Aman reluctantly went with Arnav.He was hesitant to meet Anjali because she didn't answer any of his phone calls or messages.Aman was more than surprised to see his family in Arnav's house.

Aman;Why Mamma ,you didn't inform me.

Amma:You are doing certain things without informing us.So we decided to give you a surprise.

Aman:What do you mean?

Arnav:Let him fresh up and come.

When Aman came back to the living room,Arnav brought Anjali there.Khushi was watching wide eyed.Nani was also wondering .

Arnav :I'm going to fix the marriage of Di.So I wanted the presence of you and your family.Pandit ji will come tomorrow and the marriage will take place as early as possible.

Aman's face went pale.

Arnav:Di...please give dinner to Aman.He has not eaten anything in the evening.

Anjali:What about you?

Arnav:I'll come within a few minutes.Khushi and me will have it together.He winked at Khushi.

Anjali was serving food.Aman caught hold of her hand and asked: Why didn't you answer my calls?Whom are you going to marry?

Anjali:I don't know.

Aman:What?

Anjali:Chote didn't tell me anything.

Aman:I'm going home.I cannot bear this.

Anjali:Please don't go.

Aman:Hmmm?why?

Anjali kept quiet.There were tears in her eyes.

Aman tried to go back to his flat but Arnav didn't allow him.The next day panditji came and he started to look into the details.He asked for the name and details of boy and girl.

Arnav:The girl is my sister Anjali Singh Raizada and the boy is Aman Pratap Singh

Aman :Arnav...me?

Arnav signed him to keep quiet.Anjali also was so astonished that she was looking wide eyed at her brother.

All others were aware of what was going to happen.Aakash hugged Aman.

The date of engagement and marriage was fixed .Aman hugged Arnav and cried.

Arnav: My di won't get a better husband than you.She is the luckiest woman in the world.Di...you are lucky..he didn't have a girlfriend. He is a one woman man..

Aman:I thought that you'll be furious..I mean agewise I...

Arnav cut his words:Age is not an obstacle for love.

Everyone was too surprised to hear his words.They looked at Khushi.

Khushi looked at Arnav in a meaningful way.Arnav saw it.

Aman: Arnav..can I take her for outing today?

Arnav: Not today.We've a lot of work pending in office.You can take her on Sunday.

Khushi:Oh..Arnavji..that's cruel.

Arnav: Myself and Aman will be busy at office and we'll be away from home for the coming few days.And Pappa's friend Mr.Mishra is coming for the grand show.His family also will be with us.We'll have a get together.He is coming after so many years.

Nani looked uncomfortable when she heard this news.

Arnav:I want his presence for a few days as I've to find out about ..he gritted his teeth and said...that treacherous Shashi .

Nani:No..Arnav ..now we're happy.Please don't spoil it.

Arnav:Happy?I'm searching for him all these years...I want to see that he and his family suffer the worst..

Khushi was going to faint.She clutched the sofa .Arnav was quick.He caught her and laid her on the sofa.Anjali brought water.

Arnav:Khushi..Khushi..what happened?

Khushi:Nothing Arnavji...I feel tired.

He took her to the room and laid her on the bed.She was taken care by Nani and Anjali and half heartedly he went to office.

Aman's family left the next day.

Anjali and Aman's engagement was a grand function.Almost all the VIPs were invited.Mr.Mehta and his family were there for two days to help them.Shwetha got time to spend with Aakash and both families decided to conduct their engagement .Vivek and his wife were there .Vivek's wife helped him in his business.Mehta and Arnav were business associates in Arnav's foreign branches.At home both of them had their separate areas.Vivek was running his own business.Arnav had construction companies apart from Fashion world.He was now expanding his business to engineering field as Aakash was a graduate in the field along with MBA.But Arnav's prestigious business was in the fashion Industry.For the past three years he won all the shows with spectacular,unique designs.Arnav invited Varun also to the function.To every one's surprise ha came with his family and fiancee.Khushi was very happy to see him.It was Mehta who took the initiative for it.He told Arnav that he should be diplomatic in maintaining business relations.

The day of the show was nearby. Mishra arrived with his family.Khushi was restless.As Arnav was busy he didn't get much time to spend with her.Mishra met Khushi.He was looking at her in a peculiar way.

Mishra:I think I have met you befor.

Khushi:How can you uncle?I heard that you were abroad for many years.

Mishra:You resemble someone I know.

Khushi was now at the verge of crying aloud.

He asked her abour her family.One day Garima came to meet Khushi.

Mishra was sitting in the living room .

Both of them stared at each other.They could not believe what was happening. Garima at once left the place.

Khushi:Amma,whay are leaving at once?

Nani:yes,Garima ji,why?

Garima:I..I came to a shop nearby.So just came here to meet you.Bye

They were confused .

Mishra was very disturbed throughout the day.He was thinking:What a fate?Arnav married his enemy's daughter.How can I disclose the truth?

Mishra met Garima.

Part 14

The fashion show started.There were 5 slots.Arnav got the 4^th slot to exhibit his designs.While the first slot was going on someone came and whispered something in his ear.Khushi was sitting near by.Anjaly,Aman,Aakash,Mehta and his family were sitting nearby.She couldn't hear anything.He went with the person.An unknown fear began to grip her.Aman got a call from Arnav and he left.

Next came the announcement:-

There is a correction in the time slot.The second slot is of RR fashions instead of 4^th slot.There was a murmur among the audience.

Arnav and Aman came back to their seats.The show started.It was a fantastic collection of designs .The whole audience gave thunderous applause.Varun was sitting thunderstruck.The 3^rd slot was of Varun's firm. Everyone gasped to see the same designs and same style.

After the show Varun came forward and toid Khushi:So you were cheating me for the second time.

Khushi couldn't understand anything.She asked:What nonsense do you talk?I don't get you.

Varun:I got the USB sent by you giving me the tips for designs.

Arnav was dangerously silent.

Khushi:Arnavji,I don't know anything.

Arnav:Varun.go back to your seat.His tone was dangerous.

Arnav's family and Aman were fuming with fury.

The results declared and RR won again.

Arnav didn't talk to anyone.He left with Aman to a room where the organizer of the show was at the guns by Arnav's securities.

Arnav:I'm sorry,Mr,Biswas,I had to do this.It was inevitable.My designs were stolen by Varun's people.So I think it was my right to get a slot earlier than him.And thankyou for changing the time slot.Everyone is looking for you at the back stage.Not a single word of what happened..ok?Money will reach your home this evening.

Arnav didn't come back home that night.Everyone was worried.Mishra and family left to his relatives' home.

Nani:Why Khushi,Varun mentioned your name?

Khushi was crying bitterly.Arnav didn't answer her calls.

Khushi:I don't know Nani..some one cheated me...

All believed her.

Aakash: Khushi ji,can you please recall what happened in the past few days?Anyone from outside enter your room?

Khushi:No..Only Amma on the day of Anjali Di's engagement.

Arnav came with red blood eyes.It was evident that he was drinking.He never came home drinking after marriage.He went straight to his room.Khushi went after him

She closed the door.She called:Arnav ji...

Arnav looked at her and said:Don't open your mouth to utter my name.

Khushi:Arnav ji..you doubt me..

Arnav:You little bitch..I thought that you love me..I thought that you are innocent..I trusted you..oh God...how I trusted you...Never come in front of me again...

Khushi was now angry:So you don't trust me..you think that I cheated you.How can you think so?Look at me Arnav..please

Arnav:You liar...It is your mother who told that you were cheating me.

Khushi could not believe what she was hearing.

Khushi:What what.. did you say?

Arnav:yes..she told me..both of you were meeting in my absence...

Khushi:Arnav ji..She has gone mad...let me call her right now

She called her mother.

Garima didn't answer the call.

Khushi cried the whole night.When she woke up the morning,Arnav left.He didn't discuss anything with his family.The whole family was keeping aloof.

The worst part was the breaking news in the media connecting her with Varun...

She went to meet Garima.She came to know from her uncle that she left for Haridwar.

Aman came home and talked to Khushi alone.He knew what her mother told.

Aman:We all know that you are innocent Khushi but the proof is against you.Your mother called Arnav after the show and told that you were taking revenge on him.Why your mother said so?

Khushi had no tears left.She said without any feeling:I really don't know why she is being cruel to me?She left for Haridwar without informing me.There is something wrong Aman bhaiyya.But Arnav ji doesn't believe me.That is what worrying me.Why should I be here?I cannot live with a person who doesn't trust me.

Aman:No Khushi..he trusts you..he was at the verge of losing his identity yesterday.It's his strong will and God's blessing that he could manage yesterday.He can't mistrust you.

Khushi didn't mention what Arnav said.

Aman left .Arnav came home.He began to pack his things.

Khushi:Arnav ji,where are you going?He didn't reply.

He left leaving Khushi crying bitterly.

Anjali came to her room.

Anjali: Chote went to Australia.Actually he planned this trip earlier.He wanted to give you a surprise.He got the tickets ready last month.He is expanding his business there.Khushi..don't cry.I know him well.He can't do without you.He'll come back.

Khushi didn't reply.She remained in her room even though all tried to bring her to the normal life. She waited for his call,her Amma's call.Nani,Anjali,Aakash and Aman tried to make her happy but in vain.

The media enjoyed spreading rumours.Reeba enjoyed every bit of it.

Arnav didn't contact anyone.3 weeks passed.One day Nani and Anjali went to temple.Aakash went to office.When they came back they saw Khushi missing.They were desperate.They informed her uncle.They tried to call her.Her phone was switched off.

Arnav was walking restlessly in his room.He said to himself:I m wrong.How can I doubt her?Why did her mother tell me such a story?I'm cruel .How can I behave this way to her?she won't do anything to harm me.

Actually he was trying to contact her for the past one week. But couldn't.He repented what he had done and was nervous to call her.

He picked up his phone and pressed her number.It was switched off.he tried several times.

Then he called Aman:Aman,how r u?How is Khushi?

Aman cut the call.He was furious.

Arnav tried several times.He didn't answer.He called Anjali.He got the same response.Then he called Aakash.

Aakash:Why Bhai..you remember us?What have you done?Khushi ji is missing.She is not at home.

Arnav threw his phone and fell on the bed.He cried like a child for the first time in his life.

Arnav returned home .Aman showered him his anger on him for the first time .Anjali didn't talk to him.So also Nani.

He started searching for Khushi.

Mishra came to say goodbye.He was leaving the next day.He was very sad to know his condition.

Mishra:I want to talk a very serious matter with you. Could we please go out?

They went to Arnav's holiday resort a little away from the town.

Arnav was not interested at first.then Mishra said:It's about Mr.Shashi .

Arnav:What?

Mishra:I know where he is and his family.

Mishra:I told you to listen carefully.

Your father was more close to Shashi than Mr.Mehta and me.

We never visited Shashi's home in Lucknow.But your father used to.

Your father fell in love with Shashi's wife .

Mishra: Yes Arnav.. it is the truth. It's your father's lust for her that destroyed everything.It's very difficult for me to disclose it now.Because I'm destroying the image of a father infront of his son.

Your father fell head over heels in love with her.Your father was in his early forties and she in her thirties.

One day he told this to me over drinks.I was too afraid and annoyed.He also told that Mrs.Shashi didn't give him any green signal.Instead she hated him.That made him furious.You know your father was very handsome and rich.

One day he visited his house in the absence of Shashi.He tried to molest her and it was her brother who saved her.He warned your father not to come near his house again.When Shashi came she and her brother told the matter to him.

Shashi naturally decided to teach him a lesson.He threatened your father that he would kill him and destroy his family.Shashi withdrew his investment from the business and Shashi purposely did certain things to bring loss to your father's firm.I cannot blame him.

Then I visited Shashi's house one day.I could not blame your father.She was such a beautiful lady But it is wrong to eye another man's wife wrongly.

Your father started to face loss.He decided to get his daughter married before he loses everything.As you remember her marriage was a grand event.But the tragedy occurred as a curse to your family.Your brother in law was not murdered by Shashi. Shashi was out of town that day .He went with his family to Delhi.The murder is still a mystery.I know Shashi is innocent because it's me who made arrangements for him to reach Delhi.And you know where is Shashi?He is no more .

Arnav:His family?

Mishra hesitated and told:You married his daughter.

Arnav felt as though somebody hit him on head.

He was staring at Mr.Mishra:What..did you say?

Mishra:Yes,I met Garima,she was shocked to see me.I met her later.She was really mad when she knew that her daughter is married to the same man's son.She was not aware of his family name or whereabouts.She only knew his name as Raj.You resemble your mother.So she had no doubts at all.

Your Nani knows that I know the truth.But she has not met Garima earlier.So she couldn't recognize her.

Arnav:so,Nani knows my father's behavior?

Mishra:Yes,very much.

Arnav:Now,I understand why her mother tried to separate me from Khushi.

Mishra:But,Arnav you were cruel to her.It's easy to break the relations but it is very difficult to mend it.Find where she is and live happily.She is a good individual.You don't deserve her.Husband and wife's relation should be based on trust.

Arnav:I already realized my mistake uncle.I'll find out her.

But Arnav couldn't find Khushi anywhere.He searched everywhere in India with the help of private CIDs.He didn't want to involve police.

As days passed by he lost his interest in work and Aman and Aakash had to work hard to maintain the hold in the business.

6 months passed by.There was no sign of Khushi.

Anjali and Aman got married.It was a simple function.The marriage took place due to the pressure of nani.

One day Reeba came to see Arnav.She was acting as though she was sympathetic to him.

Reeba:I feel really sorry for you.How much you loved her.

She began to make constant visits.And one day she made an advance towards him.She hugged and tried to kiss him.

Arnav looked at her eyes and alluring lips.He saw a pair of innocent eyes in front of him..Khushi...He pushed her away which made her fall on the ground.He left the place.

Arnav went abroad and spent the next one year at home and abroad.He was totally withdrawn in personal life but worked day and night for developing his business.His whole nature changed.He was very silent but very r and dangerous.He continued his search for Khushi even though he lost his hope.His employees were too afraid of him.He very rarely spent time with his family.Aman,Anjali ,Aakash and Naani were sad.The marriage of Aakash and Shwetha was fixed.

One day Arnav received a call from one of his friends in the business circle.Arnav didn't wait for the call to end.He ran to his car drove it fast and reached his friend's office .

Jithin(his friend):Arnav, I saw her working in Ajay's office. Ajay is one of my friends in college.I heard that she was abroad completing her studies.She is secretary to Ajay.He doesn't know that she is married.She didn't recognize me.

Arnav:Where is his office?

Jithin:Dehradun

Arnav:Dehradun?How can I meet him?

Jithin:I'll give you the details.

Thus an excited but tensed Arnav reached Dehradun.

Jithin arranged his stay in Dehradun in a hotel.

Arnav went straight to Ajay's office.Jithin just informed Ajay that one of his friends is coming to meet him and requested him to keep it confidential.Ajay was very inquisitive but Jithin told certain lies.

Arnav reached Ajay's office.

Ajay received him with warmth.While talking Ajay asked his secretary to come to the cabin.Arnav's heart began to beat faster.He was sweating.he thought that he would faint.

The door opened.He heard the most familiar,dear voice.

May I come in Sir?

Ajay:Yes,please come,Meet Mr.Raizada from delhi.

Arnav turned to look at her.He saw a totally transformed person in front of him.Very modern but elegantly,modestly dressed person.Khushi was shocked and a scream escaped her mouth.She ran from there.

Ajay was shocked and stood up.

Ajay:What was it Mr.Raizada?

Arnav:She is my wife.

It was Ajay's turn to get the shock.

They talked for some time.Arnav stood up to leave.

Ajay:Ok,Mr.Raizada,I will transfer her to the Delhi branch.

Arnav:You'll get my share of investment in your business In Dehradun branch the day she joins in the Delhioffice. Listen,I'll be the CEO of that office.I'll help in expanding your business abroad.But you should persuade her to join in Delhi.I'll wait for your call.Please don't say that I'll be the CEO at Delhi.

Ajay was jubilant of the matter.He is getting the support from one of the business tycoons of the country.
