Part 19

Arnav didn't come to office for one week. No one in the office dared to ask her anything . She was very tensed and had no idea what to do.It was the sufferings of two years that made her aloof to him not that she didn't love him.

One day ,afternoon she heard his voice from the reception.She came out of her cabin.She saw Aman with him.She also saw a very beautiful girl with Arnav.Khushi went forward and said:Hello,Aman bhai

Aman turned and saw her.For a moment he was silent and came forward:Hello,Khushi..how are you?

Arnav went to his cabin with the girl.He didn't look at her.

Aman:Please come Khushi,I want to talk to you.

They went to her cabin.

They talked for some time and Aman went to Arnav's cabin.

Arnav didn't call her that day.He left with the girl and Aman.

Khushi went to her flat ,fell on the bed and cried her heart out.

The next day Manager told that the new girl is Arnav's friend's sister Nikitha.She is a MBA holder and was getting training under him.

Arnav was totally ignoring her.He called only Manager for coordinating the work. Nikitha was always with him and she saw her coming and going with him.One day the manager asked her:Khushi Madam,please don't be angry with me,but actually I'm anxious to know why both of you are avoiding each other?

Khushi:Please concentrate in your work.

Manager:Sorry,madam.

After two days,she was called to Arnav's cabin.Arnav was standing near a cupboard going through a file.Nikitha was standing very near. He said without looking at her: You were not doing your work as a secretary for the past one week.Why?

Khushi couldn't control her anger.She was getting insulted in front of the girl.She asked:You didn't assign any work.

Arnav kept the file in the cupboard and closed it.He came near the table took a bottle of water and began to drink.The water spilled and fell on his coat.Immediately she wiped it off with her dupatta.Their eyes met.She withdrew as though she got electric shock.The girl came forward,took a tissue and began to wipe away the water from his coat.She was shivering with fury.

Arnav:Mrs.Khushi,You've failed in doing your duty.Anyway I'm going to assign you an important task.You have to finish it fast because there is a meeting today evening.

Khushi:Today evening?At what time?

Arnav:6.00 pm.

Khushi:I can't attend the meeting.I will leave at 5.00

Arnav:Any important date?

Khushi stared at him .

Khushi:Yes,I've an important date,in fact very important in my life.

Arnav was taken aback.But he said:

Arnav:No probs.Nikitha will manage.You get the files ready.

Khushi:Ok,...Sir...She looked at him.

Arnav was annoyed.

In the office,they celebrated the birthday of each and every staff including trainees. It was only a celebration of cake cutting nad soft drinks.Arnav was not interested but it was a practice recommended by Aman in RR's all offices.He never attended any of the celebrations.

It was Nikitha's birthday.The manager called all the staff members and to their surprise Arnav also came to cut the cake.Nikitha gave the first piece to Arnav.She wiped off the cake remains at the tip of his lips with a tissue.Khushi closed her eyes and at once left the place.Arnav saw it.

Soon there was a murmur among the staff regarding Arnav and Nikitha.Khushi began to search for another job.But she had to give compensation amount.She possessed only her managalsutra as a valuable thing. She took it in her hands thinking of selling it. She has to quit the job but she had to find another one.

The media enjoyed spreading gossips about Arnav and Khushi's personal life.Raizada family was very much sad and disturbed.Arnav didn't care.One day Khushi got an anonymous message that Arnav and Nikitha were spending time in Arnav's resort.It was a Sunday.She became restless.She couldn't believe.But after some time she decided to find out. She knew the location.She went in a taxi.It was evening.

She knew his room.The security recognized her.Memories rushed to her mind which brought tears to her eyes.

She asked the security whether Arnav is inside.

He said:Yes..he is in his room.

Khushi knocked with shivering hands.

The door opened and he saw her standing there.His face was expressionless.She looked over her shoulder and saw Nikitha sitting on the bed.She rose to her feet.Khushi pushed Arnav away and slowly approached Nikitha ,looked at her and slapped her hard on her face.

Nikitha fell on the bed covering her cheeks with her hands and to Khushi's shock she heard a man's familiar voice from the corner of the room."My God...Nikhi...my dear".She quickly turned and saw Ajay running towards Nikitha . Khushi was almost mad.She couldn't understand anything.

Ajay:My dear,Khushi..you almost killed my wife.Arnav also came running towards Nikitha.

Ajay:Khushi..she is my wife.

Khushi fainted .

Khushi opened her eyes and saw Arnav,Ajay,Aman,Nikitha and Aakash staring at her.She understood that she was in a hospital.

Arnav:Khushi,how are you?

Khushi didn't respond.She began to cry bitterly.Doctor asked all of them to go outside.

Arnav:Aman,you are responsible,it's your stupid ideas that made her suffer so.

Aman:I'll kill you..It was you who asked me ways to bring her back to your life.

The nurse came out asked for Khushi's mobile.Nikitha had Khushi's handbag with her.She took the mobile out and gave it to the nurse.

The doctor came out and said that she can be discharged within a few hours..Everyone was relieved.

They went to Khushi's room.She looked at Nikitha and said:Nikitha,I'm really sorry.Ajay Sir,I'm sorry.

Ajay:Call me,Ajay.Khushi..my god,see my wife's cheeks.

Aman explained everything to Khushi.Still she kept quiet.

There were tears in Khushi's eyes.She didn't look at Arnav.Her mobile buzzed.It was a skype call.She cut it.Again the phone buzzed.She cut it.Ajay and Nikitha left.

Khushi soon fell asleep.Her phone began to ring continuously.

Aman:Arnav,please answer it.Just look who is it?

Arnav saw a skype call.The name was Sonu.A small boy's face was the profile pic.They looked at each other.

Arnav switched on the video.He saw a middle aged lady with a small boy on her lap.The boy looked very cute .Aman and Aakash looked at each other.The lady in the skype asked:Who are you?Where is Khushi?

Arnav went to Khushi's room.He showed her lying on the bed.At once the small boy called.Am..Am..Amma...

Aman and Aakash together responded loudly:My god...

Arnav was standing near Khushi ,like a statue,the mobile shivering in his hands.He was staring at the boy.

Aman quickly took the mobile .The lady asked very worried:What happened to her?She was almost shrieking.

Aman:"Nothing..she just fainted...and he asked:Who is the child?

The woman:Her son.

Arnav looked up.His eyes looked like a drunkard.He grasped the mobile and looked at the child and asked:where are you?

The woman:I'm in Delhi.

Arnav:Where?

She gave the address.

He got another shock.That's Varun's address.

Arnav:How do you related to Varun?

The lady:I'm his aunt.Who are you?

Arnav:She..she works in my office.

The woman:Oh..you are mr.Raizada?and she cut the phone.

Aman and Aaksh :Arnav,your son...he is your replica.What a twist?Oh my God..she hid your son from you.

Arnav sat on a chair covering his face with his hands and cried like a child.Aman went near him.He suddenly hugged Aman and asked:Do I deserve such a punishment?She didn't say a single word.I would have been totally unaware of it if today all these never happened.

Aman and Aakash tried their level best to console him.But he was totally shaken.

Arnav:I'm leaving,both of you please be with her.Please don't say anything to her.And he took her mobile with him.And please see that she has everything she requires in the flat.Please get a new mobile for her .

Khushi was discharged and Aman and Aakash took her to her flat.She was surprised and sad that Arnav was not with her.

Aakash:Khushi ji..please come home.You are weak..please ..We want to see a happy life for you and bhai .

Khushi kept quiet.

Aakash and Arnav left after sometime.They gave the mobile and she enquired :where is my mobile?

Aman told a lie:By mistake it is with Nikitha.She was holding your bag.So we purchased a new one.I think you know the important number

Khushi opened her laptop to talk to Varun's aunt.She was desperate to see her son.

Varun's aunt answered her call.Khushi asked:Where is Sonu?

She looked extremely disturbed,afraid:She said:Mr.Raizada took him away.

Khushi jumped to her feet:What?

The lady told her everything.

Khushi was now totally defeated:

She couldn't sleep.With shivering hands she pressed his number.

He didn't answer.She was in a panic.

She decided to reach Raizada house early morning.Memories flashed through her mind when she saw the mansion.She tried hard to hide her tears.She pressed the calling bell and waited.The door opened and Anjali stood there .She stared at Khushi.She turned and walked without a single word.Khushi got inside and saw the whole Raizada family sitting around her son .The little one was beating Arnav on his face with his small hands and was making cute sounds.Arnav was kissing his hand and cheeks.Nani was giving food to him.It was a really heart warming picture.

Nani looked up.She said:We were totally with you Khushi till yesterday.We know that chote was wrong but this is too much.You deprived him off from the rights of a father.We didn't expect this from you.Why are you here?to take your son away?You deprived your son's right to get his father's love.I'll never forgive you.

Arnav didn't look at her.He totally ignored her.She looked at her son and called :Sonu..He looked at her and smiled and suddenly hugged Arnav:

Nani:See,he found his father.How many times I called you and begged to come and live a happy life with chote?People will do mistakes but if they really repent they are to be forgiven.

Khushi turned and ran from there.

Arnav stood up and with his son in his hands he ran to the door and called:Khushi...stop.

Arnav reached Khushi's flat.He rang the bell.She opened it at once.She was looking for her son.

Arnav:What are you looking for?I'll never give him back.You are cruel..the most cruel woman in the world...how could you do this to me?Am I such a heartless monster?I loved you,loved you more than anything else in the world..I insulted you ok..but I repent..But I won't forgive you till the end of my life for what you have done to me .

Arnav continued:And how is Varun in the picture?Khushi cried and didn't say anything.

Are you coming with me?

Still she kept quiet.

He slammed the door and left.

Here i support arnav totally .arnav should be given a chance when he repents .what ever the problem is khushi could have discussed it with him .moreover he is loyal to her.
