A huge blow for everyone, isn't it? This was planned since the beginning, in fact it was one of the most important thing because of which I started this story. When I said this story is so much more than Alzheimer's I meant this.

I am having a great time reading all your comments, some are justifying Akash's acts, some are not convinced that Akash had a solid reason. And one thing that surprised me, many of you are thinking about Khushi, how is she going to react. A pleasant surprise, it was a huge revelation, and you are keeping it at a corner and thinking about Khushi, it means I have done my work, connecting readers to Khush's emotions. I am a happy writer 😃

Now what if I were not writing the story, let say if I were a reader instead, what would be my POV. There are many comments that coincide with my outlook and many who have managed to surprise me, why did I not think of that? So all in all, I loved everyone's point of view. I will not justify anyone's act because according to me everyone was at fault.

My POV: No one is either black or white, people are gray.

Nidhi: She loved the other man with all her might before the marriage but after marriage, infidelity is the biggest crime according my standards! Once, twice, doesn't matter.

Akash: He saw his mother getting sexual to his father's best friend. Okay I get it, he hates his mother. But does that give him the license to leave his sister?

Bhushan: He wanted to give a chance to his wife, right? But as far as we know he left her, alone. He left his daughter too? What happened to giving another chance?

Khushi: According to me, she was not at fault! She had reacted the way any sane person would react. BUT there is one thing, that Arnav would point out, tiny bit which will be shown in chapter 12.

So memories is a story of a disease and a dysfunctional family! Humans are complex and most beautiful creation of God. How do we process what is wrong and what is right, when there is no written code which tells us what is black or what is white. It amazes me, how we all process same thing differently and there is no conclusion, who is correct.

Another thing, now that we are going to deal with Akash and Khushi, next will be Arnav and Tara. A hint for you, it will be like reading the same story but with a different perspective 😉

Hint : Maybe because Nidhi was responsible for the drifting in the family.. Like Akash and Bhushan were projected in the bad light in front of Khushi which caused the family to disintegrate...

the second option was what Kavi Di has written...alcohol and drugs..

the last one : Maybe Akash was forced to chose the other Uni (which he had no plans to do, initially)...

finally, why did Nidhi stay back in the first place?

Umm since I resed and I am unresing now, is Akash pissed off with his mother as her acts drove his father towards alcohol.

I am not getting any other reason. Did she ask for divorce first?

Did she drive him away from the kids?

Okay enough of my guess work and I will leave the rest for others. 😉

the update really clarified a few points...

the equation is slowly going between arnav and Khushi, now they are friends and she is surely making him confused over a few things and losing control and being proved wrong is not something he can't take easily..

Arnav is saying and being sorry.. That's a great acheivement for him..

The backstory behing akash and his mother is now being cleared.. Though I understand that he didn't want to keep anything with his mother, he just can't leave his baby sister to live alone..

But he surely is trying to make ammendments and he will make it with time..

Arnav & Anjali are the siblings that are tackling their issue gracefully. Its difficult for Arnav to digest that Anjali is having Alzheimer. Its difficult for Anjali as well. But Khushi is her strength. Khushi is a blessing for Arnav & Khushi.⭐️

Arnav's past is still like a puzzle.😕

Khushi's family is too too complicated. Her parents, Akash & Khushi had to face a lot in their past. Their past is shocking with loads of twists & turns. So Khushi & Akash are the troubled souls. Hope so with Payal's support, Akash tries to improve his relation with sister.
