How long he will keep behaving hot and cold .. either he marry Khushi or let her go .. Don't keep us in limbo

Why can't ArShi both talk over the matter and find a solution instead of playing this hide and seek and hurting each other?? they both confuse me.. hope Arnav doesn't hurt Khushi now which will push her more far from him..nice update..

CHAPTER 23

Arnav changed his tone:Khushi,listen to me.don't cry.

Khushi pushed him away and stood up.She screamed:I'm not your toy.What is your right on me?I want to go.Let me go...

Arnav :No,until you answer me.Why did you send me the message to forget you?What are you hiding from me?You like me,I know,but you are trying to shrink away.What is the reason?Why your father told that you are going to get married?How can you?

Khushi:I'm not going to marry anyone at the moment.And it is none of your business.

Arnav's voice softened:How can you say that my love?

Khushi couldn't believe her ears:My love?

She was now staring at him.

When she spoke it was not more than a whisper:Love?

Arnav drew her to him and whispered in her ears:Yes,my love.I love you.

She pushed him away and said:You are mad.This is not love.If you love me,you won't hurt me.And how can I trust you?You seem very much interested in your ex girlfriend. She behaves like your wife.

Arnav tried to take her in his arms but she moved away,took a large couch pillow and threw it at him and ran to open the door.He was quick and caught her from behind.He whirled her once and then threw her on the bed.Khushi was now frightened and started to cry.

Arnav shouted:Listen,I'm not going to hurt you.I won't even come near you if that is what you prefer.But listen to what I say.

Khushi sat upright and stared at him.He continued:See,I was in a confusion regarding my life.But I have decided to live,to live a life with you.

She was still staring.Arnav continued softly:I won't have any other woman in my life.You are everything to me Khushi.No one else matters.Khushi sat upright.She was thinking whether she was dreaming or has gone mad?

Arnav:Come on Khushi,let us sort out everything.I intend to settle down in life with you.

She was silent.So he spoke again:Don't you believe me Khushi?Why are you silent?Why do you stare at me?

Khushi got down from the bed and said:I don't know what do you mean.And I don't think that I'm a match for you.And I can't tolerate violence.you have inconsistent behavior and I want to marry a person who loves me and cares me.

Arnav was getting angry.He said:So you say that I don't love you and care you?

Khushi:If you really love me,you won't hurt me.

Arnav slowly drew her to him and said:I won't hurt you ever.Sorry Khushi,I love you,you mean a lot to me.

Khushi :Then why did you become violent?

Arnav:I heard that you are going to get married and all on a sudden got your message to forget you.I was lost.Why did you send me such a message?Something stops you from being close to me?what is it?

They both seated together for the next two hours ,opened their mind and shared all their feelings.Arnav told about his life and Khushi hers.Arnav came to know how her friend was cheated by the man she loved and also about Aditya in the orphanage.

Arnav:Khushi,many things might have happened in our life but this moment onwards none should affect our life.He turned her face to him and kissed her forehead.What I feel for you haven't felt for any one else.

Khushi:But Arnavji,Megha still takes lot of freedom with you.Why?

Arnav:She will always remain my best friend only.What I felt for her once she feels for me now.But it is too late.She has her own life and me my own.I have already discussed the matter with her parents that she is embarrassing me at times .They understood and taking her with them to States.

Khushi then hugged him and kissed his cheeks.

Arnav:Don't check my patience Khushi.I may forget myself.

He stood up and drew her to himself:We belong to each other.You remember the day how by mistake sindoor from my hands fell on your forehead?

Khushi:I always remember.

Arnav:You have already become my wife then onwards.

Khushi:For becoming husband and wife that is not enough.Then she began to explain the rituals,so suddenly Arnav intervened:Khushi are you going to take a class for me?See,I don't believe in rituals.We will make our marriage romantic.Only both of us will be there,we will go to a temple at night and will marry.

Khushi:No,no..no way.I want...

Arnav:Ok,ok,It was a joke.He laughed and then led her to the car and drove off.

He didn't pick up the calls of Anjali .Khushi's mobile was in Arnav's house.She forgot to take it in the midst of the tension.

He dropped her at her home.While reaching home Khushi told her parents that she would continue with the job and not interested in marriage.Her parents decided not to ask her anything for the timebeing.Her parents thought that she was with Anjali and Anjali thought that she had reached home .As Anjali was worried about Arnav she forgot to check whether Khushi reached home.So all were unaware of the union of Arshi.

While reaching home Arnav said sorry to Nani and Anjali and told that he would never behave so.They were very happy .As Arnav was about to break the happy news,his mobile rang.It was Raj's doctor.

Aman and Aakash arrived at Raizada mansion in Delhi after their official work abroad.Actually they reached back one week before the planned date as they got a worried call from Anjali.Anjali came running to Aakash and hugged and cried.

Aakash:Don't cry di,I know what happened.It is fate but I'm worried how bhai is going to take it.

Anjali:The moment he got the news,he went from here and then later sent me a message,not available for few days..if there is anything urgent,text me.

I'm worried Aakash,I want to meet him.

Aman:Don't worry di,we are here know?We couldn't get through him but I think he will be in his bachelors apartment .

Both Aman and Aakash reached his apartment. Aakash opened the apartment with the duplicate key and found a heavily drunk Arnav lying on the couch..It was aftermany years that they found him in that state.He stopped drinking from the time of Raj's accident.

Aman hurried to his side and took him to the bedroom with the help of Aakash.

Aman:I think we will have to wait till he comes to his sense.we can't take him home in this condition.

Next day by afternoon when Arnav came to the living room he could see Aakash and Aman waiting for him.He was too astonished but didn't ask anything.He sat on the couch and there was awkward silence among them.Aman broke the silence:Arnav,let us go home.

Arnav:No,I'm not coming.Before he continued his phone rang.It was Shashigupta.He didn't answer the call.The call came several times but he didn't answer.Then Shashigupta called Aakash.

Shashi:Aakash,Is Arnav with you?I want to meet him.It's urgent.

Aakash:Bhai,Shashi uncle wants to talk to you.

Arnav:Tell him that I would call him back.

Aakash:He says that it is urgent.He says it is regarding Khushi.

Arnav was now tensed .He took the phone from Aakash and spoke:Yes,Mr.Gupta

Arnav roared through the phone:What...?

Both Aman and Aakash almost jumped from their seats.

He hung up the phone and slowly sat back on the couch and closed his eyes.

When Aman started speaking,he stopped him with a gesture of his hand.

Half an hour later they saw him getting dressed up and moving out of the apartment.They followed him.As they reached Raizada mansion they saw Shashigupta and his wife there.

Anjaly ran to him,shook his shoulders and told:Chote,where were you?You know why they are here?Khushi has shocked all of us with a decision.

Arnav looked at Shashigupta and Anjali.Khushi's mother was crying.

Shashi:She wants to marry Raj.

Aman and Aakash asked together:What?

Arnav was standing as though turned to a stone.He was quiet,dangerously quiet.

Nani:What made her take such a decision?

Arnav recalled his meeting with her after getting Raj's doctor's call.
