What could the gifts be?

Ok, a different kind of discussion.

Now we know that N and R have been separated and divorced for 15 long years. Though we do not know the reason yet, we have another bit of information - that neither of them have been able to move ahead in life, and that they are in love with each other even today, despite everything.

We also know that both R and N have supposedly destroyed everything they had of each other, once they separated.

Now, let us think for a moment, that both of them possesses at least one item/ gift of the other - that they had not destroyed/ thrown away, even after everything. Maybe they have kept that item hidden away from everybody, maybe even away from themselves so that they do not encounter it on a daily basis.

What would those items/ gifts be?

Something that reminds them of their love.

The children are a constant reminder enough of love to any couple :)

But of course when we talk about materialistic things then it could be the photographs, a piece of jewellery, diary - something in writing like letters., first movie tickets or something.

i wish ragini has kept nachiket's favorite shirt with her...in a fit of anger she destroyed everything but somehow could not destroy it and with an excuse of giving it away tomorrow ..it still lies with her 15 years later on a hangar in between her clothes in her cup board...she looks at it everyday and there is a buried hope that he will return to claim back atleast his favorite shirt from her ...

and nachiket still holds onto her hair clip..it was her favorite with small ghungroos dangling at the end...it made a sweet noise as she moved around ...he loved to remove it from her hair ..he still kept it in his drawer with a buried hope that she comes back to take it and pin up her hair with it ..so that he could once again remove it from her hair...

OMG

I was just thinking of him keeping all the ties she ever gifted him and Ragini noticing it this one time she has to take something from his room and his suitcase is open/he's packing it for the trip to the US.. 😳
