Also if possible please create a Facebook page & a twitter account dedicated to IPKKND / Arshi related posts on IF (made by members on this IPK forum) - that facebook page & twitter account can share all such posts with the relevant hashtags as it will help to attract the attention of more fans towards these posts on the IPKKND forum here. That can increase the number of LIKES, COMMENTS & VIEWS too! Many new fans of Arshi & IPKKND who are active on twitter & Facebook & Instagram, etc., are not much aware of IF & IPK forum’s activities. This way the forum can draw the attention of those fans / new fans too!

Thank you for this wonderful idea. I had planned to start a social media surge for the 10th anniversary anyway (been discussing this idea with Raji). I know there are many IPK fans even today and they are all just spread out on various platforms so we want to unite them on the 10th anniversary occasion. But what you're suggesting is a good idea, if we start bringing in people from now, we will have a good base for the activities that we are planning for the anniversary next year.

We want people from all platforms - ranging from Wattpad, various Wordpress blogs, and social media like Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to participate and we can keep our IF forum as the central base for coordinating everything and the mainground for all activities.

Thanks again for the suggestion. Let me add a note about wanting volunteers for this as well - one each for the different platforms.

You are absolutely right! Now fans are spread out across different platforms unlike the fans of 2011-12 when so many online platforms were not available or not so popular! In fact let me tell you that I came to know of this sudden ongoing crisis regarding IPK forum from one announcement made by one Arshi FF writer on Wattpad. Since I was following her I came across the links to your posts / posts related to the closure of IPKKND forum!

I missed many things here before when show on air and now wants to take a full part of it

Ah! I'm starting to realize how similar we are. One of the very first questions in my mind once the news of success settled was that what is being considered activity by them and how is it measured? Only when we know the parameters can we know how to sustain them. Unfortunately, I don't have an answer for this currently. We have asked for some clarity on various topics and as soon as there is some response from the mod, I'll update the main post and inform everyone.

Again, about the episode thing that you mentioned, I've already started a thread for that. And for taking up tasks, I've mentioned in that same thread - that we require somone to volunteer for Khushi's character analysis (Savera84 is doing Arnav's character analysis).

The one thing that you mentioned about quizzes, polls and anniversaries has given me a brilliant idea. We can have a weekly fun activity (like there used to be games and everything earlier). So yes, another position open for a volunteer. I think I will need to make a separate post about assigning tasks and open positions for volunteers. We can have a structured team in that manner.

Thanks for taking the initiative. Haha yes similar. Knowing what numbers we need will be helpful. A forum with the most pages that's 10000 purely out of love of the show has to show numbers. The world is all about numbers and emotions are left far behind in the number race. But it's a business so we can understand that they also need something to keep this running.

Lets do this because based on coming here on ff threads I do know some of us our regular and can do our best to keep it active.

I have been tied up a bit but if you can give me some time I can be a volunteer.

I can try the character analysis of Khushi. I am not good with words but I'll try.

Healthy discussions can be so much fun. I have had these with my friends on othet platforms we have laughed over stuff and let our imaginations run wild.

I'll add some more suggestions in the thread which you made for the tasks.

Hello!

As most of you are already aware, the news of IPKKND forum going to be permanently closed had shaken us from our slumber. I use the word slumber because that is what the forum has been representing for the admins - a sleepy inactive place. The news shook us awake and made us scramble around as we tried to protect the forum that has become our virtual home.

We had more than 200 votes in less than 2 days... everyone wanting to pitch in to keep this forum alive. There were many emotional comments ranging from sorrow, despair and hopelessness to anger, frustration and determination as we wondered what to do further.

Some of us had been messaging the moderators and admins to ask them why this was happening, showing them our poll results and threads, trying to ask them to reconsider their decision.

And we have received Some Success.

The admin has kindly granted us a review period where we can increase our activity and if they find it suitable, they will let the forum remain open.

Before you rejoice, let me remind you that this is only a Partial Victory. It is a review period and not a complete reversal of the closure decision. They are willing to reconsider ONLY if we give them enough reason to reconsider things.

So yes, we can celebrate this success but let's do it in a way that helps us get Complete Victory without this sword hanging on our heads.

Let's celebrate by making good posts (apart from FFs), commenting on various threads, liking posts and overall being active on the forum.

In the next post, I'm expanding on what defines good posts and activities that will help us in our mission #SaveIPKforum.

Before going further, I would like to say that this wouldn't have been possible without you all. It is only upon seeing the collective will of so many people that this chance has been given to us. Let's grab this opportunity with both hands and continue being as active and concerned for the forum as we had been in the past two days.

A special thanks to Mysticaldivine, Sarunrabbave and Savera84 for messaging and coordinating details with the moderators and admins. There are many others I would like to thank for spreading the message and helping out but it will become too much of a long list so will not get into that.

And lastly, Thank you to all of you for your prompt response and help. Please keep on supporting - as we require everyone to be around and active.
