Khushi was not ready to accept the post in Delhi.She had no idea that Arnav would be running the firm but she understood that it was because of him that she is transferred to Delhi.She denied the offer and submitted the resignation.Ajay called Arnav and gave the details.

Arnav: Ok..Then ask her for compensation amount.Is there an agreement signed by her?

Ajay:Yes..

Arnav:Do the procedures and ask her for the compensation.

Khushi had no money to give as compensation.So she had to accept the job in Delhi.

Arnav: Ajay,please tell her that the accommodation is arranged by yourself.I'll send you the details of her accommodation .She'll be provided with conveyance also.

Thus Khushi arrived in Delhi after 2 years.She was so reluctant and tensed to be there.She knew that she would meet Arnav but never thought that she is going to work with him.

The car was waiting for her and she was taken straight to her flat.She was so astonished to see a fully furnished posh flat.A doubt occurred in her mind.She saw everything required in a house including kitchen items. She called Ajay and said:Sir,thanks for the fantastic arrangements you've done for me.But I think it costs you lakhs.Why ?

Ajay:All the arrangements were done by your husband and not me and he hung up the phone.

Khushi's doubts were true.

She said to herself:"Whatever he do,I'll never go back to him.The man who didn't trust me is not worth of my love".She loved him,loved him in such a way that she couldn't forget a single moment she spent with him.The heart break was so dreadful that she even thought of ending life a few months back.

She was thinking of the two years she spent abroad.She also thought the way she reached there and about completing her studies.How she yearned for him day and night.

She decided to join the office next day.She followed the address given by Ajay.She reached the office and asked for the manager.She was taken to manager's cabin.He told that it was a new branch ,opened a few weeks back and asked her to assist the CEO wherever possible.

He told that CEO will come only after a few days.She started her work. it was almost one week.She didn't see Arnav anywhere.She was working in a normal way and one day the manager told her that CEO wants her to report in the conference hall in the evening .She asked him who all will be present in the conference? He told that all the managing committee members will be there.

Khushi:But I want to meet CEO before the conference.I want to clarify certain matters.

Manager:Whatever doubt you have,I can clarify it.

She felt disturbed for no reason.

It was 6.00 pm.She reached the office and proceeded to the conference hall with the manager and the other committee members.They all waited for the CEO. The door of the conference room was opened and Khushi looked at the person entering the room.Her heart missed a beat. She was staring at the figure moving to the table.

There was total silence.Khushi thought:So all these are planned by him to get me back.I'll teach him a lesson.

He asked everyone to be seated. He didn't look at her.He asked all to introduce themselves.Most of them were from outside Delhi.He asked them to give details of their family. Khushi was shivering with embarrassment and she was so uneasy.Her turn came. Everyone was looking at her.His face was expressionless.

Khushi:Good evening to all...I'm Khushi.

Arnav:Surname?

Khushi: Khushi ...Khushi Kumari Gupta

Arnav:Marital status

Khushi: Ma..Married.

Arnav: Spouse?

Khushi:She kept quiet.She wanted to strangle him.

Khushi stared at him and said:We're separated.

Arnav:Oh?I'm sorry.

Khushi could not concentrate in what was going on.She startled when he heard his voice.

Arnav: Mrs.Khushi will be my secretary and will accompany me in all my business trips.

Khushi decided to quit the job..She waited till all the guests leave the place.She wanted to meet him alone.She told the manager that she wanted to meet CEO.

Manager went and asked Arnav and came back.

Manager:You can go inside and meet him.

She opened the door with shivering hands.

He was typing in the laptop.

She stood in front of him.He didn't look up.

Khushi was too embarrassed.

Khushi:Excuse me,I want to talk to you.

Arnav looked up.She couldn't meet his gaze.

Arnav:Yes?

Khushi:Here is my resignation letter.I quit my job.

Arnav:Ok,I will accept if you give me one lakh as compensation.

I've all the papers ready.In case if you don't give the money,I'll take legal action.

Khushi:You are doing it on purpose know?

Arnav was still looking in his laptop:You have a choice,either go back to your husband who loves you more than his life or give 1 lakh and quit.

Khushi had tears in her eyes: Loves more than his life?Don't you have shame to say this to me?

Arnav:No...I told you the truth.

Khushi:Whatever you try,however you try,It won't happen.

Arnav stood up.

Arnav came very near to him. She shuddered .She clutched the chair.

He said:I was searching for you for the past two years.Where were you?You know how desperate I'm?I m sorry for everything I've done.

Khushi looked at him,stood there for a moment and said:How easily you said all these to me now? Do you remember the day you said good bye to me? Do you remember your words?

Arnav moved nearer but Khushi moved away from him.

Khushi:Don't even try to come near me.I don't want to repeat the drama.

She left the room with tears in her eyes.

Arnav said to himself: Just a few weeks more, I'll make you mine again.

Khushi had no option. She came to the office the next day. He was in his cabin.She was called to his cabin.

Arnav: Note down your duties.Trips with CEO,lunch and dinner with CEO,managing all the clients of CEO,scheduling the meetings...be with the CEO.

Khushi s anger had no limits.Khushi:Are these the duties of a secretary?

Arnav: Yeah..You are well paid. Khushi. .we'll go home .All are waiting for you.I was waiting all these days for you.You may not believe but all my family members including Aman are keeping aloof to me.They love you.

Khushi:when shall I start my duties?

Arnav came nearer and whispered in her ear:You mean duties of a wife or secretary?

Khushi:I'm your employee now.

Arnav laughed and said:We'll start with a lunch.

She had to go with him.It was after 2 years that she was sitting beside him in a car and also having food.He ordered her favourite dishes.She said:My taste has changed and ordered certain other items.

One week was over.Khushi was always in his cabin and accompanying him outside the office. She resisted all his advances .Her colleagues began to gossip about them.Even the manager was wondering about their relationship .

One day as Khushi went to the canteen she heard they talk ill about them.

She went to his cabin and said:Do you hear what your staff say?That we have illicit relation.

Arnav:Let them..We're husband and wife..so anyway it is not affecting us adversely.

Khushi:It'll affect me.Khushi

Arnav:How?Do you have any other interests?any boyfriend?

Khushi:You...She raised her hand to slap him

Arnav caught hold of her hand and laughed: My little tigress..you are mine..come back to me.

Aman who was abroad called Arnav: Arnav.. is Khushi back home?I heard so.

Arnav:Yeah..She is working in our new firm.

Aman:Ha..ha...and you may be trying to woo her.

Arnav:She is stubborn..no way

Aman:Good..she is a lady with self respect.And your chances are rare.

Arnav:Is it for this purpose you called me now?

Aman:Of course,to say that you will fail in your mission.

Arnav:Arnav gets what he wants.

Aman:But this..you won't.You don't deserve her ...you sadistic monster.

Arnav :Just one month...she will be back to my life.

Aman:A beautiful dream

Arnav:You bet?

Aman:I bet.

Arnav was thinking of the make over of Khushi.She was wearing modern dresses with an ease and elegance.She looked extremely beautiful eventhough a little pale.The smile had gone from her face.He highly repented for what he has done and was in a confusion of how to bring her back to his life.

The whole Raizada family came to meet her. Nani,Anjali,Aakash,Shwetha.Khushi gave them a warm welcome.It was a happy get together.

Nani:Beti,please come home.

Khushi:Not now Nani,he should really realize his mistake.

Anjali: He repents a lot Khushi.He was totally broken and he never even mingled with any other women.

Khushi:I know Di but I don't want to be hurt again.

They left after some time and Khushi promised that she would be in constant touch with them.

The next day Arnav told her in the office: Khushi,It's high time we start our family.I know that it's your ego that doesn't allow you to accept me again.But for me,you are my life.I want to spend my life with you,with you only.

He moved nearer and said:Today,we'll go to my resort.I want to spend my time with you.

Khushi:So you lust on me know?

Arnav shouted:Khushi...if I want to shed my frustration I would get thousands of women,I want you,you only.

Khushi:But I don't want you.

Arnav:Then whom do you want?

They stared at each other.She left without a comment.

The next day the manager asked Khushi to co-ordinate the software updation of the firm. Two newly appointed young men were introduced to her. One was Nakul and the other was Akshay.They were IT experts.Nakul was so attracted to Khushi at first sight itself.Akshay was an easy going guy.He was witty and friendly.Nakul was handsome and reserved.The three became friends very easily.

When Arnav came ,he couldn't find Khushi anywhere.He asked the manager and he told that she is in the IT room along with the new IT staff..He just went there to see their work.He opened the door and saw Khushi sitting infront of a computer and Nakul standing very near showing her the details in the PC.Akshay was sitting beside her.He couldn't control his anger.He went back to his cabin and asked the manager to inform khushi to report in his cabin.

She opened the door and went inside.She saw Arnav fuming with anger,his eyes red in colour.The manager was also called to the cabin.

Arnav gritted his teeth and asked:What is your post here?

Khushi:Sec..secretary.

Then he shouted at the top of his voice:Then what are you doing in IT department?

Khushi was shaken by the effect of his voice.She shuddered.She was insulted in front of the manager.

Arnav:Where are my files?

Khushi tried to compose herself and answered boldly:I'm your secretary not your slave.

Arnav stared at her.The manager quickly got out.

Arnav:You are my wife and behave like one.Otherwise I'll make you do so.

Khushi:Still the stubbornness.How dare you?

Arnav:Is the file for the meeting ready?

Khushi:will be ready only after sometime.

He pressed the bell violently. The attender came and he asked for the manager.

Manager came sweating with fear.

Arnav:Please ask Ms.Gouri,the new office assistant to get the files ready for the meeting.Mrs.Khushi is given half day suspension for not doing the work on time.

The manager left.

Khushi threw the pen holder at him and was fuming with insult and anger: Whatever you do,I won't quit the job.

Arnav shouted:Get out.

Khushi was trying to control her tears and went out.Arnav wanted to take her in his hands.

He wanted to make her quit the job and she knew it.He didn't like her sitting with those young guys because he didn't like the way they were looking at her.

The job was very much required.So she decided to face any insult or suffering.

She got the first salary.She cried a lot that night.She received her salary from her husband.He is nearby but a stranger.What a fate?

The next day he received a letter from Khushi asking for 2 days leave. He replied that" granted with loss of pay".She couldn't control her tears.

Arnav assumed that she would come to office.But she didn't come for 5 days.He got an application for extension of leave stating that her mother is not well.

Arnav parked the car and saw Khushi and Varun coming out of the restaurant.She went with Varun in his car. Arnav could not believe himself.He couldn't sleep .
