Excellent Post .. @poetic .. You've meticulously analyzed all the parts perfectly ..
Now again if Nachiket is coming back to India due to Nishi's problems .. What's new in it ?

I really wonder at times .. Who is the source of NB's inspiration of such characters .. such families .. From which part of India .. or even the World she gets such families to fix her story..

Such fools don't exist in Real World .. forget Reel World ..

It would have been different if within these 9 months N and R both would have thought about why things happened how they did and what part they had to play in it.
This is just like in the 15 years they were separated none wanted to think about their role in the separation, but hate and blame the other. Same is case now, even with a son in jail neither parents have time to think about their part in the mess, but find the easy way out by blaming the other and cutting of ties.

True ..

I wished .. Nachiket to be a bit more sensible .. stay back in India(without her knowledge).. get Aarav out of jail .. and then leave India .. Secretly be in contact with both Nishi and Aarav .. and also help them .. That would have made him an ideal Adarsh Father ..

if he comes back for nishi ..it would make it even more worse given this man cared a dime for the son in a much deeper trouble...rather he stay put in US and let nishi destroy her life...it is quite obvious she has been as affected by this divorce as ranbir...the separation from her father...the fear of a broken marriage, the arrogance ,the blame shifting attitude and the headstrong 18 year olds raging hormones all this is going to lead to doom...she and jignesh were way too young for this ..i do not see any compromise happening...and with her not becoming mother, her in laws especially Baa will life long keep on throwing it along with her broken family at her...i rather she takes this time to rebuild her life ,finish her education ,start working and get independent...

ideally this should have been the story forward...9 months is lot of time to calm down and think rationally...but NB does not believe in mature narration at all..we are hoping too much way beyond her calibre...hence she shows the same thing she did after the first separation...there has been absolutely no growth at all...
