I feel the same because in the prologue Lavanya calls and says are you having second thoughts? So my guess is she was worried he wouldn’t go through and maybe picked up enough to know he still doesn’t want to or like to hurt Khushi and so she maybe sent the pictures to make sure the divorce goes through. Because unless he gets divorced she doesn’t stand a chance in her mind atleast.

The fact that Arnav was comfortable enough to call her La and discuss his intentions about Khushi with her makes it seem he is atleast somewhat emotionally connected. I think that’s what makes it worse for me. Physical infidelity is maybe a little bit better than emotional infidelity because then there is no turning back.

I haven’t got enough time to pen down my thoughts yet but whatever may be the end I would like to see a stronger and a more confident Khushi who will not tolerate any BS from anyone be it her husband or parents or in-laws. I guess the Khushi that Arpita characterized cannot be complete without Arnav so I would like to see her compromise with him strictly on her terms and Arnav has his work cut out for him. Since he wasn’t a weak character as it was shown in the 2005 and 2006 years I think he let success get to him or lost his way somewhere. But I hope he discovers that he really loved Khushi and work really really hard to redeem himself and hope Khushi can even marginally bear his presence (kind of a taste of his own medicine 😐)

I am still holding on to hope that the pictures may not be telling the complete story. Lavanya and Manali are capable of playing dirty. Arnav has been very shitty, but I don't think he would sink low enough to two time the women at the same time or bring Lavanya over to a place he shared with Khushi.

I don't think he has a lot of emotional attachment with Lavanya since he did not feel much when getting out the equation (I am not saying relationship here) with her. He found it very easy to let go of her.

Lavanya and/or Manali might have even said or done something. He hates Manali; there has be some reason for that. When Manali showed up at his office to blackmail him, he asked her if Lavanya knew about it. Now he is all set to destroy both since they dared to attack Khushi.

Lavanya has been constantly begging for his attention but he has been ignoring it since he has already said what he needed to. He is not playing her game any more.

The guilt has been eating into him, he was just too chicken to come clean. He could not be in Khushi's presence or talk or even look at her due to that guilt.

End of the day, he did the most damage to Khushi. But there is hope that he can turn it around.

I have to say that the highlighted part has been the general consensus. Most people have stated that priority is Khushi's well being. And if and if Arnav has any chance in hell whatsoever, it should only be on Khushi's terms. Which is a very fair ask, according to me ❤️

I have noticed how the emotional attachment angle of Lavanya and Arnav has been very important to you guys. That if it's there, it makes his infidelity much worse than what it already is. I think that is a very mature point. That emotional infidelity could sting just as much, even if there isn't a physical aspect to it. That it may just be as serious as crossing the line with a third person physically.

I am hoping against hope that Arnav was low, drunk to do it once but Lavanya picked up it as her opportunity to dig into his personal issues with his wife, (Lavanya is experienced sleeping with married men, give them guilt to continue and insist their marriage was already over etc.) but there is nothing more to it from Arnav's side, though there could have been acquaintance due to working together...

Lavanya wants Arnav desperately so she must be trying everything, listening to his grievances, giving him sympathy and shoulder as a friend since Payal/Akash are busy, subtle hints against Khushi pointing he wouldn't be with her while his wife is never there blah blah blah...

He avoided Khushi because of shame and grave sin he committed and didn't know how to confess...

But again that's just a hope... Once we get the insights about Arnav and La, we will truly know it's worth for Khushi to even reconcile or go her own way in life..

Coder you are forgetting that there was no mention of him calling it quits with L (or am I forgetting something?) He was very very normal and polite while talking to her in the prologue. Its just that after the phone call nothing happened according to his plan, with khushi. Khushi got to know and everything just spiraled out, happened with a jet speed and within 3 days khushi was out of his home and life which put him in a spot because of the control freak that he was.

He thought he will have conversation with khushi, she will scream, accuse, cry and then will take her time to accept and leave the house, then he also planned to take on board both their parents.

So my question is, if everything would have gone according to his plan, would he have behaved the same way with L how he is behaving now?

Or he would have continued the affair or whatever the f* it was with her on one side and on the other, he would have gone with his the whole divorce thing how he planned?

He behaved the way he did with L, because everything went against his plan, khushi not willing to have conversation which didn't him his closure, khushi moving out of the home, declining alimony, moving out of the city and everything else.

Do you think L would have had to beg for his attention otherwise?

Saying all this, one thing i also believe is that the last few months of him avoiding khushi like a plague is because of his guilt.

PujaKrishna, there is no doubt in my mind that La is out of his life now. Was he planning to keep going if she didn't take a dig at Khushi? We don't know. If he was indeed thinking that way, we have a bigger problem. Lets hope it does not come out that way.
