Okay, this is something completely off the top of my mind and I wrote it in like ten minutes. So try and skim over the typos and grammatical errors since I am too lazy to proof read :P

"What are you making such a racket Suhani?" Pam shouted over the din.
"Pam!" Agam and Suhani exclaimed, rushing towards her.
"Aagam spilled his drink all over my laptop!" Suhani gushed, pointing a finger at Agam.
"Oh, don't you point at me missy." Aagam retaliated, hooking his finger in with hers. "She was the one who scared me from behind, making me spill my juice"
"Oh puh-lease. As if I could have predicted that you would behave like a rat went up your pants. You should have been a girl. Wait. I take that back. Boys are the sissy's."
"Pam!" Aagam whined, embarrased at being caught acting like her sister aptly put it- a sissy.
Pam stood their with an amusing look in her eyes. She and Neil were the same, when they weren't so uptight and worn out from the harsh lashings of the world. Carefree and naive.
"Go use Neil's desktop Suhani. You both stop acting like you are five and act your age for godsake. You are about to enter your collage, and it will be very"
"Different from school?" Suhani offered.
"And the college would not tolerate five year old childish acts?" Aagam continued.
"We have heard this speech like five."
"More like ten
"Or twenty."
"Try a hundered times."
"And you know what Pam?" Aagam said, crossing his arms and adjusting his non existent specs.
"We know!" They both screamed in her ears and ran away laughing.

Suhani was still grinning as she fired up the outdated desktop. Pam was right though, to an extent. Her school walls were not going to protect her from the big bad wolfs out in the real world.
She chewed on the apple as she drummed her fingers against the table for the screen to come to life.
But they had enough members in her family that were more than serious. She sometimes wondered what their family would be like without her and Aagam. It would have been more dysfunctional than now. Her dad and Ranbir were way more serious than neccesary. The only time she saw her dad smile was when he was with the children in his hospital. And the only time Ranbir smiled was when he watched spongebob cartoons. Pam would have been completely lost without two micheif mongers to look after. As she said, more dysfunctional.
It was necessary to grow up, but then looking at her family, she knew it was equally important to have a bit of child in you.
She browsed idly through her dad's files not quite wanting to start her project when she her eye caught a file named "personal."
Of course because it was not decent for her to open her dad's personal files, and because it was restricted, she opened it. Inside it were many files that had various dates on it. She clicked on the lastest one.
To Ragini. It read.
Her heart skipped a beat as she glanced at the door to see weather anyone was there.
Remember the day we got married? Hadn't we vowed to see ourselves through sickness and health? Promised we share our happiness and sadness? Live through the thick and thin? I had always figured you would be around to tell me to keep my leg off the table and do not speak whilst eating. When did it all fall apart Ragini? When did I stop bringing you chocochips bavarian chocolate icecream or help you pin up your saree? I miss waking up to your smiling face and elachi vali chai. I miss you pulling my ears when I used to flirt with girls just so I can see you jealous.
I miss your extremely thika mattar paneer.
I miss you in the first baarish. I miss the joy of looking at you while you read. You look so engrossed and in a completely another world.
I miss kissing you Ragini. I miss being in your arms. I miss talking to you.
I heard that you married again. Was it easy for you? Discarding the memories?
Why does my heart simply refuses to believe that you are gone. Refuses to believe that what we had built for sixteen years has vanished in a single day.
I wish I had control over it. My heart..like you did.
But truth to be said, it never was mine to begin with.
Suhani stared at the screen, dumbfounded. It was modified last week.. that must mean..
"Aagaaam." She screamed at top of her lungs.

"Today, Suhani and Aagam made the dinner." Pam said.
"Really?" Neil cocked an eyebrow as he scraped back the chair and sat down.
"Yeah." Aagam said excitedly.
"Okay." Ranbir said, opening the dish. "And what exactly is this supposed to be?" He said pointing to a gunk of brown-green thing. "Looks like poo."
"Haww. Bhai. That is mattar paneer." Suhani exclaimed, trying to look offended. She knew it looked like poo.
"Riiighhht."
"Aagam destroyed it." She said quickly.
"Haww. Jhooti. Dad, she's lying. I just put masalas in it."
"Whatever." Ranbir said, piling the gunk on his plate.
"Oh my god.!" He exclaimed after taking in a bite. "What? Did you empty the whole chilli box in it?" He was fanning his mouth, pouring out water.
"Dad, how can you eat it?"
Neil was quietly chewing down his dinner, not even battling any eyelid.
"Aadat hai mujhe." He said simply, after he completed swallowing. "Thikhe mattar paneer ki."
And quietly took another roti.
