Great initiative. Really feel like i am watching the show with someone (i only watched ipkknd last year for the first time). I would have loved to participate in episode analysis when the show was running if i had any idea that i am going to be ipkknd addict.

Scene 2 : The little scene where Khushi indicates that she's leaving is so significant. They made the plan together and although Payal was aware that Khushi was going, informing again before leaving not only makes Khushi appear more responsible but also shows more depth of their bond.

I saw the pearls in the back but I thought that was just me over-noticing things because I knew what was going to happen. 😆

Scene 3 : The Rajkumar chopper scene is classic 😍❤. Modern day Rajkumars don't come on White horses, they come in choppers 🚁

Scene 4 : A typical juxtaposition of scenes where Khushi says money is not everything and Arnav says money is everything. The promos and very beginning episodes had made it clear how opposite they were.

Hai dhup sa vo agar... vo chandni raat si hai..

Side note - I love the scene in their Haldi (during Remarriage) where Arnav is compared to the sun and Khushi is made to wear Goggles. Such a good reference about how they adapted to each other. ❤️

Liked your comment about Shayari and Shayar. 😆Tried Imagining Arnav singing Main shayar to nahi... 😆

(So difficult to even imagine this 😂)

Why shorter? I liked the length and way you have taken it up scene wise. Good analysis and writing ⭐️.

I loved your humour touch in the narration.

Especially the one indicating she was intelligent and did not flunk in any of her classes.

I would say, Khushi is a simple person. For her, mortgaging their sweet shop to fulfil last minute demands from would be in laws did not make sense. How will they survive? What if they make it a habit and demand for more in the future? Her sister was apprehensive and so was she. Their immediate thought was to find out whether the groom Abhishekh knows about it or not. Khushi took off to find out and she did not forget to confide in her best friend Devi Mayya. Taking the shop papers with her was an impulsive decision. Khushi is clumpsy, impulsive, loves her family. She runs into random people and ends up running into troubles. By the end of the chapter, she ended up falling in the hands of the biggest trouble of her life called Arnav Singh Raizada. What she saw dazzled her. What wil she do now?

Cheers....

Thanks Raji

Hehe Khushi invites trouble when there is none and here's landed in the biggest problem

We can add pov of Arnav in Jashn and Rewind too

Let's see the response of fans here on this analysis then we can post that too.

What is Rewind? Is it something different? There has been so much confusion over this - are there additional episodes or just a more edited version of the original IPK?

True that.

I saw the pearls in the back but I thought that was just me over-noticing things because I knew what was going to happen. 😆

I am sure they put this scene precisely based on what they planned.

Yes Promos were awesome. Its only after that promo Arnav telling Khushi Lucknow ka ticket kata lena that I noticed Barun and San. But watched it after the parking lot scene.

Side note - I love the scene in their Haldi (during Remarriage) where Arnav is compared to the sun and Khushi is made to wear Goggles. Such a good reference about how they adapted to each other. ❤️

Haha Khushi adapted to him and Arnav changed for her.

I had actually written that Arnav singing Main Shayar toh Nahi magar e Khushi jab se dekha maine tujhko mujhko Shayari aa gayi. 😂🤣

The way Arnav described the first Rabbave moment in Jashn and Rewind it's like Yeh ASR bol raha ya uske sar par chadha hua pyaar ka bukhaar.

Why shorter? I liked the length and way you have taken it up scene wise. Good analysis and writing ⭐️.

Thanks for the encouragement.

Hi Stuti

I don't know if you are aware Star Plus had brought IPK Rewind in Jan 2019 with Arnav's narration with Arshi love story.

It was only for first 15 or so epi but they basically edited the original and reduced the show to like 109 episodes.

As much as it was lovely to see Arnav narrating but the editing of important Arshi scenes was a put off

That version is also available on Hotstar. Star reruns only the edited version on tv since 2019.

I'd still prefer watching original soothing to eyes and ears.

Khushi and her confidence holds my pride, I love women with confidence and determination. Education just gives a piece of paper, real education reflects from your character and reflects through actions. That where Khushi stands and that is why she was ASR's pride later.

She had something which held ASR's eyes right away when their eyes met,

Nice analysis.

Oh em gee! 😱 And I've never watched it even though I've a TV connection and Hotstar both!! 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Actually, I heard from many people that it was an edited version of IPK where they reduced the episodes with much crisper editing. So I thought it was only a rerun. But knowing that it has Arnav's narration- I'll be watching it now.

What you said about the narrations being too unreal for ASR are making me think I might have read something related to that and passed it off as the writer's thoughts without realizing it was really shown 🙈 that too on Star Plus 😱.

I prefer the original too. That is why didn't give the edited one a try even though I was tempted a little by knowing that the bg music had been changed and amped up (I remember someone trying to search for it to download). Even now, I'll most likely only watch the episodes till Arnav narrates.

For the rest, original IPK it is ❤️

I loved the way you broke up the analysis of Khushi as per the various scenes . Quite engaging. Neat write-up.

Even at such young age, Khushi seems to be a brave woman, and a risk taker. And has her heart in the right place. She understands that dowry is not a good practice, and after discussing with her sister takes the plunge and goes to talk to her would-be-jijaji, believing that he doesn't know about the last minute demand for 20 lakh. Ever an optimist, she seems to believe in the inherent goodness of human nature, and the fact that money can't be everything in life (I'm not a native Hindi speaker and hence had a bit of a struggle with the difficult Hindi words 😆)

I've always quite enjoyed Khushi's monologues, and the way she interacts with Devi Maiyya is just too endearing.

One can't help but take an immediate liking to her innocent, carefree, effervescent, cute-as-a-button personality.

Her scooty ride to Sheesh Mahal is uncomfortable but eventful. I like how she provided an explanation to the flabbergasted family, of her dressing up as princess for the school play. And as the child innocently asked about her "rajkumar", the chopper crosses past them and she looks up, without knowing how significant that moment was to be and how her life is going to change drastically from that point onwards. For her very own prince had arrived, in all his glory, and without both their knowledge.

( I like to believe that in future, they discuss that moment, like Khushi casually going one day, "Oh btw, funny thing, on the day of my jiji's marriage in Lucknow I was riding a scooty to Sheesh Mahal all dressed up for the wedding and had a conversation with a kid on the road about me dressing up for school play as princess and there were questions about the erstwhile prince ji, while a chopper flew past us. Wonder what that was about" and Arnav going, "That was prolly me lol" ... Okay so a girl can only dream 😆)

The way Khushi recited that Shayari in the corridor and eventually landing up in the dressing room of Arnav's show and finally the ramp, ultimately falling into ASR's arms.... If that's not fate, I don't know what is 😆. The universe was giving not-so-subtle signs all along for these fated lovers.

All in all, 1st episode was beautifully shot, and is near perfect, if one can ignore the sound which doesn't seem to be in sync at times :p

But I'm not complaining much. I've watched the episode innumerable times. 🤭😌

P.S. - There's a rewind with ASR's perspective being shown? Why do I not know this? 😪

Star Plus had made special promos of Barun as in Arnav. That they are bringing Iconic Arshi love story back on public demand.

You can see from the promo how much he's changed.

I don't want to kill the joy by narrating it but ASR's girl posted written update on it.

Its tweets had 4K likes sorry to say even current shows at top don't get so many likes and RT.

Star even telecast 2 hrs movies with entire Arshi story. That's uploaded too on Hotstar.
