What could the gifts be?

Ok, a different kind of discussion.

Now we know that N and R have been separated and divorced for 15 long years. Though we do not know the reason yet, we have another bit of information - that neither of them have been able to move ahead in life, and that they are in love with each other even today, despite everything.

We also know that both R and N have supposedly destroyed everything they had of each other, once they separated.

Now, let us think for a moment, that both of them possesses at least one item/ gift of the other - that they had not destroyed/ thrown away, even after everything. Maybe they have kept that item hidden away from everybody, maybe even away from themselves so that they do not encounter it on a daily basis.

What would those items/ gifts be?

Something that reminds them of their love.
