The first and foremost important thing that she needs to do is to reveal the fake marriage truth.Somehow im seeing this issue becoming a major problem in Nishis marriage .First it was only Neil, followed by aman, her mom, sunny tai,and now Devika.Only kids and Jignesh parents and that grandmom are left. The way Grandmom behaved during the whole engagement ceremony, she is also capable of making this issue a big mess.Ragini can find herself in big trouble in the future.

The whole fake marriage thing was brought up just to blow up big time. 😕
And it's not going to be resolved any time soon. Probably when Nivedita fully engulfs 'Neil' into her scheming ways.

Also, somehow, I find this whole wanting to prove that a man can jhelofy me concept stupid. How does it have any direct bearing on her self respect. I get that she wants to show Nachiket that she remained afloat despite their marriage falling apart but wouldn't any self respecting woman prove it through the life that she built on her own (with or without a man)?

Don't know if I made any sense. But had to rant.

Completely agree TM.

I started watching the show for it's novel concept and Ronit Roy making a comeback on TV. I had great expectations from the star cast and the premise of the show. I should have been forewarned when I realized it is an Ekta show. There is no logic, no sense, no story and only OTT dramatics and all-powerful vamps in her shows and leads have no character.

They have a brilliant story line, but they mess it up with so much nonsense and ridiculous plot lines.

First of all, I never could get my head around the fact that both parents NEVER contacted their other kids for 15 years, based on a stupid deal they made. Especially the mother. Also, fine they didn't contact them, but the whole " mere bacche, tumhare bacche" is so wrong on so many levels. At their age (prob Neil-Ragini being 40-45), one would expect more maturity and a sense of parenthood towards ALL their kids, not just the ones they brought up.

Then, when they meet, instead of behaving like mature adults, we see them behave like 20 year olds, trying to outdo each other with jealousy. Fake marriages and fake relationships with other people, just to boost own ego and put the other person down. Do parents of 5 grown up kids behave like this? I had more expectations from Ragini, because she was shown to be a very steady headed person in the beginning, but in front of Neil, instead of letting him see how she has single handedly raised her kids and been successful, she wants to show him that she can be tolerated by another man, if not Neil. Who the hell does that? Their concern isn't around their kids, it's around each other and their perceptions of the other person.

Pam's hatred for Ragini is one thing, her viciousness towards the other kids is weird. They are ALSO NEil's kids for god's sake. Who behaves like that? Nivedita has also come too early in the story line. This isn't Ekta's teenage love stories, but the whole making each other jealous part is so juvenile and so unfitting for parents of 5 kids who are 40 years old.

The way I envisioned the show was about a divorced couple, meeting after 15 years, and a mature development of an old relationship, due to their kids. Even their divorce I expected to be on grounds of two strong headed people, both egoistic, working couple who fell out because of differences. But 15 years later, being different people, they slowly rekindle their love and relationship, and the interactions of their kids who've lived apart. Truly, the show is butchered already and I have no interest of watching it further, as knowing Ekta, it can only go downhill from here.

@ Bold - That's also how I wanted it to be. That's what I was hoping would be shown. It's too mundane, idiotic and commonplace right now

I made the following post about the kids in another discussion thread:

'Most of the kids are such ungrateful brats. Yaar, your parents have given you everything they could, appreciate them once! The part where Nishi thanks her father and her 'fui' at her engagement ceremony irked me so much. Even a passing mention of her mother would have sufficed. But it was in complete bad taste, her not even thinking about Ragini at that moment.

Also, none of the kids have abandonment issues. God, your parent left you, without bothering to stay in touch or even bothering to see how you are doing (Sorry, some stupid DEAL is no reason not to see your kids), even then these kids are all like 'Need to meet, papa/mom'. I get it, the curiosity of meeting your parent, of knowing what the other half of your gene pool is like. But perhaps showing some angst at being abandoned for a huge chunk of your life is fully justified.'

And about Pam, that lady is weird, plain weird. Is she daft or something that she doesn't realise that Ragini's kids aren't just Ragini's kids? They're Nachiket's too. I doubt she even loves Nachiket's kids because her whole relationship with them is based on one-upping Ragini.

And the bold part is how I thought the show would play out too. Definitely not gonna happen now. Unless these show-runners magically decide to hear their viewers out.🤔

Couldn't have said it better myself. I thought the kids will do something to reunite the parents. But no nothing like that is happening. Secondly Pam is ott with her acting. Her Screaming is giving me a headache. I feel the story is moving slower than the snail's pace. I lost interest. I don't even look forward to it anymore.
