3 Years Later - London
"Uncle Arnav! It's going to hurt really badly" Tara cried out as she her grip on Arnav tightened before the gun pierced her ear.
"Sssh, It's okay you're a big girl now, The big 10! Big girls don't cry" Arnav continued to rub her little palms whilst nodding to the woman to continue.
Tara had her eyes squeezed shut and kept nattering OMG, she was exactly like her mother, Arnav thought letting out a slight chuckle. Khushi was too scared to take Tara to get her ears pierced so he decided to take Tara on her 10th birthday and purchase her a pair of cute sliver earrings as he did consider Tara as his own daughter.
After the incidents that had occurred in their past lives, they were gone but surely not forgotten. But as they say with time everything heals. Arnav and Khushi had become great friends, let's say more than friends. They loved each other immensely but it wasn't the love that existed between couples. Arnav became good friends with the Gupta's and they would always throw hints whenever they got the chance, but Khushi was too stern to ever listen or even pay attention to them.
Arnav and Khushi was all what everyone was talking about, Khushi started to work with Arnav at this office helping him with legal issues and accounts. Whilst Arnav was busy designing and launching his new ranges. Oh and who was his number one model? Khushi! Of course. After extreme pressure and using Tara as her weakness Arnav got her to agree to be the face of his company. They were both there for each other, helping each other heal and their rain watching sessions continued. They would spend rare nights in Delhi watching the rain with Tara just jumping around the place. Trust, love and happiness was restored between them, however the past was never brought up. It was too sore but they were both happy where they had finally ended up.
They had moved back to London for a temporary time because of Arnav's new fashion launch in London. At first they were both hesitant but they told themselves they had moved on and whatever life would throw at them they would happily accept and move on. They had each other and that's what mattered the most.
"See look you didn't even feel anything it's all done!" Arnav tickled Tara who stared at Arnav in shock
"Is it really done?!" She looked at herself in the mirror
"You were being a little baby for no reason, come on now let's get some earrings for you and get going to your mum" Arnav stated choosing his own favourite sliver heart shaped earrings for her.
"Do you like them?" Arnav asked her
"Yesss Navvvi," Tara exclaimed hugging Arnav tightly.
She would call Arnav Navii when her mother wasn't around because as everyone knows Khushi would know she wouldn't be too happy with she heard Tara call Arnav Navii. It was all uncle for her. There would be times were the Gupta's would question Tara and gain her opinion on Arnav and if she liked him. The response they would be blessed with was
"He's my real dad and I love him, I don't like him being my uncle, it makes him sound old"
If only Khushi had heard that and would have seen how much of an impact Arnav had played in Tara's life.

Khushi was busy finalising a few things for Arnav before he would come back with Tara. She was nervous as hell when Arnav said he would take Tara to get her ears pierced. It made her panic, any sort of pain to her little one would frighten her ever so much, and she needed Arnav to calm her down. The effect he had her was just simple amazing.
Following the painful part of her life Khushi learnt to accept everything and move on in life, she was more than content with life right now. She had an amazing loving family who adored her and Tara more than anything and she had her best friend Arnav Singh Raizada who was secretly her knight in shining armour. The amount of times she has prayed to God thanking him for making her collide into Arnav nearly 4 years ago on that rainy was countless. Arnav was her saviour, he supported her and she supported him, yes they were both victims but they came together and fought all the pain out of their lives. Not a single toss was given about their ex partners.
Now here they were stuck in London.
Khushi couldn't wait to go back Delhi, because after Delhi herself, Tara and Arnav were going to Singapore for Tara's 10th birthday. Due to the hectic schedule they were unable to surprise Tara on the day but have planned this wonderful idea for her. Waiting for the pair to arrive, Khushi quickly wrapped up the files she was working on and decided to pack up and get ready to leave.
Leaving the office, Khushi waited for them at the main doors as Arnav had given her strict instructions not to go back to the hotel without them. Tara was too excited to show off her new earrings gifted by the favourite male in her life. Casually scrolling done her news feed, she heard the most irritating voice ever to shout down this office.
"Where is Mr Arnav Singh Raizada! I demand to see him now! I had an appointment booked with him for today at 2:30pm but he didn't turn up? Is that professional? I don't very well think so! You better get him on the line or I will sue him for wasting my time." The woman screamed her back towards Khushi
Khushi was baffled wondering who on earth was this woman talking in an ill-mannered way about Arnav.
"Sorry Ma'am Arnav Sir isn't in today he cancelled all this appointments due to an emergency he had" The assistant sternly replied not taking any attitude from this extremely annoying piece of human being.
"How dare he not have the decency to cancel with me! I demand to speak with him right now" She banged her fist down.
"Sorry Ma'am, I left you a voicemail 3 hours back, you could have checked your phone. Also you may leave" The assistant shrugged her off and went back to her laptop.
"Who the heck do you think.."
Before she could finish Khushi made her way over, tapped her on the shoulder to bring her attention.
"Listen Miss.."
"It's Payal"
She spat out staring at Khushi her face painted in makeup and her lips stained with a bright red colour. Her hair was loose down to her shoulders in waves with her tight midi dress glued to her exposing every single angle of her.
Wow, she probably spends half a day just getting ready Khushi thought.
"Listen Miss Payal" Khushi hating that name wanting to never say that name again.
"You need to understand your fault in this and leave, Mr Arnav will rearrange another meeting you, kindly stop causing unnecessary drama" Khushi calmly told her wanting to add in stupid bimbo in her final few words.
"Who even are you his sister or mum?" Payal scoffed eyeing Khushi up and down and rolling her eyes at her attire.
"This will be the last time I'll ask you to leave, kindly please.." Khushi was keeping her calm as she was asking Payal to leave when she heard a voice
"What's the matter baby?" A male voice spoke from behind her.
That voice that she thought she had left several years ago, had come back to taunt her. Why did this have to happen right now?

So guys, remember my story from back in the day Droplets? The sequel is back. I doubt any of you remember the story but it was a SS and here is the sequel to it and tbh this will be 10 chapters long too just like the other one.
So hi guys I thought I'd jump on the ArHi bandwagon, this isn't some romance that we usually see as the first part was based on a real life story and now the sequel is kind of the fiction side. I hope you all enjoyed it and tbh it was my first piece of writing in time. So go easy on me!
