Looking up at the sky, he placed himself back into the air-conditioned BMW as the extremely unendurable burning heat from the afternoon sun was making things worse for him...first it was Khushi, after driving for almost 3 hours straight, when he finally found his destination, was that all he deserved to get as his "reward", a lock on the door??...and now this hot burning sun has to torture him too...as if God has decided to select this day to test his patience...as if life and time both have decided to play a prank on him...make fun of him...

After taking off the coat, Arnav loosened his tie and folded up his shirt sleeves upto the elbows, letting the by Giant Savings">cool air release some of the unbearable stress...taking a deep breathe, he leaned back to the side of the head rest to look up at the 9th floor...not taking any chance to lose her again, Arnav decided to wait for her in the car...thinking of waiting for her, his lips curved up to a soft smile as he recalled their first encounter at the business party...

21 months back

The dazzling rays from the extraordinary chandelier were bestwoing the entire hall an exquisite aspect...dumbfounded by the embellishment of the entire palace, she nervously entered the hall, quietly praying to catch a glimpse of lavanya somewhere...'this lavanya ki toh...she was supposed to come with me but...uff...now what??!!...I hardly know anyone here...now where will I find her??'thinking of her colleague, her eyes caught the sight of lavanya...heaving a sigh of relief, she almost ran towards her, ignoring the weird looks that were coming in her directions...in her attempt to make it faster towards her friend in order to avoid losing lavanya in this high crowd, she stepped on the corner of her own dupatta, causing herself to trip over when she felt a strong arm around her waist...

Greeting the young girl with a kiss on her cheek, he held her by the shoulder, " hey sweetie!!...thanks for making it here...and here comes your dashing driver..." commented the center of attention at the party with a sly smile..."thanks for the 'half impressive' introduction man!!" a sudden voice from the back made them look at the person when playfully hitting him on the shoulder, Anjali protested "Stop it Arnav!!!..."...smiling at his best friend, Arnav opened up his arms to hug him "always welcome dude!!"...unable to keep her excitement, the young lady bursted out to get the attention from the men, "wooow!!!...this place is so mesmerizing Arnav...I want to explore the beauty of it...can I Arnav??"...smiling at her kiddish act, Arnav answered, "...of course BUT not now...first enjoy the party then you can examine the whole palace from the top view..."

Feeling disappointed she requested again making an innocent face, "...please Bhaia..."...as soon as the last word hit his ears, he felt compelled to change his decision...this is the only girl with whom he shares a strong emotional bond...the first time he met her at his university when she came to him for some help in understanding the whole marketting concept...and she is the only one who had called him 'Bhaia'...she is the one who gave him a new relationship...since childhood he never had any relationships except Aman's friendship...even though Aman's family always considered him as a part of their life but he was always scared to be a part of any family...that's why always keeps a respective distance from such domestic...especially the ones that has a prefix of 'happy' before family...closing his eyes, Arnav turned his head towards his friend to look at him, "see Aman...this brat really knows how to get on me..."...turning back to the girl, "ok fine!!!...go ahead...I will see you guys soon then" accepting his defeat...proud of her accomplishment, Anjali laughed before leaving for her exciting exertion with her hubby Aman "thank you...I love you"...

After helping himself with a drink, Arnav decided to head towards the main door as he felt suffocated in his own party when he got trapped by a bunch of girls, some of them were his ex's..."hey beautiful ladies!!...how can I help you??" gently asked an uninterested Arnav...' Oh Lord!!...not these plastic girls again...' still trying to keep a smile on his face he tried to excuse himself from the circle before any of them starts demanding a dance with him, which was the last thing he would ever do with any of these artificial creatures, "ummm...sorry dears, I have to meet someone urgently, business issue you see!!!" examining their frowning faces, he knew they wouldn't buy that from him..."trust me...I will be right back" convincing them as he turned back to sneak out of the scene, he felt a sudden force on his left arm...before he could fall back with the person being on top of him, Arnav managed to get a hold of her waist..."hey woman...watch ou..." the rest of the words refused to come out of his mouth when those innocent yet piercing eyes looked up at him...

I know it's not much but i really want your best feedback for me to make it longer...I'm sorry but that's how it works guys.

"hey woman...watch ou..." the rest of the words refused to come out of his mouth as soon as those innocent yet piercing eyes looked up at him...completely unabled to blink his eyes even for a fraction of time, he found himself lost in admiring the sparks of diamond pearls in those almond shaped eyes...is she for real??...he has never met a girl with this simplicity...or should it be, no simple or pure girl has ever come across his life...not that he took any of them seriously...but this one seems pretty natural yet perfect...no fake stuff, no heavy make-up, in fact...umm no smile...why isn't she smiling??...isn't she supposed to be feeling on top of the world being in the arms of the most eligible bachelor in the town, the perfect ASR??...huh!!!!... all of a sudden coming out of his thought, Arnav helped the girl stand properly...

Now examining the girl from bottom to top with a smirk playing on his lips...nervousely overlapping toes while trying to stand correctly...coming up to her hands, which were busy playing with the tip of her dupatta, then quickly fixing it over her shoulder, so that her soft satin baby pink anarkali churidar with silver embroidery work on it looks decent on her, she again came back to the 'playing with the tip' session...hmmm, he never met a girl before who wears traditional costumes...then who is this girl and what is she doing in 'his party'?...his thought got distracted as soon as his eyes fell on those trembling lips, that he immediately got the urge to taste them...abruptly taken aback by his own thought, considering the fact that being a popular casanova he has never felt to touch anyone's lips with his which he badly wanted to do right now...enjoying every little part of her nervousness, Arnav decided to continue his admiration phase for some more time...

Composing herself from his grasp, in stead of thanking him for saving her from falling, she stood there like a statue as if her feet were glued to the cloudy reflective blue shiny tiles on the floor...'my lord!!...is he checking me out???...'...sensing his attentive look at her direction, she tried to distract the building nervous level by looking everywhere but him...'where the hell am I stuck in???'

"Thank God you are here!"...this unexpected voice did make him curse the person for breaking his concentration...keeping his rage under control, he turned his attention towards his secretary..."Sorry yaar!! I was supposed to pick you up but..." noticing his boss, Lavanya immediately changed her tone..."Sorry Sir!!...I wa..." cut by him, "How do you know her??"..."She was appointed to the Management Position last week...since you wanted all your staffs to attend this party, so she..." again interrupted by her boss...slipping his hands into his pockets while supporting himself against the decorated pillar, after crossing his legs Arnav skillfully expressed his feelings, " Lavanya ...lavanya...Lavanya!!!...my dear Lavanya!!...did anyone ever tell you that???"...confused at his boss's sudden question, Lavanya asked rather curious to know about herself "that...What sir??!!!"...still smirking at her while kept stealing glances of his new employee, Arnav continued, " yehi ke...you unnecessarily talk too much...I asked, how did you know her NOT how did she land up here...jitna poocha geya sirf utna hi batana sehat ke liye achcha hota hai...right Msss.????" waiting to hear her voice, when Lavanya stepped in, "Kh...khu,..shi...her name is Khusi", noticing the look on her cheif, she bit her tongue to quietly apologize...

Taking a deep breathe to let out the frustration, Arnav unwillingly smiled at Khushi for appreciating her help, "Thanks!!!..."...turning his attention to his favorite side, he demanded, "...but how come I am unaware of the fact that a dumb person is working in my office for the last one week???..."

'Oh dear!! first he kept on staring at me like a low-life creep and now calling me a dumb???...I DO CAN SPEAK YOU M****...did anyone ever tell this guy that he needs some lessons on 'woman issues' ??...woow as if it wasn't enough from him that now he gotto be my BOSS??'...quickly grabbed Lavanya's hand, Khushi dragged her to a corner after giving an apologetic look towards him, "Excuse me Sir!!"...before he could make farther comment, this time her soothing voice has left him speechless...

"I beg you please tell me, he is not our Boss..." pleaded a nervous Khushi..."Unfortunately I have to say 'YES' he is the one and only 'the ASR' of AR Group of Industries..." lavanya answered her colleague sarcastically..."ASR?" asked a confused khushi..."don't tell me you have never ever heard of the one and only business casanova 'the ASR'..." examining the confused look of her friend, she rolled her eyes in disbelief, "which planet are you from honey???"...being new to this city of Mumbai, she had no clue what her friend was talking about, however, she decided to make a guess, " does it stand for 'the Arrogant Sick Romeo''?? cause that's the only explanation I can relate to him..."...cracked up at khushi's sense of humor, lavanya corrected her, " good one...but it's 'the Arnav Singh Raizada'..."...'Arnav', the name itself just sounded musical to her ears...she couldn't believe a person, who, she highly doubt know the meaning of love, was actually named after such an authentic word...looking back at his direction, she just stared at him, but this time with an amusement in her eyes...
