Just curious, how is this slap a surprise? No offense to anyone.

It was obvious he will get slapped or rather severe punishment from Anjali when she was shown everything so openly. A mother's asset is her child and after finding out that the father killed the child. Not a single mother even though she blindly loves her husband, will forgive him so easily.

Khushi's slap was a surprise. Besides us knowing that she will find out about Shyam in Raizada Mansion but definitely, that was a surprise when she found him at the top of the terrace alone to slap him otherwise it was impossible to slap him in front of all.
