Hey!! :)
So I just read this

And wow...
How can I even explain how much I enjoyed reading it? Every bit of it.
Now I'm just hoping we get something even remotely-close to this in the show

Btw before I continue, what exactly is Marasim? I googled it, didn't really help though :P

That fb. Brilliantly written.
I was imagining RR and Pallavi throughout!

Keeep writing, seriously.
I don't care how lazy you are 😆
You can't deprive us from such works
As of now, I'm relying on these OS' to calm myself down when the episode itself disappoints me
:P

Seriously loved it!

Great job! (:

Hinal 🤗

Marasim is an urdu word which means Relationship/ Rishta. I came across this word when I chanced upon a ghazal collection by Gulzar and jagjit Singh - titled Marasim. It is an awesome collection.

Here goes a ghazal by Ahmed Faraz, sung by Mehdi Hasan and Runa Laila ... it uses the word Marasim

Ranjish hi sahi dil hi dukhane ke liye aa
Aa fir se mujhe chhod ke jaane ke liye aa
Pahle se marasim naa sahi fir bhi kabhi to
Rasmo rahe duniya hi nibhane ke liye aa
Kuch to mere pindar-e-mohabbat ka bharam rakh
Tu bhi to kabhi mujhko manane ke liye aa
Ik umr se hoon lazzat-e-giriya se bhi mehroom
Aye raahat-e-jaan mujhko rulane ke liye aa

Coming back to the story, I wasn't planning anything big or earth shattering here. It is more like interactions when they are together and alone. They need this to heal, I feel.

As for laziness, I still hate typing. 😆 Let me see when I can update the next part.

Heeey :D

Ohh okay.
Yeah I can't really understand that ghazal. All the hindi I know is from bollywood movies, so this is a bit too deep for me 😆

And I totally agree. They've held on to the past for too long.
They need to heal first, and then only will they be able to move on in the true sense.
And not necessarily move on in their relationship, because I think that would be too haste. But to accept that the past is better forgotten, and to embrace relationships for what they are.
I wish we got to see more bonding between the parents and their children. But let's see

You so lazy 😆
It's okay. My exams are coming up, so I'm not gonna be that active on IF anyway
so I will wait 😉😛

Kis kis ko batayenge judai ka sabab hum

I really don't have the audacity to translate this, so I will just let you know the key meaning. You can fill in 😆. Mistakes are totally unintentional

I don't understand Urdu either, but if a few words are mentioned here and there, I can relate to them., But often these words are so beautiful.

There is grief/ misunderstandings between us, but please to visit to afflict me with further sorrow
Please do visit so that you can forsake/ abandon me again
It's true there is no relation between us now
But please do come to maintain the customs of everyday lives ...
To whom should we unburden the reasons for our separation
Even if you are upset with me, please do come for this time
Please continue this charade, so that I can maintain my self esteem
Yet please do come to reason with me, to prevail upon me
A lifetime bereft of joy and happiness has passed me by
O, Joy of my Life, please do come to make me cry ...

Hope this helps 😳

Oh man, that's beautiful!!!

Thanks for the translation!! Appreciate it :)

It is such a beautiful language. True poetry <3
I love the meaning behind the few ghazals I know, although I'll admit, I don't like listening to them 😆

Regardless, this one is really good and so apt for the situation

Same here, not too fond of ghazals. Like a few of them.
Stumbled upon this now 😆

Glad it made some sense. .

In response to your post in another thread, I think we think so deeply about the Show, the Makers don't. That' the sad part.

Right?
We don't get paid yet we are dishing out better storylines than what they're offering us despite being paid for it
We should suggest Ekta to tell her creatives to read forum stories for inspiration 😆
