Khushi"s eyes almost pop out to see Arnav coming to her house again. She pushes buaji vehemently that she starts to cough. Khushi tells her to go and drink water. She also hides and calls Arnav. When she came to know that he is at her house, she tells him to come at Laxminagar hospital, because she brought buaji here. Arnav says why she didn't ask him, he would've taken her to the hospital. Arnav turns back to leave and Khsuhi bends down to hide. Bua is getting flabbergasted at her staccato behavior. She tells bua that she needs to buy baniyan. Bua is astonished more, baniyan for whom, for damadji! Now it's time for me to be flummoxed, The business tycoon's wife will buy baniyan for her husband from laxminagar bazaar, haire nadkissore!
After Arnav left without wasting any time Khushi wants to go back to home, she is not even letting bua drink her water. Khushi calls arnav to let him know that he doesn't need to come to the hospital as she already reached home. He should go home instead and take rest, everything is fine. Her words sound incongruous what makes him incredulous. His incredulity increases more when he overhears bua. Khushi says bua became so sick, that she had to take her to the hospital. Arnav wants to know what the doctor said. Khushi said doctor himself was sick, so he couldn't see bua. To hear her stupid incoherent answer a flicker of exasperation inundates through him. Khushi again tells him to go back home and everything is fine here. She hangs up without talking further, as she can anticipates that she has been enmehing by her own words and her LG is smart enough to catch her lie..
In RM a ghost is giving blank calls incessantly. First mami, then nani, the caller is not responding to any one. Mami becomes naughty; she asks her sasuma sarcastically did she have a secret boyfriend who is calling. Her insinuation embitters nani so much that she glares at her angrily. There is a freshness and warmth in Mami and nani's bitter sweet relationship, just IPK.
When mami and nani were talking they see anjali is going out for a walk. nani wanted to accompany her, but she refuses, as she wants to go alone. Something is sure fishy.
In GH Bua is in deep slumber, snoring horribly what makes Khushi happy. She thanks DM for bua's sleeping habit in the noon time. But Khushi's delight doesn't last long as someone is at the door again. A fat guy is asking for her at the door, is she Mrs. Raizada? Before Khushi can shut the door in front of his face Arnav comes there also. He brought the doctor for buaji.
By the way this doctor is actually Khushi's neighbor, he was seen everywhere during Preeto's wedding. He even came to Khushi's house to get his electronics fixed by Arnav. The cvs couldn't assume that the viewers will watch their show so keenly that would even recognize the BD of Laxmi.
A perplexed Khushi can't understand what to do. Arnav chides her to move from the door, so that the doctor can go in to check bua. Khushi starts to make excuses that bua is sleeping, so they should leave. Arnav is infuriating, he asks doctor, can he check her in dormant state. The doctor assents. But impervious Khushi is still blocking them, so that they can't come inside. Arnav literally pushes her to come in and directly comes to bua's room. Arnav is baffled to see bua's healthy condition, she is looking perfectly alright. The doctor himself is startled. but he also thinks sometimes the patient looks healthy from outside, but she actually can be ill. Khushi assents him by nodding her head. She likes the doctor's perception.
From where the astute Arnav got such a dumb doctor! He doesn't look like a doc at all.
Arnav and the doctor both sit beside bua to check her. bua's dhai kilo hath fells on arnav's hand what makes him winces in pain. Though he says he is fine, but Khushi can see the heavy weight of bua's hand is hurting him. So to remove her hand, she tickles bua. bua laughs in her slumber and moves her hand. Arnav is bemused to see his crazy wife's antics.
I can't write any more, Sanaya's acting is making me ROFL.
Now shuru Khushi's drama. When doctor was checking her pulse she tells him bua got stomach problem. Arnav looks stupefied, in stomach! Khushi wants the doctor to check her stomach, but how can he check in front of her damad, so she gestures Arnav to go out. Arnav understands his pagal biwi's gesture and he goes out.
When Arnav left Khushi tells doctor in panic voice that he should check her BP first. Khushi tells the doctor the most tragic story of bua. Two years back bua had a happy family with her two kids, one son and one daughter. One day she got her son married grandly, but after the marriage the shoshan (exploitation) started. She is expressing her emotions so emphatically that the doctor also gets convinced. But he can't understand who was oppressed, did buaji oppress?
"What do you think, iss nannhisi jaan kisika shoshan kar sakte hai!.. Can this innocent soul torture anybody? She endured so much. They didn't give her food on time, they compelled her to do all the house hold works" bua snores more in comfort. the doctor just can't relate the story with her happy state. Adding more color to her story she says rhetorically,
"Listen carefully, buajiki ek ek kharate mein uss waktki dukh bhari dastan sunai denge apko." she is just completely engrossed in her story. The doctor asks her how he can prescribe her medicine.
This is the first doctor I've ever seen who asks patient what he should prescribe for the patient!
But Khsuhi didn't complete the story yet. She continues, one day her DIL snatched her son from her. The doctor is feeling really bad for her. Khushi says, her daughter also left her, she is 32 years old now and living in Mumbai. Now in this big house this nanhese jaan is living all by herself. Khushi's verbal dexterity works well on the doctor as he feels empathy for bua now. Bua only have one niece in this world who is Khushi.
"You also didn't get married." doctor wants to know.
"Didn't you see such a big laad governor standing outside!" Khushi chides the doctor and I think he deserves it. A while ago he addressed her as Mrs. Raizada and now he is asking her didn't she get married yet? Khushi says she likes to come here to be with bua, but her husband doesn't allow her to come here, that's why she has to make excuses. She needs to come here to support her, to assuage her broken heart. She almost in the verge of tears while depicting her feelings. bua's snoring increases more with comfort. The doctor understands everything that she is not actually physically ill, she is just upset wit her current situation. Khushi is glad that he could undertstand, but she is sad that the guy who is standing outside doesn't understand. The doctor assures her that he will take care of him; he will answer him on behalf of her. He is now prescribing her some vitamins and forbids her not to show it to Arnav.
What a gullible, nave doctor who got convinced by Khushi's shenanigan so easily.
While waiting outside Arnav calls Aman to inquire about the landlord issues of Bua's house. When the doctor comes out he asks him about bua's condition? He says nothing serious, just some common problem what people have in old age. He wrote down a prescription for her and leaves.
Khushi comes and tells Arnav that she is going to get the medicine for bua. But Arnav wants to go. When he is here at his darling wife's service how can he let her go? But Khushi who always does her work by her own, will not give the prescription to him. Arnav snatches it from her hand and she tries to reach it. Arnav keeps it away from her and Khushi gropes for it. Arnav snakes her waist with his hand and in a swift movement he pulls her close to him. He says huskily,
"Do you want this? Then you have to agree my condition." his eyes are swirling with mischief and pure devilry as she struggles to extricate herself from his hold.
"What?" Khushi's heart rate is already haywire at his close proximity.
"You know" says Arnav with his eyes smoldering in a most beguiling fashion.
Khushi knows what he wants. He is asking a kiss. He leans to her lips and she also is in rendition. When she sees he is getting weak with passion, she just snatches the prescription from his hand and also extricates her from his grip. She is exultant to lose him in bet. He smirks derisively.
"shayad har gaya, lekin tumhare saas itna kiyu fool rahi hai, why are you breathing so hard?"
'nahi to." Khsuhi is getting tizzy. Arnav doesn't want to miss this opportunity of her weakness. He comes close to her, angles his head and gives her a peck on her cheek. Khsuhi's eyes pop out again in bewilderment and she gasps inaudibly. Arnav says sardonically,
"khushi I never lose a bet."
"if you want anything, just call me." he leaves.
'nahi karenge" Khushi retorts him by screaming. She is exasperated. But after he left, her hand slowly lifts up on her cheek to feel her lips there. Her cheeks now are a rosy hue as she is still blushing. An involuntary shy smile glints her face. But she reprimands her to stop getting emotional.
In RM mami is tensed for Anjali, it's been a while she went for a walk, but why she didn't return yet. She comes out to check her and she sees Anjali seems talking to somebody at the threshold of the house. When mami asks her she pretends talking on the phone with some Nupurji. But she gets caught for lying as her phone also rings at the same time. Anjali lies again that she didn't notice when the phone got disconnected.
Mami can't buy her words, she becomes suspicious, as she saw the phone was not in her ear, then whom she was talking with!
Khushi and bua are having their evening tea. bua tells Khushi about her weird dream; she heard a story in her dream that someone's husband oppresses his wife, he doesn't let her go outside and all. She is feeling bad about that girl. Khushi starts to cough to hear her real dream. She knows it was not a dream but she heard her.
The phone rings and Khushi goes to answer it. It's shuklaji, their landlord who called, but she gets mad what shuklaji told her. She just can't finish talking about this matter with bua, the door bell rings again. And it's Arnav again. How many times this majnu deewana came to see his wife today! Oh man he just can't stay without her. I think he should sojourn here in GH. But Khushi is not so delectable to see him or moreover when she heard he paid the due rent. Without telling him to get in Khushi attacks him like a prowess, why he did this? It was the impulsion of her rage. Arnav retaliates, why she did it? bua becomes jovial to see his favorite SIL. She cordially welcomes Arnav. Khushi is now caught red handed for lying about bua's health. She doesn't have any choice but to let Arnav come in.
Bua asks him what happened, he looks tensed. Arnav says nothing; he just heard a sad story while coming here. He says the exact story what Khushi told the doctor, there is a woman who had one daughter and one son. The woman got her son married with grandeur. But her DIL tortured her so much, what you can say shoshan kiya. bua is getting touched with the sad story completely unaware that it was her story. She even wants to hear more. Arnav continues the story, one day that DIL snatched her son from her and she was left alone and suffered more. Khushi is agitating, she doesn't want bua to hear more.
"Then she became fine." She tries to avert the topic and ends the story as if she knows it already. She offers Arnav tea. But Arnav is still in his story telling mood. He says, how can be she fine, she has unmarried daughter in home. Khushi wants to talk to Arnav. But Arnav doesn't pay attention to her and says buaji rhetorically that since he heard the sad story of this woman, he had been thinking of her.
"Her niece's husband is also a very bad person" he looks at Khushi with a question in his eyes. Bua quips that means there is not a single person in this family is happy. Arnav's eyes stays on Khushi and she tells him that she needs to talk with him. Bua wants to know who is this unhappy family? Khushi doesn't let him talk further and drags him inside her room. Bua is still mourning for the unhappy family.
Inside Khushi's room Arnav charges Khushi for lying about buaji's health? Khushi doesn't want to answer him, but she recriminates him for paying the rent of bua's house. She takes a step towards Arnav making him instinctively move backward, gets him obstructed by the door. So the control is now on lady LG's hand. She is recalcitrant, what did he think, she can't pay the rent of the house?"
Arnav looks a bit rueful. He says it doesn't matter. khushi retorts, it matters, cause she doesn't want any favor from him. She is one girl who doesn't want to take help from her husband, when she knows this is an ephemeral marriage.
An indignant Arnav holds her arms and pins her on the door,
"ehsan, favor, you are my wife Khushi. buaji and this house means something to me." he bristles, an anger is rising. Khushi can't say anything; just keep looking at his eyes, trying to find words to retort back.
