Oh come on guys..
We're being TOO harsh on him alone..
both of them were at fault.. now the story is narrated in such a manner that Nachiket ought to feel almost grateful that she still loves him but he suffered a great deal too after the divorce..

Regarding the Twitter conversation,
these two are so beautiful.. it makes me so sad just reading all this..
the implied dependency, love, sharing.. uff <3

N should not have intervened in between . he should have spoken to R and then said something.
On top he blames her for everything.

That's the problem with his characterization..
he's so reactive! There's no depth

@sukhs ...it is those flashbacks that has made us so wary..before that all of us agreed to both of them being equally at fault...but the way it was shown ..it has left us all shocked...especially when you show that 15 years down the line he is so much in love with her even now but the flashbacks show us something quite opposite...

as you said his character has no depth ..it is reactive..if karan had not told him about ragini being married..he would still be in the US staring out of the window as some random girl would be screaming her love at him from the terrace...😆

SIGH

So true.. I feel so bad for RR .. he really puts it all into Nachiket and for those moments he is on the screen, your mind builds up a credible back story for Nachiket.. something that will make you root for Nachiket - that is the earnestness of RR's emotions..

But the writing is so so shoddy.
Cannot believe this is what they have crafted for him.. pathetic..

exactly education is so important especially for middle class...and unfortunately ragini's both kids fail to see this...nachiket should have told aarav that he will speak to ragini before even thinking about helping him out...but then he has never found it necessary to ever let her know anything..am so mad at him right now😆😆

Of course he has also suffered in the process. No two doubts about it.
But what troubles me most is the way he let the problem swallow him. He didn't fight for Ragini at all. And his kids. He let them just be out there, whatever the reason.
And that's exactly why Aarav and Nishi do not value R. They feel like they can walk all over her, becos their Father sides with them, without considering R's views or opinions.

I don't think they do that because N sides with them..
they do that because they take her for granted and they have that emotional power over her..

N's kids don't..
because he never bonded with them in the first place..
