Gorgeous caring man in your edit Indi di.
266 and 267 have so many different expressions from Barun that am having a tough time deciding which ones to pick and which to leave. Every single look meant for that one lucky girl.. but rest of us can always dream.. 😳

fireflies, or jonaki as i call them, in the back of beyond, wooded and natural place where i grew up... night meant jonaki. we'd catch them, cup them in our palms trying to see the light glowing against our skin. much talk of phosphorescence i seem to recall.

i was totally shocked when he came back with a couple of fireflies to allay her fears. did not expect that completely lyrical moment at all. then the light on her face, but more... on his, as he looked at her... he looked a little scary and completely struck by wonder and joy... to be the one to give her comfort and then looking at her face, to forget everything just immerse in her...

yet, nothing thick or too sweet about the whole thing. fascinating.

thanks rhea, for the beautiful edit.

yes, all and every expression in the hut by asr... unforgettable, indelible, breath hitching. i have been making some edits for something else. was totally puddle while making them.

There is something extremely and indescribably touching to see ASR, who was till not too long ago a cynical jaded man, dream about the girl he loves.. A man who a few months ago wanted to have nothing to do with the emotion called love. Who had been tormented at the idea that a girl right out of nowhere could cause upheaval in his life. He was determined that no girl could make a difference in his life. A man who even more recently was but a jilted lover and fiercely protective brother. And here he sat completely worn out, tied in ropes, with his heart still soaring at the sight of the girl he knew could not possibly be there in front of him.

His eyelids blinked open and the tired eyes came into focus. The eyebrows constricted in a fleeting frown as he registered who was before him. Kneeling in front of him was the face he longed to see, of the very girl he longed to be with. His wife. "Khushi" his incredulous relieved whisper out loud... She sat kneeling in front of him. A determined unwavering expression adorned those beautiful features tonight. The face that has unknowingly arrested his attention so many times in the past. The face he yearns to see right now.

He wants to see the person who he hates the most

The camera pans and reality sinks in. A man physically restrained in a dull sodden shirt, bound to a chair, limp hands.. such attention to detail in the frame, in the pose of the actor in this frame.. And on the dusty floor of that warehouse where he is being held captive, opposite him sits a woman. Long black hair cascading down her shoulders.. Flowy Chiffon anarkali in bright colors.. His mind conjured an image of her which matched how she looked when he had confessed the all important all encompassing truth of their existence.. He loved her.. Her back erect, alert, the woman leans towards the man, almost drawn into him. The wind plays with her hair and as he drinks her in even in his exhaustion he can't help smile in wonder. Khushi?👏👏

His hand stretched out to reach her. But both look down at the rope that restrains him. A strange disturbing helplessness as he stares at his inability to break free. And a glistening heartbreaking tear makes its way down her cheek. A tear had travelled the same path when she had heard.. He loved her.. Her eyes move back up to him. For now he relinquishes the fight against his restrains. Perhaps it did not matter that he could not physically touch her. For now she was here.. Khushi sach mein tum ho? A childlike innocent surrender in that question. Why does it take me back to the night when he stood looking at the galaxy full of twinkling stars and had asked her about his mother.. "Kya wo sach mein taare ban jaate hai?" Was it this belief that had sown gradually, but steadily within him thanks to the presence of this girl? And was that the very same belief that made it possible to dream about her today? He smiles.. He thought it was all just a dream..

Baat sahi ya galat ki nahin vishwas ki hai...and he will accept it during telepathy

If it was the making artist who deserves credit for Barun's look then how did the same artist not able to make this man look good in the last few tracks of the show?

Her fingers are still outstretched holding onto thin air that lay between their two separate bodies. They may be apart, but their souls have long since merged into one being.. With infinite care her hand raised to stroke his hair and rest on his cheek. Those chiseled immaculate cheek bones that once were unblemished in glory are covered in grime and sweat today. He had completed this same gesture many times before. But she.. when had she really got a chance to show her love? On holi in an inebriated state she had cupped his face and showered him with love in the surreal way only a young girl in love for the very first time could do. He could not let himself fall for that even thought his heart repeatedly reminded him of that trusting guileless moment. Maybe subconsciously he remembered that gesture. He felt safe when she held him this way. His cheek angled itself closer as he nuzzled into her hand..

Just like a child who always loves his mother's in any trouble and suffering..

I notice his face was trusting, relaxed as if her presence meant he no longer needed to fight. Everything was going to be alright. Her face on the other hand seems all grown up tonight. A woman taking care of her man. Perhaps he needs her strength for a few minutes while he lets go and indulges in the safety of a fantasy. But just like that night with the stars when she had not been able to tell him a lie, today tenderly she lets him know it is his dream. The wretchedness returns in those hollow eyes as her image dissolves. The few seconds of coveted interlude he allowed himself fade away with it.The hand all this while had remained outstretched, straining to hold her.. The soothing noise of the wind is replaced by the unnerving crackling of electric pulse..

He cannot bear it. Before our very eyes we see this man breaking down. His palm clenches hard and you don't think it is anything except his despair.. till he turns over that hand and slowly the fingers start to open. Within it lies what treasure.. His girl's very essence.. A single trinket.. a relic of the pom poms that were part of all her dresses. That bobbled merrily whenever she went. It had followed Arnavji. It had refused to be left behind. Not willing to stay apart from him, it had come with him to keep him company in the darkest loneliest hour.. Sometimes it was a very significant key, mannat ki chabhi, sometimes those precious pearls, sometimes a priceless anklet, her amma's payal, always it felt like the whole universe had conspired to ensure these two would remain together. Now when they had finally admitted to themseleves that they did want to be together forever, they had been forced apart. Today an inconsequential almost silly looking pink piece of bauble connected her securely to him. It was this absolutely wondrous thing called love that IPK got right each time.

That pom pom acts like a stimulator for him to come out from that darkness,A ticket of hope and acts like a will power...it reminds him her aroma, her lums , her touch

How must the man feel.. when he remembers she had tried valiantly desperately to stop him from leaving. He had disregarded her truth, rejected her attempts.. Left her torn weeping alone in a crowded airport as he resolutely walked away from her.. His wife who had stayed up all night taking care of him .. Been mad with worry about him when he was only slightly ill.. She had held onto him and not let him fall.. And he had flung their framed photograph onto the road in anger.. the glass had cracked into a million pieces, just like the heart of the girl he had accused of being characterless.. Even then she had tried to let him know she cared and he had not given her a chance to explain.. Only gotten angrier and harsher at her.. When he had her hand in his he had wretched himself free. Now what would he not give to have that same hand safely tucked in his?

He had turned in the airport to go back to her, but what if it was too late now? He had let her know he loved her, but what if he never saw her again? How would she survive without him? How would her smile return? What could he do? Why were things this messed up? Oh if only I knew all the questions that he must ask himself as he closed his eyes in what felt like soul searing grief to me. A man whose happy dream of love shatters yet again.

Rhea beautiful 👏

In this whole episode this was the only scene which stads out like a dream and I remember these epis even couldn't increase the trp .But for suckers like me , these are gems.

yes has tilting like a child to embrace peace which he is yearning for years and she was sitting there non judgmental , full of hope , with love and concern with pain seeing him suffering with his own bounded ropes.

Thnx for this beautiful thoughtful piece..

the breath was always key, at the core of story. saansey ruk jaygi, hamari dhadkane ek ho jaati hai, acidity, dhakdhak. there were many ways the breath came and gave life to story.

and then there was gust of wind, smoothly breezing in, wrapping around two strangers who would be lovers one day, sometimes it lifted a veil and stroked against a man's face leaving a touch behind, at others it came and left in a quick swirl, or it came and stayed and breathed as if waiting for them to see something, to realise something. that day in berserai, way back in episode thirty something, they spoke not a word to each other, he tried, she rushed away, but for long moments, gust of wind stayed and murmured, a bated urgency in it.

i wonder was the wind as if a symbol of breath too? that of the skies, the heavens, the universe itself? i am letting myself go a bit into this ornament that decorated the love story... a simple sound handled with finesse and complete imagination... something that might have become utterly corny like many other things in the tale, but somehow didn't. 😃

it's always been in the air... and it has been different, given a sign when they have sensed and felt each other, been attracted, taken note of the other, longed. in that first rabba vey, it was the wind that rushed in first, later when he thought she had left for lucknow but she hadn't, it was again there the moment she walked in with the sweets for anjali's anniversary... and later still on a day the electricity went, he walked into the house and felt her presence thanks to that susarrating sound of a breeze.

and today after many days of not seeing one another, of constantly wanting to see the other, of fearing yet loving fearlessly, of suffering yet loving with pure joy, they are on either side of a wall...

we could all see it was a cardboard structure... it shook every time barun or sanaya touched it. sometimes it just moved on its own, perhaps even the gust of wind too much to bear. the otherwise realistic set was suddenly reduced to what it was... a tacky tv serial set... where possibly the funds were already on the wane. 😆

and yet, it really didn't matter.

what i saw was so beautiful, that's what counted.

the writing of this meeting was done with great care and empathy with very specific asr khushi notes in it; the direction was intricate; lighting, editing, sound... everywhere there was the creative person's interest and effort showing. and oh the acting. without a word, with minimum gestures, how two actors made me believe yes, it is possible to feel the other even through a thick impenetrable wall.

two people deeply involved do probably sense each other... i at least think so. and there is a coming together of prana, breath maybe in them too. khushi and asr have spent many months together, seeing, hearing, feeling things, over time perhaps a sixth sense about each other has grown. no, not perhaps, it has... and kidnap was the ideal time to explore it.

very natural , when you are living with a person u get bounded with that person at so many level

👏 Lovely

in the godown, she awakens, "
yeh kaisi jagah hai, hum yahan kaise pahunche?" what sort of a place is this, how did i get here? then she seems to recall that rocky hit her. she looks around flustered, disoriented... tense.

rocky with his scorpion tattoo was reminiscent, for me, of shakaal with his odd shoe size in yaadon ki baraat... an obvious little giveaway that leads the protagonist to some major find/truth. filmi, hindi filmi, but it brought her here to this wall.

beautiful first shot of him, mysterious, fleeting, he sits on the other side... then a closing up and a good look at the captive.

he was flopped against the wall, perhaps a wave of hopelessness washing over him when he heard it... the gust came from nowhere and halted him in his tracks, eyes registered it... something, what was that... out there.

and an instant or less later, her head stopped moving jaggedly, her thoughts changed track , she had heard it too... it touched her...

piano notes trilled in...a feeling you have felt looking into each other's eyes, facing each other, it perhaps finds ways to imprint itself in you and you begin to sense the other even when that one is not right before you.

there was energy and movement in the frame at once, his eyes darted, no lack of focus, worry, fear, nothing in it anymore; only a search... perhaps a lick of hope.

hey hey.

she turned her head... focus coming into her eyes too... behind her maybe there was something?

his head turned toward the same wall between them... sensing. yes a cardboard wall that shook, but the density and of expression...

This is what had gripped in these months while living together. That wind and mehsoos has seeped in deeper way deeper that these dense emotions can cross this dense wall

she looked at the wall in wonder... what was behind it, why did it call her...

he turned further, his ears straining it seemed to catch a clue, something... what was there...

and the next level of longing... of sensing, a hand came up. touch. her fingers traced a path up the wall, searching.

the sense of sound is the last to go i hear, is it the first to be alerted?... do we "hear" our instinct?

he moved in to touch the wall too...

and as she felt him through that wall, her memories unshackled... a cascade released that they both felt and touch and immersed in. a moment of pure connection between two people who were connected in ways even they had no idea of... 👏Beautiful description

is this love? is this the ideal we seek ? is there something biological here? or is it just plain fantasy that has no basis in what really happens? would we be fools to believe in such things...? yet haven't we felt things about those we connect to without there being a rational basis for it? and love, is it not inherently extra-logical... extra-rational? my favourite logical vulcan, spock, never quite understood it. in a way, my dear handsome asr was vulcanish... till it was time to be human and perfectly, headily utterly illogical.

These illogical things are actually make sense but if we are fool then why the heck we been trained since from the beginning to enjoy this fantasy...why do fools are spending so much money on these fairy tales ...because these illusions are for our sansain...

the first memory: it's the first rabba ve...he looks stunned at her. is that when the absolute anchoring happened and that thread that started with a snap picked its first real perfect pearl?

back in the present: he brought his other hand up, wanting to feel her, touch her with all of him... always this need in him... where is she? is she here? there's only one person who makes him feel this way... no other. is she here? his fingers felt the wall almost full of wonder... hope, yes... only hope... and longing maybe. for many days he has sat in a dark room, bound... he has summoned his will, his courage to free his hands, he has worked his mind to think. but in his heart a yearning he has spoken of, khushi, i love you, and then has had to leave alone. but now perhaps that longing erupts... completely taking him away from every rational thought and flinging him into a torrent of hope. there was a sense of inevitability perhaps seeping into the darkness and now it seems shaken..

the next memory: colour. touch. feelings. on a rangoli they lie... what happens to our emotions when they fly around and settle here and there leaving colour, marking their place?

she stares at the wall in wonder. it seems to say something. she has not seen him for days, she has worried, fretted, dreamed, feared the worst... arnav ji is all her heart has focused on. nothing else. maybe that's why there was the sensitivity in her that was needed to feel the call...

a memory: and he touches her... she feels it on her ankle, a payal slipping on...

a funny sort of accepting in both that this is no coincidence or hallucination. she articulates it, "aise kyun lag raha hai jaise arnav ji yahin kahin hain?" why does it feel as though he is here somewhere?

his eyes say the same. a little lifting of lips as a memory overwhelms him... of picking her up and making her sit up on bed, taking care of her... ah nainital, so long ago, even before he had any idea this might be love, even when he was with another.

she seems to catch the drift of that same memory and recalls what came after. she had run to him in the hospital.

the feeling is to real, it seems to galvanize him, he gets up from the floor, and tries to reach up and look at the other side through the ventilator... a kiss by a poolside flashes through their minds...
Nice word, galvanize, yes his search has come to an end those moments are galvanizing and stirring their feelings

hear, touch, want,... stages of connection.

her eyes grow keener, searching...

both are ready to move toward each other... here, right here.

from an inner space a leap is taken, a boundary scaled and a need lands on the hard harried floor of a warehouse.

both get up and look around for a way to reach something. a note of desperation. restless to find out if what they suspect is indeed true.

and it's time for the next sense. sound. to speak the word. on her lips, "arnav ji," with her eyes closed, as though it is a prayer... but then, isn't it? the lover's name in its purest most sacred call is a call to the eternal... to life itself, isn't it?
arnav ji.

They both re saying each others's name in a different tone..if he is saying it out of springing love , a woman in her is saying his name in a different tone..the level of exchanging words have ben changed.

we see him straight after that call. he has heard it... yes, he has... music takes note. an energy a racy urgency in it now, a dynamism, an excitement.. a sense of right here right now.

khushi?

one word... changes everything.

she is here.

his entire focus shifts... she is here. his head turns and this time unerringly it finds the ventilator that looks into the room abutting

he's at the wall again and a sotto voce, throbbing, "khushi!"

her eyes are still shut... then she hears it...eyes open wide.

she is here and in him a vigour fresh and ascendant... khushi!

he's trying to reach her, calling out, straining against the wall, possibly already thinking how to break it down...
khushi!

but she is almost hyperventilating... disbelieving... relief mixing with pent up emotions.
This is the moment of I've found you with disbelief...

they stand on either side of a ridiculous cardboard wall calling out to each other as though an ocean separates them... just because of the power of acting, i am convinced it does.

"arnav ji, arnav ji!" a smile in her through the tears... "woh woh yahin hain!" he is here.

khushi!

khushi! he is beside himself with emotions of all sorts.. and oh the energy flowing rushing whirling into him... man taking command, taking charge. who cares who is the captive and who the captor... he is asr and his wife is on the other side of the wall and he is going to get her...

not for a second did i doubt he would. no matter what the needs of the narrative, he would get to her. defying the writers and directors, even channel if need be.

Wellsaid , oh yea he will get her no matter...what.ASR's wife s on the other side of the wall and that wall remains stand in between them...impossible

she cries clinging to the wall as he calls her, bangs the wall... like that phone is this wall to her, something that has her arnav ji... and he ready to scale it because it parts him from her.
Just said above

"khushi, khsuhi, upar ki taraf dekho, ventilator hai..." look up, khushi, there's a ventilator above.

solutions he has looked for all his life, especially when emotions have overwhelmed him. now too. look for a way to solve this situation.

"haan hume dikhi... ek minute ek minute," yes, i have seen, one minute...

she feels the flow of life asserting instantly. there is a way to him... she will solve this problem too... khushi always took action as well, once she had focused on an issue.👏

he has found a chair and reached the ventilator looking down, "khushi" he calls.

and then the sweetest thing. "khushi dhyan.. dhyan se..." khsuhi, careful! tender urgent voice and like a blessing, ah a note of asr anger, clenched teeth too... "be care.. careful khushi...!"
Care is always there

where is dammit... when the dammit is here all is right with the world... such specific characterisation.

she looks up at the voice, then climbs up onto the box and her first sight of him in days... rabba vey had to burst forth, her heart... it's all her heart talking

and his.

brilliant use of rabba vey to say it all... it gushes forth... no soft trilling in...

a look, a smile, a tear... and a hand reaches the mesh in between, a need to touch, to feel assured, it is you, you are here.

his fingers rise to meet hers. there are doubles and fake walls, but there is a real feeling. and a song too.

I know but these things never bothered me

as he touches her fingers, the girl to leave whom he only feels taqleef and who maybe for a short while he had feared he may not see, asr is simply moved to tears... this is khushi and he can touch her, see her, hear her.

the love of his life, someone he had never ever thought he would find, in fact how securely he had locked every door to that possibility, yet she had found her way. found her way to him... found him.

i can't believe it's you she wept, exhausted by the emotions of what seems like a lifetime.

"khushi, main..." his voice was tender... what did he want to say?

"akhir humne aapko dhoond hi liya..." i did find you finally, she said jubilant and maybe still a little disbelieving.

he nods with the sweetest smile and then, "dhoond liya tumne." the delivery was outstanding i thought... crisp, cool and dense, with wonder and love in it.

That's it and from now on he will never let her lose him...He will be guarding this relation as a hawk

she did find him despite all. and he loved her because she found him... him that had receded so deep within that nothing could reach... she did reach it.

magic moments between two lovers in a darkened miserable place where danger lurked yet was somehow made irrelevant... because dhoond liya tumne, because khushi, i love you... because of a wind you can feel and a song in your being.
she leaned closer as he looked at her as if recording her every little nuance and storing it in him.

she peered at him and a gaze that said she worried.

he reassured her, "khushi, i'm fine!"

"nahin!" her voice was not tender. it was irritated and full of angry love...

with a right she had never shown before, she stormed, you are not well, i knew you were in trouble. why did you lie to me on the phone?
Her right to cast to be angry with him, Why did u do that?

he tried to handle it. "khushi, stop..."

"nahin! hum nahin rukenge..." she is not stopping, she is the aap shut up girl, she is not going to listen to you just because you are asr.

beautiful. normal rhythms of asr khushi surging in...

she is angry, he is trying to stop her. but she rants, i know you aren't ok so why are you lying to me...

how much love is there in every word, every look.

these two actors are not shooting together, yet the matching of emotions the perfect rally of words... not for a second falters.

"khushi, shh!" he knows she is concerned.. otherwise how dare anyone talk to asr like that...

"ok.. hum sab kuch discuss kar lenge..." we'll discuss everything.

i feel like giggling... how much this man abhors melodrama and high emotion. all the time trying to pull it down to a reasonable "normal" level.

of course, he had to fall for jhalli drama queen. 😆life's law that is.

"pehle mujhe yeh grill todni hogi..." first i have to break thsi grill.

she grabs his hand, you are going nowhere, mister.

"khushi, tum chahti ho main tumhare paas aaon..." khushi, you want me to come to you? gently, softly, he asks rhetorically... she was only eight when her loved ones were suddenly gone... maybe he knows how vulnerable she is... a child within still hurting... like him.

he reasons with her...

she won't let go still... he will not shout today, instead, a hand comes up to join their clasped fingers, and, "khushi, main tumhare paas hi hoon, yahin pe." khushi, i am near you... here.

he has never ever spoken to her with his feelings so bare, though he has longed to, now that he has said what he has, that she is before him, the tenderness of the most angry i don't care man sees no need not to flow...
i love you says his every look, every word...

all he wants is her... nothing else.

when she tries to help him with the grill.. "khushi, no, don't! main kar loonga, tumhe lag jaygi.." i'll do it, you'll get hurt... i want to weep. the writing of asr in this different moment is flawless.

He was floored by her effection and love and the way she reached for him.
"khushi, i said neeche utro..." khushi, i said get down.

"nahin, hum yahan..." no, i here...

imaptient move of head, "khushi, go now..." a peek of asr anger, so natural and a beautiful detail.

"dhyan se! khushi, you ok?"

no doubt now who is in charge. 😃

"arnav ji!" she panics when she can't see him for an instant.

"khushi, main yahin hoon, i'm right here"... the voice is sure, the look is full of softness.

"main yeh grill todkar uss taraf aa rahan hoon, okay?" i'll break this grill and come to the other side, okay?

"relax."

i pass out quietly at that relax, so so asr.

and there's an an interruption by rocky. when asr realises his girl was touched by the cretin, a sharp, "usne mara tumhe?" he hit you? the anger is here...

"ek tarah se accha hi hua warna hum aap tak kaise pahunch paatey..." in a way it was good, she said, how'd i have reached you otherwise.

he strains in anger.

and suddenly his concern for her makes him furious... he says paradoxically, what was the need for you to come here! how did you get here! "khushi tumhe... tumhe kuch ho jata toh." khushi, if something happened to you...

and we are on a road... at night when he had felt he might have lost her...

arnav singh raizada can bear everything but not losing khushi.

"itna bada risk leni ki kya zaroorat thi..?" what was the need to take such a big risk?

she is smiling, he is raging.

"khushi, what's so funny! muskara kyun rahi ho!" he is rough and angry.

"itne din jo ho gaye aapke daant sunke," it's been so many days since i heard your scolding.

Here meets Rajkumar and Shitan

joyous writing... stupendous acting.

kyun dard hai itna plays... she smiles at him as he looks on at her touching her fingers, giving in to that love. no one, he perhaps feels, loves him as much as this pagal of his. the one who puts mango juice in shoes, and sugar in petrol tanks, and who wants him to shout at her.

all the sadness and longing of the days gone by seep into the frame, as two lovers meet and unite, no matter there is a wall in between...

was this not true uniting too, a consummation? with both hands they grab each other. a rope is passed between the mesh by both as he devises a way to take out the grill.

"you told me tumhe pata hai main musibat mein hoon... kaise..."

khushi, you said you knew i was in trouble... how.

khushi, i love you... she remembers.

that string between them held taut by him, there was always a tie, a dori, a rishta. great touch.

the breath... the wind... khushi and asr to me were always about life. never death. to be immortalised they did not need to die like heer ranjha, romeo juliet, laila majnu... they were the lovers of our times who could rave rant fight scream misunderstand nahin understand and love deeply passionately imaginatively, emotionally, physically,
with telepathy, and in a way be in the moment and yet transcendent.

this meeting between any two lovers would have been memorable. but this one was so truly khushi asr, including gussa and sanka.

asides
that setting up of a night away using mami ji and her sudden love... stay with your family to khushi... while a bit obvious, filled me with delight...
the hugs are here and so is the hut.

what was that whole payal in a restaurant with coffee drinker about? was something considered then canned? or was it truly time pass... maybe a screen test for the guy... strange to say the least.

Indi 😊

Lovely as usually ,

windy start which became a tunnel of wind and they came right in the middle swing in each other's embrace of feelings and emotions.

He loves this Paagal who can go any length for this Man and he has no choice but to accept that with his head down and that is what we are seeing here in this epi.

Finally they both have found each ther but it was her who initiated that

Horizon, what you wrote above just took my breath away.
Uff the poem!
Ho can you write so beautifully!
How can you depict the emotions so perfectly!
Seriously answer me, are you a professional writer?
the whole post is too enthralling.
i really want to see you write Arshi tales.
Please, please, please, do write. May be arnav and khsuhi from a different angel. Like, both are docs and NRIs like us What say!

Sohara, truly touched by your love and appreciation for the piece. Thank you very much.
Fiction for now doesn't seem to be my cup of coffee..😃.. but even if I do write when ever, i cant imagine one bit different about asr and khushi.. asr will have to be a business tycoon punching keys into laptop, talking to aman and sealing deals..very very integral to who he is..
khushi will always be a jhalli middle class darthi hai par karthi hai girl
otherwise they are not asr and khushi..
hope you agree..😃

thank you dear once again..hope your Ramadan is going well.. one more week..
take care...

She looks at the phone, can't believe what precious words this phone conveyed to her. He cuts the call, shuts his eyes to control his emotions what was creating havoc in his heart. His fingers curl wishing to hold her. His countenance looks tranquil, as if some burden lay down from his shoulder. A satisfactory smiles glints his face. his feelings, his inhibition, his credence, what finally broke through all the barriers, and found a release.

He doesn't know what is waiting for him; will he able to see her ever in his life! Before his last breath he could tell her that he loves her. As Ranjha he couldn't finish the line before death. But today he did it. He even can't die without saying his real feelings for her. So many times he uttered loud and clear, that she doesn't make any difference to his life, but never could say his real emotions that she makes lots of fadak in his life, not fadak only, he can't breathe without her.

A mlange of mirth and sorrow encompasses her heart. khushi clutches the phone on her bosom, right close to her heart. She tries to feel him through the phone as that inanimate object conveyed the most beautiful moment of her life.

Rabba vey takes over. Tears of happiness are flowing form her eyes redundantly, mingling with her smile. She moves away from the crowd, trying to contemplate what she just heard.

The family looks relieved and relaxed. shyam who was missing for the whole time during the phone conversation, comes to cajole Anjali. He quips that she unnecessary wanted to trouble the police. As soon as he mentioned police, a thought suddenly came to Anjali's mind, that when they wanted to call police Chottey called right then, as if he heard them. Akash jests her, sure bhai did, otherwise, his di would've waken up the whole delhi city.

Where the family was rejoicing after talking to Arnav, there in a deserted dark warehouse Arnav is found tied to a chair with ropes. I just couldn't bear to see our man in such helpless condition. A hand enters the screen to take away the phone from him. He unwillingly gives him back the phone, wishing if he could talk to Khushi more or could tell her that he has been abducted. But things are impertinent for him in a gun point. A guy is pointing gun towards him. Arnav's face is taut, he looks helpless, but his ASR's signature conceited look is still there on his countenance. He is definitely the template for the confident man.

khushi is sauntering slowly across the hallway to her room. She is still in the trance of his confession.

"I love you Khushi" his words are echoing in her ear drum. She recollects, those indelible fadak padta hai moment, which are tethered in the realm of her mind's cauldron, now are gaining form and shape and voices and rising to the surface again.

So many times he showed her that he cares, but every time he inhibited himself to tell the final word.

"tumhari sagai ho gayi...you got engaged, why I don't know that" ... how indignant he was that he grabbed hold of her upper arm vehemently.

She retorted him angrily, "apko kya fadak padta hai."

"hume fadak padta hai, kiyuki..." the unfinished words, he finished today,

"agar uss ambulance mein tum hote to!" ...his spirit sinked when he couldn't find her on the night of havan. She again retaliated him

"apko kya fadak padta hai."

"kyuiki..." and he became mute again, couldn't express those suppressed feelings, that fadak padta hai, kiyuki I love you.

Since the diwali night, her mind has been whirling with a confusion, why he wanted to kiss her, where he was in relationship with another woman! Today she found the answer that he loves her. She doesn't know since when he has loved her.

She comes to her room, delighted as ever. But she becomes despondent again not to see him there. On the most precious day of her life she wishes to be with him. A sad note enters in the BG makes the moment more melancholic.

What if he is not present there in person, but his presence is always around her. The distance actually brought them even closer. Though physically they were distant, but emotionally they were adhered to each other.

A wind laden with love blows gently heralds his presence. The wind chime makes sweet noise, she is suddenly encompassed by a sensation of dj vu.. Her beautiful mind now transcends to the beautiful world of dream. Her Arnavji is here, lighting a candle incepting a new beginning of their life. khushi, clad in his favorite color red, slowly walks towards him. Though her outfit was weird, but I ignored the design, I only saw the color of love and the twinkle of love in her eyes.

After a long time, we saw a fresh scene of Arnav and Khsuhi. Barun was looking extremely tired and exhausted, but still he is irresistible. sanaya was looking as beautiful as always, even in that tent.

the-billli:Hotwa and Hotwi ;)

The romantic note of rabba vey makes the air fervent with passion. She slowly extends out her hand to him and he holds it with utmost care. Her expressive eyes, frames by fluttering coy curtains of eye lashes. His eyes look rueful, for hurting her so much, for not listening to her, for not giving her the chance to defend her, for so many sorrows what he gave her. But she doesn't want him to contrite. Because she knows how much he loves her. She keeps her fragile finger on his lips, silently telling him not to say a word, she wants to cherish the moment. He gestures with his eyes to look some thing. When her eyes follow his sight, her face luminesces with a sweet smile . in the semi dark room Barun's almost silhouetted profile was looking so magnificent! A chiaroscuro plays on their face.

the beautiful song plays in the BG to makes their romantic moment more enthralling.

aaogi jab tumho sajna, angna phool klilenge

barsega sawan jhoom jhoom ke

do dil aise mile"

What a perfect and wonderful song cvs chose to depict her state of mind. Any song played in IPK, it seemed the song belongs to Arnav and Khushi, not to the original cast.

khushi picks a small embroidered pouch and finds a pearl necklace there. I remember this is the same pouch where Khushi put the stars before attempting to suicide. Her heart exhilarates with enormous joy and feelings to get that pearl strings. She knows by giving her that pearl string, he wanted to give her dignity back what he tried to snatch away on their first meeting. He comes to her and puts it on her neck with so much love. She moves her hair aside to let him put it on. One day to hurt her he put her chosen necklace in Lavanya's neck like this. Today everything is different. There is no place of hate in their relationship anymore, what is left, is just unconditional and myriad love.

after letting him put the necklace khushi turns towards him and he moves close to her, wants to love her more intimately. And she steps back like always. This time she is not frightened of him, but she is demure in coy.

She runs away to the poolside. He smiles sweetly to see her coyness and chases her.

Running around by the poolside, definitely not ASR. but I found it real, as it was Khushi's dream, so had to be a little filmy shilmy. I just remembered ASR's dream! How sexily he made khushi dressed! And those intimate touches on her bare body! uff I'm getting ecstatic!

Arnav catches khushi and she let him muffle her in his embrace. She pants, burying her head in his chest. His heart also picks up its rhythm, matching her erratic one and beating in unison with hers. Her sweet smile is not leaving her face for a single moment.

He cups her beautiful face with his one rough hand and slowly lifts it. He gives her a bottle where the note "I love you" is inserted. Again his face becomes sad with compunction and she again nods her head not to feel any remorse.

The message of love is conveyed through a bottle! She gets it out and her whole countenance suffuses with immense joy. She looks up to see him, but he has already evanesced and she becomes gloomy again. Her heart squeezes with sudden realization that he is not here.

I was floating in cloud-9 to see their real romance for the first time.

My heart cringes painfully to see my man tied up so brutally. Still he is looking cute and sexy even in his disheveled state. He is struggling to come close to the phone what is laying on the table. His visage crumples when he tries hard, to get the phone. But he can't reach it. Moreover he is wilting for lack of food. His eyes are turbid and he looks emaciated. His lips curve as if he is trying to utter khushi. Oh man, his mind is only preoccupied with khushi's thought only. By uttering her name he was trying to get some courage I guess. His head droops back gradually and his eyes got shut.

I wish to throttle Shyam for torturing my man like this.

The scene was so intense, but I can't hold my laughter, because it was funny to watch. It's not difficult for a young adult man to move sitting on a chair. It would be more real if the chair would've anchored with a steady thing. Anyway again I ignore the blooper. I was just enjoying my man after a long time.

Whereas khushi can't cherish his I love you for longer, because a sudden fear assails her heart. She is in embroilment; her intuition is saying something wrong has happened to him. She can sense the sinister behind those three words. She calls at his number, but this time, the phone is switched off. It daunts her, she just talked to him a while ago, then how cum he is not answering the call? khushi calls Aman and apologizes to disturb him so late at night. aman doesn't know about any deal in Scotland. khushi's incredulity is increasing. She calls at the airport and finds out that there was no flight went from delhi to Scotnad on the day Arnav flied. She is cogitating, if Arnav flied to Scotland, then why he messaged that he reached London!

Arnav fainted because of low sugar I guess. Rocky and the rest of the goons get scared whether he died or not. One guy told him that the boss said his diabetes and if anything happens to him, the boss will kill them.

khushi is pacing back and forth by the poolside. she is trying to connect all the dots, Aman doesn't know anything about the Scotland deal, nor Akash knows; any flight went to Scotland from Delhi on that day. She is berating herself, why she didn't ask him those questions! She recollects his I love you again.

why suddenly he told me that thing...woh baat?"...khushi is shying to utter the word love or she is amateur in this love business, so the word love is not coming out from her mouth easily. or the word love is too precious for her to utter. She doubts about the way he talked to her, because he never talked so meekly with her. She remembers his accusation of being in relationship with shyam.

"you don't have a character"...his harsh words still echoes in her ear.

"jino ne mujhe itna rulaya, itni taklef di...the man who made me cry so much, gave me so much pain...didn't give me a chance to prove my innocence, is now saying, "I love you"! How could he say such a big thing so easily! zaroor woh koi mushkil mei hai...sure he is in some kind of problem. If everything would've fine, he couldn't tell me such thing so easily. Is he in danger? Whether he was trying to say me something?"

She is almost sure that he is in some kind of peril.

Loved to see her as a cognizant woman. After all she is Mrs.ASR, so she has to be intelligent. But still I'm mad at her for doing everything alone. she should tell somebody about her suspicion. And who could be the better person than Akash to help her. This is very sad that the cvs literally ignored Akash's character. He is a decent actor. Don't know why cvs didn't use him properly!

While khushi was in anxiety for her husband, Payal is trying hard to please her husband. She serves breakfast for him in the yard. But Akash is so busy that he doesn't have time to have breakfast, nor has time to talk to her properly. payal gets upset, what doesn't go unnoticed by nani. She comes to alleviate her mood and says, as chottey is not here, Akash became busy. When chottey will return, everything will be alright again. nani plans for a dinner date for Payal and Akash and commands to obey her plan. She mockingly says him that he is not eating because of the business pressure but Paayl is losing weight because of him. How Akash refute to his martinet's dadi's command! nani passes over the phone to Payal. akash starts to make excuse of work. payal also agrees not to go. But Akash actually played a prank; he wants to take Payal for a dinner date.

How sweet in laws are the Raizadas! how much they are concern about their DILs happiness! I love it when nani called Payal "Payaliya."

khuhsi comes to the police station to file a report. The police officer asks her how she knows that her husband is in danger. khushi replies, because he told her that he loves her. The police officer doesn't take her words seriously and laughs instead. He banters, "gumshuda prem kahani." though they didn't ponder her thought but wants to come to her house for investigation. khushi thinks it won't be safe and if the press comes to know about this matter, can be dangerous for Arnav. she can't take the risk and decides not to complain to police..

It was sure a refreshing episode. I think the cvs took extra care as the man returned for a day. After all he is the heart of the show and most important and crafted character of IPK.

Indu, what a mindblowing poem. This is truly awesome. Filling a line full of stars, but actually this poem deserves much much more.

⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️

Loved all that above in pink. Bold pink I loved much more. Pink bold underlined, I am speechless, brilliant writing. My most favourite lines are the ones in the bigger font.

Pray, please, I earnestly plead, put this poem on the main forum, it deserves a dekko by each IPK pagal. 😃

p.s. Forgot to add, that's a beautiful edit up there. 😃

Durga, thanks a lot for taking time to read. Very touched by your comments. Truly means a lot. I thoroughly enjoyed writing a bit for the three very important sequences of theirs in the same piece.
Humbled by all those stars. but you know in my case all those stars belong only and only to the Writers, actors, directors who portrayed this artistic perfection on screen that provided a great inspiration.
Thanks for that suggestion. Will post.
Thanks a lot durga.

Not able to quote from my iphone - format goes crazy!

Loved, loved your poem! After a long time - it was a treat to read it..
So beautifully, so gracefully expressed ...

'Her fulcrum' - how true - ever since she met him, her whole world ... All her thoughts constantly revolve around him ... She is either complaining about him to her family, or praying to Devi maiyya to protect her from him or teach him a lesson, dreams about ways to get even with him, sneaks around testing probable causes for her dhak dhak or plots to take revenge ...
Fulcrum - the point around which her universe revolved - her sun, blazing most times but instead of burning, she glowed like burnished gold and thrived in the heat of his intense love.

'Into his frozen dew drop
storms in her beaming ray
a rainbow gleams
as darkness dispelled away'

These lines ... Soul stirring ... The imagery of this, the meaning these words convey ... I dont have words to convey what i feel!

Thank you for penning this poem - makes their hug all the more special!

Inspired, , thanks a lot for taking time to read and comment inspite of your busy schedule.

Fulcrum some how has been one of my fav words ever since I heard that first time in high school physics many years ago. It seem to have found a safe abode finally in asr - khuhsi love story! The beauty of the hospital hug is haunting.. a book can be written just for that..From his whispered call to her to how her soft steps take off with those gentle notes to reaching crescendo when she liteally rams into him..please dont banish me into a luny bin.. or may be I am already in.:). but that shot of his hands mid air should be celebrated like a Monalisa!
I am very glad you liked that symbolism.
Thank you inspired. for coming and appreciating.
