Why god why can't they take me too with them for the camp even if I am only 8 years old? See all of them left without me o.k. ok not all but shyam dada and Arnavji why shouldn't they take me with them even Anjali di went with them why god? I am struck with this nk and Akash ya Payal and Lavanya too... But they three went without taking me.

Shashi Guptha watched his princess descend the stairs with a sad pout in her face he smiled knowing the reason for her sadness she is missing shyam Anjali and Arnav they have gone on a week's camp and will be coming back really soon. He knew that his daughter will start her complain if given a chance so he grabbed his bag and bid a quick goodbye to his wife and sister and left with his daughter.

Kushi is the pampered princess of the guptas being the youngest and the only girl child of the family. She is papa's princess her mother's pagali her buaji's sankadevi but her brother shyam's pari. She is more close to her brother than anyone else and shyam too can do anything to the smile intact on her face.

The Guptas and the Raizadas have a long bond of friendship being aristocratic families their business complement each other. They are also neighbors, Raizadas shifted to Delhi some 25 years back when Yash raizada the father of Arnav and Anjali started his tenure in business and Shashi shifted to Delhi after the birth of kushi from Lucknow. They have the houses in the same compound with a single gate to show their oneness. Shashi and Garima treated Arnav and Anjali as their own while Yash and Rathna showed no difference between the four children. Manohar Malik is the younger brother of Rathna and his wife is Manoramma and they live two streets away from the raizada and Guptha mansion they have two sons Akash Malik and Nandukishore Malik. Lavanya and Payal are the friends of kushi. Shyam is the oldest among the children he is 17 , Anjali is 15 and Arnav is 14, Akash is 9 and nk is 8 but they study in the same class since Akash missed a year.

Shashi dropped kushi to her school and left for his office. Kushi entered her class with a gloomy face.

Payal: what happened kushi? Don't say you are again missing Anji di shyam bhai and Arnav bhai

K: ya I miss them a lot you know but I miss dada a lot.

L: yes you will surely miss your bhai na bhai ki chamcha

k: la don't tease me I'm already upset

L": ok sorry teacher is here

The rest of the day passed in the same way with a gloomy kushi and her friends trying to cheer her up. Evening Shashi came to pick her up since the other three are not In the School or they usually come together all the six in a car. Kushi reached home and she again started to miss them all she missed her dada the most he is her knight in the shinning armor, but he will be back soon.

k: oh papa when will dada come?

s: with a smile soon beta

k: but when i want to see him now. i miss him so much.(she stretched her hands wide to indicate the limit. meanwhile shyam who has returned from his camp silently creped behind her and lifted her off ground)

Sh: hey pari

k: dada you came. I missed you.

sh: but i didn't miss you

k: papa see dada says that he did not miss me so tell him I am angry with him.

k told this while comfortably sitting in sh arms and snuggling closer to his chest with a strong grip in his tee shirt. They made a perfect picture to etch in any rakshabandhan greeting card. The parents smiled at the duo with misted eyes.

sh: hey princess i missed you a lot and dropped a kiss in her head and snuggled her closer.

He so missed his baby sister. She is 9 years younger to him. He still remembers the first day he met his sister. He was so insecure when his parents told him that he is going to get a younger sibling. But when he saw his just born baby sister with cute cute tiny feature he fell in love with her and when she stared at him after 2 weeks of her birth with those tiny hazel orbs his whole universe shifted she became the center of his existence. From then she became his priority and kushi too was fond of her brother right from her childhood. She will wait for her brother to come home from school at her 3 months and will gurgle happily when he will come straight to meet her. She took her first step while holding shyam's hand and learnt to walk by holding his hands. her first word was dada and this was the first time he left her alone what to do this camp is so very important for their assignment so left without a choice and missed his sister and her crazy antics a lot, She is his universe he will do anything to safe guard her he will move heaven and earth for her happiness.

Shyam came out of his thoughts when he felt the whole weight of his sister on him and looked down to see the sleeping form of his sister. He chuckled and made her to sleep on her bed and went to catch up with his parents and Buaji.
