Prologue

Arnav Singh Raizada is a well-known singer. He has earned name and fame and has got many fans. Aman is his manager. However, drinking has become his habit after he became famous. The show is about to start. There are many struggling singers looking for an opportunity. They approached Arnav's boss, Viren for an opportunity, but he denied them. Arnav's rival, Sambhav approached his boss and said, "Please give me a chance. I've been struggling to get into this field for the past ten years." Arnav's boss said, "Wait for 10 more years. Practice well and come to me. If I'm alive, I will give you an opportunity." Sambhav fumes. He decides to put Arnav down. Arnav's chance is coming near. Aman and Viren are in search of him. Arnav takes his bottle and drinks. Aman sees him.

Part 1

Aman: What are you doing? Your show has come. The audience is waiting for you. If you don't turn up, it will be a disgrace for us.

Arnav: I will finish this drink and come.

Aman: Fine, come fast.

All are waiting impatiently. The audiences are screaming, "We want Arnav." Suddenly, the lights are off. All are excited to see Arnav on the stage. Arnav begins to sing

At the end of the song, the audience claps for him & ask for his autograph. Arnav's voice gets recorded. His album becomes popular. However, Sambhav & his men throw shoes and glasses on him. Arnav gets wild and beats them up. He goes out of control. Aman stops him with great difficulty and takes him from that place.

Aman: You've got to take it easy. These things are common in small shows.

Arnav: Whatever it is, this will be my last show. I want to work at the place where there is a good environment & a good sportsman spirit.

Aman: I understand. You are a brilliant singer and you can get good offers but it is only because of your drinking habits & behavior, no one wants to work with you. Because of that, you land up in a small place where there is a lot of jealousy. I'm not telling you not to drink but I'm telling you to drink less. You shouldn't be losing your control. I have links with other agencies too. Something will turn up for you but please keep my words in mind.

Arnav: Fine.

Aman & Arnav go to Manohar's office.

Manohar: Well done my boy. You've made it. Your album has gone to many countries. We are getting a lot of offers.

Manohar & Arnav hug each other.

Aman: Whatever has happened, forget it. Shall we have a drink?

Arnav is about to open the bottle.

Aman: We want to hear one more song before the celebration.

Everyone goes near the stage. Arnav sings

Part 2

Everyone comes and takes Arnav's autograph. His name and photo come in newspapers, televisions and the Internet. Arnav gets the offer from the top companies to sing in their concerts, orchestras, and shows. Everyone celebrates his success. Arnav drinks so much that he gets drowsy.

Aman: You've drunk so much. So I will drive the car. If you get caught, you will be behind the bars.

Arnav: Nothing will happen. I can manage.

Aman: You are not even able to stand properly. What are you going to drive? I have told you not to drink, but, you are not able to control yourself. Relax for at least half an hour. Once if the effect reduces, you can drive.

Even after half an hour, Arnav is still drunk. He said, "Now it is late. I need to leave."

Aman: Fine, but be careful. You can use my car.

Arnav takes Aman's car and is on his way.

Khushi is selling vegetables apart from singing in the beer bar. She goes inside to order for more vegetables. Arnav crashes the wheel that has got vegetables. Khushi gets shocked seeing that.

Khushi: Hey, you come out of your car. Can't you see before driving?

Arnav comes out of the car.

Khushi: What are you looking at now? Pick up the vegetables that you've dropped.

Arnav picks up the vegetables and puts it back.

Khushi: There are more vegetables underneath your car.

Arnav goes under his car to pick them. He gets to see the same face as an illusion indicating there is no need to pick them.

Khushi: Let it be. No need. You have caused 85 Rs loss because of the rash driving.

Arnav: Whatever is the loss, I will pay.

Khushi: No need.

Arnav gets into his car and searches for the bar, but all are closed. Khushi gets ready for her work. Arnav is on the way to his place. He sees the bar and stops the car. He hears Khushi singing the song

Arnav gets mesmerized seeing it is the same girl whom he has encountered near the vegetable wheel.

After she is done with the song, Arnav goes to Khushi and said, "You sang my song better than me."

Khushi: Really? I think you are joking.

Arnav: I really mean it. I don't make fun with respect to the melody. I can get opportunities for you at a better place as a singer. There is no need for you to work in this third-rate place and get only Rs.3000/-

Khushi: If I have to work here at least for 2 years. If I leave before that, I will have to pay Rs.25, 000/- as per the bond.

Arnav: Don't worry about money. Whatever is the amount, I will pay. Hereafter, making you a singer is my responsibility. I will see you tomorrow.

The next day, Khushi goes to the bar manager & said, "I am putting down the papers here. I've got a better offer."

Manager: What do you mean? You know very well that you cannot leave before the contract.

His assistant said, "She was fine yesterday. That drunken singer has come & corrupted her mind. What life can he give her? He is living a luxurious life only because of his past income."

Arnav comes to the bar with the cash. He said, "My album is still there & I'm still getting offers. We have shaped up the lives of many singers. I see the talent in this girl. You, people, are only exploiting her."

He takes out the bundle & said, "You people don't deserve to be given the cash in your hands. It has to be thrown in your faces." He throws the bundle on them and drops Khushi to her place.

Arnav: Auditions are going on in my company. Be there on time.

He gives her the visiting card.

Shashi & Garima are surprised to see Khushi.

Garima: How come you are here? If you had informed me, I would have prepared something for you. How come you are here within one month?

Khushi: I have left that place. Arnav has approached me and told me to come for the audition in his company.

Garima: How did you trust him? You hardly know him.

Khushi: He is a well-known singer.

Garima: Fine, you have something now.

Khushi spends time with her family. The next day, she goes to Arnav's company for the audition.

Part 3

All the candidates are waiting for their audition. Khushi is waiting for her turn. Arnav sees her & said, "All the best, Khushi. Don't get nervous." Everyone is done with their auditions. It is now Khushi's turn. She sings the same song in the audition. Manohar gets impressed. He selects some of the candidates. Khushi is one of them.

Manohar: Everything is perfect, but the candidates need some amount of grooming.

Arnav: I'll train them.

He begins his training session for the selected candidates. Khushi learns things very fast. Arnav begins one to one session for everyone. He demonstrates it before them and said, "You need to practice this raaga." It is now Khushi's turn. She is nervous.

Arnav: No need to get nervous. You can sing freely here.

He demonstrates it before Khushi

Khushi: You sing very well. You have got so many cups.

Arnav: You can win more cups than me. We can talk later. You need to focus right now.

Khushi sings. Arnav corrects her & demonstrates it to her again.

Khushi: I can't sing.

Arnav: You can sing. I have taken that responsibility to see that you come up with your career.

Khushi: I'm scared to sing on the stage.

Arnav: Initially, it will be like that. I too had stage fear, but I overcame it. You too can. I have full confidence in you.

Khushi locks herself out of fear. Arnav goes to her & said, "I have full confidence in you that you will perform. Please open the door for my sake if not for yourself. Khushi, I love you."

Khushi opens the door & sings before Arnav.

Arnav: Perfect.

Everyone goes to the studio and give their voice recordings. Manohar's team practices hard and is ready for the singing competition. Khushi gets nominated among the female singers. She has come to the finals. Khushi is in search of Arnav but does not find him. They call Khushi's name. Manohar is also looking for Arnav. He said, "Arnav will come. I will get him. You go to the stage."

Khushi goes to the stage & sings. Manohar finds Arnav drinking outside the studio.

Manohar: The show is going on. Don't you want to see your Khushi singing?

Arnav: I was waiting for her turn.

Manohar: Come, let's go.

Arnav comes to see Khushi singing.

The show is over. All are waiting for the results. The judges declare Khushi as the best singer. Everyone congratulates Khushi.

Arnav: Congratulations Khushi! You have done it.

Arnav & Khushi takes the trophy to her house. Shashi, Garima & Payal are elated.

Garima: I knew that you will definitely top. Thankyou Arnav.

Arnav: You don't have to thank me. Khushi is very much talented. I've only guided her.

Garima: I know that you & Khushi love each other. God bless both of you.

She goes to the kitchen to get snacks for everyone. They have a good time at Khushi's house.

Khushi becomes popular among the female singers. Arnav and Khushi practice for duet singing.

All the beer and bars switch on the T.V to see them singing. They began to comment, "As long as they are single, they are fine. But once they are married, their lives will be entirely different. It will be hard for Khushi to adjust with Arnav because of his drinking habits. He will envy her later and will even beat her up when he is not in his senses. It will be a burden for Khushi to balance between her career and personal life. When Arnav falls sick, she will have to wipe his vomit and have to look after him day and night. Her singing career will go in for a toss."

Arnav overhears this and gets discouraged.

good that u started Aashiqui2 on IF.nice 2 c an update with pics.surprised 2 c mohnish as Aman.since he is a senior actor i never expected him to be Aman.loved arnav supporting khushi n giving her training.y khushi is having stage fear?She has sung in public b4 naa..Khushi locked up herself in d room due 2 fear n arnav telling her to come out atleast 4 his sake n confessing his love was a lovely scene.never expected arnav 2 confess his luv so fast.Khushi singing was nice.glad that she is chosen as the best singer.Garima said she knows that arshi luv each other.but khushi has'nt confessed her yet.i'm waiting 4 her 2 confess her luv.bcz of gossip mongers poor arnav is broken.hope khushi will console him.cant wait for the famous rain coat scene of aashiqui2 n the song

N has even confessed his love for her
Just hope arnav overhearing the conversation decides to try to quit drinking instead of pushing khushi away

WOW!! fantastic start and I must tell u that the selection of cast was mindblowing...Arshi for Aashique 2 leads was the right decision...I think they can justify the characters completely...well written
