav:
Rk's Farmhouse: Evening
All she could do was stare at the phone in her hand. The dial tone was a harsh reminder of the mistake she had made for the last one year. Ragini prayed she could take back all the months she had stayed away from her baby boy and show him how much she really missed him every single day. Too bad no-one, not even a heartbroken mother could bring back time. It seemed like ages had passed since he hung up pretending not to know her and she just couldn't bring herself to move from that spot. Suddenly a hand on her shoulder brought her out of her shock and crashing back to reality.
"Ragini, he is just upset. Jab hum usse milenge woh zaroor tumse baat karega" said Dr.Aman
What did it say about their relation that his words did nothing to console her? Right now all she needed was solitude to cry in peace and curse herself for not being as great a mother as she thought she was.
"Sir, mein thodi der akele rehna chahti hoon." saying this, Ragini all but ran to the garden and sat at the swing. Clutching her hands around herself she started weeping and all the memories of her baby Aarav just came flooding in her mind.
Nachiket was standing in his balcony thinking about how he will never meet Ragini again even if it killed him to be away from her. He just couldn't see her being someone else's wife and being away from her seemed like the less painful option. Having dinner with her tonight was, in his mind, the best way to say goodbye and he knew he would cherish that memory for the rest of his life. Just as he was about to turn and go back to his room to finish packing, he saw Ragini rush to the garden and break down in tears. It felt like someone had shot him in the chest and his heart had shattered into a million pieces. Should he go down? Nachiket told himself that she would be better off with her fiance consoling her but he couldn't see her crying and turned around to head towards her.
He stood behind her and softly called out to her "Ragini"
Ragini felt his presence before she felt the consoling hand on her shoulder. Unlike Dr.Aman's support, Nachiket's presence felt just right and with red puffy eyes and tear stained face she turned towards him.
His eyes burned and he couldn't help the rush of tears in his eyes but he willed himself to stay strong for her.
He came and sat down next to her. "I hope yeh swing hum dono ke weight se toot na jaaye. RK hamari jaan khaa jayega"
Ragini let out a short laugh amidst her tears. "Hum pehle bhi ispe saath mein baithe hai. Tab toh nahi toota"
"Haan par tab mein kaafi fit tha." he said laughing. He hoped this pointless conversation helped her lighten up a little and he could talk to her about what was hurting her.
She looked at him and thought to herself "He is still fit as the day I first saw him. But I don't have a right to think of him in that way anymore"
Nachiket took her hand in his and looked her in her eyes "Kya hua Ragini? Tumhe kis baat se itna dard ho raha hai"
She took a deep breath and told him about her entire conversation with Aarav.
Still holding her hand, Nachiket spoke as gently as possible, "Ragini tumne woh kiya jo tumhe sahi laga. Mein samajh sakta hoon tum usse kyun nahi mili. Par tumhe uske dil ka haal bhi toh samajhna chahiye na? Uska dil bhi toota hai. Rone se kuch nahi hoga. Ab tumhare paas ek hi option hai. Usse convince karo ki tum usse nahi bhooli aur aaj bhi utna hi pyaar karti ho"
Ragini looked at him and a moment of silence passed between them, "Hum Aarav ki hi baat kar rahe hai na?"
"Tumhe kya lagta hai Ragini?"
She couldn't say it. She felt like his words were true for both Aarav and himself. She had let down two of the most important men in her life. The thought brought fresh tears to her eyes.
Nachiket gently turned her face towards him and wiped away her tears. "Ragini, I hate tears"
She laughed. He was always so filmy.
Something snapped in her. She just needed the comfort only he could provide and nothing or no-one could ever replace that. As if on instinct they both moved closer to each other and their lips met. The kiss was as sweet as their first kiss many years ago. His hands moved around her waist and held her closer to him. She held on to his collar and she felt like she was finally home. After what seemed like eternity they moved apart. Nachiket had an expression in his eyes that she couldn't describe.
He got up and said "We should go back Ragini. Log hume dhond rahe honge"
She knew exactly who he was talking about.
They walked towards the house in silence and keeping some distance between them that they needed to stay sane.
Nachiket looked at her and said "mein tumhare saath aaunga Aarav se milne. He needs both his parents."
Ragini looked stunned. Did he mean he would be here in 15 days? "But aren't you leaving tomorrow?"
"How could I?" saying that he went to his room leaving Ragini both happy and a little sad that maybe she had decided to move on too quickly.
