Have the tables turned for the great ASR? Has the lucky boy lost all his lucky charms? Stay tuned for more update on this hot topic!

Arnav Singh Raizada was 101% sure that tomorrow's Page 3 of almost all the newspapers in India would cover a story on those lines. After all what better news could they get other than him walking bare footed on the roads while wearing a damn Mundu. For a man who disliked wearing anything traditional, he was wearing a bl**dy mundu after all. He could not believe he himself had made a way for the people in the Business Circle and Media to mock him. He was so furious that he felt like he would literally stab the person who designed the mundu to death. On top of that, the scorching summer heat along with the hot sand that was burning his bare-feet was like adding oil to the fire.
He cursed the moment he had agreed to his sister's silly demand of visiting temples in South India. Anjali, his sister as usual had coaxed him into this ridiculous trip with her emotional blackmailing. She had apparently taken a vow of visiting seven temples in South India with him if he cracked the Singapore deal, which he had been working on for over a year.
And here he is now in the seventh temple, which is the Guruvayur Sri Krishna Temple in Guruvayur town within the Thrissur district in Kerala, to be precise. According to the people in Kerala this temple is referred to as the Holy Abode of Lord Vishnu on Earth. But all that did not matter to him; he had lost faith in God years ago when he had lost his parents in an accident during a Teerth Yatra. He only visited temples because of his sister, who unlike him still had faith in God even after loosing her parents along with impairing one of her legs due to the same accident.
He looked towards his sister who was walking along with him towards the temple. She was everything her name depicted. She is calm and peaceful in nature and out of all she is very understanding and loving. The best part he liked about her was her smile. Even after going through so much in life, she never once complained. She used to face everything with a smile and he himself would do anything to keep that smile intact. Apart from her stupid demands like this of visiting temples; he loved everything about her.
The only relief he now had was that this was the seventh temple and this torturing trip would end for him soon. But unfortunately for him that relief vanished as soon as he saw what lay before him. He was utterly shocked when he realised the queue he saw in front of him was the one that led to the temple. He was not sure if queue would be even the right word to use for such a HUGE line of people. There was approximately 2km still left for entrance of the temple and looking at the size of the queue and the rate at which it was moving, it would at least take 2 hours for them to enter the temple. He looked at his sister who was already looking at him with her questioning eyes.
"What happened Chotte? Come lets go stand in the line!"
Arnav got even more shocked when he heard that.
"Di are you ok? Or has this hot weather damaged your sense of thinking?"
Now it was Anjali's turn to get shocked.
"Chotte is this the way to talk to your elder sister? Looks like it is you who has lost your sense of thinking! Why would you say such things?"
"Why wouldn't I? Can't you see this huge queue? It will take us at least 2 hours to get inside the temple! You still want to go and stand in this line?" asked a baffled Arnav.
"Off course Chotte! We can't go back without the darshan!" answered Anjali.
"Di we will come later once the queue reduces."
"Chotte it's always going to be like this. Maybe the queue might get even longer. Do you know sometimes people come in the midnight and stand in the queue for the morning darshan here?"
"What the?"
"Really Chotte ... I am telling you the truth!"
Arnav got surprised when he heard that. He did not understand why people would take so much effort to come to this temple when they could just go to any other temple.
Anjali grinned knowing what was going through Arnav's mind and said, "People come to this temple because they believe Lord Vishnu resides here and that he will make their wishes come true. Also this is one of the most peaceful temples in India."
Arnav sarcastically replied, "Yeah I can see how peaceful it is!"
"Chotte stop being so cynical! What I meant is that peoples' mind becomes peaceful when they come here! Now enough of your sarcastic talks, lets go stand in the queue before it gets longer!"said Anjali.
"Di are you sure you want to go stand in that line? You will get tired Di! What if your leg starts paining?"
Anjali smiled and Arnav's concern for her and replied "Chotte you don't worry about me! I will be fine! Come on lets go!"
Arnav knew there was no point in arguing with his sister anymore so he walked along with her and they stood in the queue.

Unknown to Arnav and Anjali, there was a third person that happened to hear their conversation. It was none other than Khushi Kumari Gupta. Khushi was a freelancer journalist and she had come down for holidays to her mother's native town, which was Thrissur. And how can a traditional Hindu girl not visit the Guruvayur temple especially when she is in the same town. She along with her Ammuma (Nani/Grandmother) had come to the temple for darshan and she was buying pooja items when she saw the great ASR walking barefooted in a mundu. She was shocked, would be an understatement. Being a journalist she very well knew who he was. In fact, she also had a secret crush on him ever since she had done an article on him and his success for the Business Magazine a year ago. She had learnt a lot about him and was highly inspired by his achievements. Ever since then she had wanted to meet him in person, however since she was a freelancer journalist, she never got the opportunity or permission to meet him due to his strict private security. But as far as she knew about his personal interests, she knew he did not believe in God and that he hated to wear traditional Indian clothes. So she was shocked to see him at Guruvayur wearing a mundu. To take a closer look at him, she went a bit near him and saw him talking to a lady whom she immediately recognized as Anjali Singh Raizada, his sister. She had seen her pictures along with him in many magazines. She did not mean to eavesdrop in their conversation but she could not stop herself from going even closer to where they stood due to her inquisitive mind.
Looking at Arnav's agitation she had wanted to giggle but at the same time she found his agitation to be pretty cute. But what touched her the most was his concern for his sister. She saw them walking towards the huge queue. She knew how tiring it could be to stand in those huge queues. Even a person who was completely fit and fine would find it tiring; then how would a person like Anjali, who had a leg problem stand for so long? She felt sorry for Anjali and wanted to help her out. She was in a dilemma whether to approach them or not. She was not sure if they would take her offer of help in the right spirit and on top she was a stranger to them and if she used the word media, ASR could get furious at her. But the caring Khushi in her could not be stopped, so taking in all the courage in her, she approached them.

"Excuse Me?"
Arnav was busy cursing his luck when he heard a melodious voice; however he tried ignoring it thinking it was his illusion. But when he saw his sister turning, he also turned around to see a beautiful girl wearing a traditional Kerala saree looking at them with her dove-shaped eyes. He felt an instant pull towards her and he liked that feeling for some unknown reason. He had seen many girls and has also been in a fare amount of relationships but he never once felt a pull towards any of them like he her felt for her. He knew there was something different about her but he did not understand what it was. He came out of his trance when he heard his sister speaking.
"Yes, can we help you with something?" asked Anjali.
Both Anjali and Arnav looked at the girl expectedly for an answer.
"Hi, I am Khushi! ... I ..." Khushi had walked up to the brother sister duo, but she was not sure what to tell them.
Both Arnav and Anjali glanced at each other when they saw Khushi hesitating.
"Khushiji please don't hesitate!"
Khushi started cursing herself for coming down to Arnav and Anjali without planning properly about what she would say to them. "Khushiii ... Buaji is right in calling you Sanka Devi! Why couldn't you plan what you wanted to say before coming here? Now say something before they think you are crazy. Come on Khushi you can do it!" Khushi kept mumbling without realizing that Arnav and Anjali could hear her. They both did not know whether to be confused or laugh at her antics.
"Khushiji don't worry we won't think you are crazy ... you can tell us what ever you want to without hesitation!"saying that Anjali started chuckling while Arnav just smirked.
That is when Khushi realised she had spoken out loud.
"I am sorry ... actually I am a journalist!"
Both Arnav and Anjali got surprised hearing that. Anjali turned towards Arnav; she knew he hated the media people and now seeing a journalist in front of him in such a situation, anger was sure to rise within him. But what shocked Anjali was, even though Arnav had a surprised emotion on his face, he seemed to be calm rather than being angry with the girl.
Arnav was shocked hearing that Khushi was a journalist and initially he was angry at her audacity to come to them but that anger subsided soon enough because of the same courage she had in her to come to them and introduce herself as a journalist even after knowing he hated the media. His chain of thoughts broke when he heard her trembling voice again
"Sorry Sir ... I know you hate the media but I am not here as a journalist. Actually a while ago I heard your conversation with your sister. I did not mean to mean to eavesdrop into your conversation its just that I was standing at the shop nearby and heard it."
Khushi then looked at Anjali and continued to speak
"Ma'am I don't mean to be rude, in fact I am very inspired by your courage. Even after seeing such a long queue you still wanted to stand in the line to take the darshan. But Ma'am, as Sir said, it will take you at least two hours to get inside the temple and it will be very tiring. If you don't mind, I can help you get inside the temple without standing in the queue."
Anjali was touched with Khushi's care and concern for her. She wondered if such caring people still existed in the world.
"That is really sweet of you Khushiji, but its ok! We don't want to bother you", replied Anjali.
"No Ma'am it wont be a botheration at all. Actually my uncle works in the temple and I can get a special entry pass for you easily. He usually organizes for a special entry pass for my Ammuma ... I mean my Nani when she is here for Darshan. In fact, she is here today too and she is waiting at the special gate entry for me. So I have to go to my uncle to get a pass for her anyways and in the mean while I can ask him for you both as well. I am sure it wont be a problem!"
Arnav interrupted before Anjali could reply and sternly said, "Why do you want to help us though? If you are doing this to get something back in return then don't bother Miss Khushi."
Khushi knew Arnav wouldn't like her offer of help but she did not like the way he spoke so even she replied back to him boldly.
"Sir, I understand your hatred and distrust towards the media people, but as I said ... I am not here as a journalist but as a mere human being. And Sir, not everyone in world helps people in the hope of getting something in return! There are people in the world who help just for the sake of humanity and I am here just for that!"
Arnav was shocked when he heard Khushi's reply. No one had ever dared to speak to him like that and if someone ever did he would see to it he would make his or her life a living hell. But now, forget about making her life a living hell, he was not even angry with her. In fact he was admiring her. He was right in his initial guess about her. There was definitely something different about her, something that the other girls he had met before did not have but she did. She was beautiful, smart, outspoken, courageous and off course crazy as well. And he liked her. But deep inside he was still a bit hesitant. He was not sure if taking her help would be good idea. After all she was a mere stranger to them.
His chain of thoughts was broken again, and this time it was his loving sister.
"If you insist so much ... then we shall come along with you Khushiji. But on one condition!"
Both Arnav and Khushi looked at Anjali confusedly.
"You have to stop calling me Ma'am and instead call me by my name!"
Khushi smiled widely and said "Off course Anjaliji!"
"Ok then, lets go?" asked Anjali.
"Yeah lets go!" replied Khushi.
Anjali turned towards Arnav and saw that he seemed to be hesitant. So typical of her brother thought Anjali.
"Chotte, come lets go! Shouldn't you be happy now? A while ago you were complaining about standing in the queue for 2 long hours and now when you don't have to ... You are still standing in the queue like a statue!"
"But Di..."
"Come on Chotte ... It was so kind of Khushiji to come and help us! It's so hard to find such good-hearted people these days! Don't think too much now and let's go!"
"Fine Di ... As you wish!"
And the three of them started walking towards Khushi's uncle office in the temple.
