Trust me when I say the general audience is excited about the show. My friends who loved IPK are like "ohh wow he's coming back...jab shuru ho jaye toh bta dena...I'll watch" and to be on the safer side I told them that SI isn't part of the show and it's a completely new thing and they all are like "its ik...Barun toh h na..great actor...hum dekhnege"

So everyone is excited about the show and it doesn't matter to them who is not there. They are just happy to have their 'once fav' actor back.

I hope Gul, Barun, Shivani are able to live up to the expectations.

Yes even my friends and family are excited for it. Although they are slight doubtful about the couple but are willing to give it a try for Barun 😳

Naamkaran is not going off air any time soon.. they got Gautam Hegde on board and last week it managed to get into top 10 too.. with all the bride swap drama and love story angle... its going to stay there for sometime I think.

Pardes despite being a prime time show has never entered top 10 (though its UK's top show).. plus in SPA Pardes was the only prime time show that did not get a single award. the story has gone for a toss. Arjun I have no clue why but havent been shooting for a while. not sure if its some personal reason or not. I know its Ekta's and it was a high budget show too... DD and AB both are not some small pay actors.

I think there shouldnt be any problem in shifting it to afternoon slot or axing it.

dont think IPK is getting anything other than prime time slot.

so much promotion for a afternoon or evening slot show is not so SP style... and SP wont see if it Ekta's or anyone else's.. if they want to they will shift/axe it

plus its our original slot too.

I am kinda hopeful that we will get our 8 pm slot back. and lets not forget that BA article mentioning that SP is planning to shift some prime time show to make way for new shows.

for ALL that we need a promo and I am sure we will get it tomorrow or day after tomorrow. if 19th June is the date then they will air it from 1st or 2nd June I think.

Oh the answer to this question will change depending on who you ask . anyway long story short Barun was not feeling good health wise so he kept his papers down and makers even shot for his exit, his death sequence in the show. But then SPL 2012 happened in London and barun had massive people cheering on for him at the show. It was a huge success for SP and SP decided it is better to end the show rather than drag it on for namesake without Barun in it so they closed the show off and ran a disclaimer that because Barun left the show for movies we are closing the show. It was unprofessional of SP to do so and because of it Barun had to bear the burnt of the fans for the show closing down.

This is quite a controversial subject so better not go in depth into this. 5 yrs the same shit is happening but people are just not ready to move on. So yes even after IPK3 ends you will have the same questions asked again and again as to why Barun quit IPK1 ?
