Here is the original phone add from which I took the song..

Khushi, I Love you.

Kidnapped

There is an air of confusion, worry and sadness in the Raizada Mansion; it is felt by everyone especially Di and Khushi.

Where is he?

It's the time of year, which brings this depression to the entire Raizada household; the time of celebrating the birthday of their mother who is no more.

The air is heavy and they have followed certain traditions that have been set for this occasion and Arnav leaves, he can't take part in it.

He must be alone...to suffer in silence.

His working trip to London was perfect opportunity to leave this depressive place.

There are memories that you can't hide from and that travel with you no matter where you go, but still he runs.

Khushi has tried to stop him knowing that even though this timing may be wrong she insists he must know her truth. She wants her husband to have all faith in her; she is innocent of her crime.

He wants to believe her so he returns to hear her confession but

To no avail and with a painful farewell, he leaves to go to London or so we think.

A wife's intuition says something is wrong she feels it to the depths of her soul. She received a text but something just doesn't feel right.

The Raizada household's air is so thick with the worry that exudes from the pores of his wife and a pregnant Di.

A lie helps to mask the truth and Di finally succumbs to relief.

But it doesn't last long when a rotund eavesdropper overhears and during his confused version of revelation to his sister, Di overhears that her Chote has not reached London.

Hyperventilation, tears and a pregnant woman causes chaos and they all under the direction of Akhash Bhai bring Anjali to her room.

The room is filled with questions...where is he? How come he hasn't contacted her? He knows she worries. He has deviated from his normal routine.

They must call the Police.

An evil deviant BIL hears this and slowly backs out of the room.

Akash makes the call to the Police and then...

The phone rings.

Who is calling so late?

Anjali answers and you see her worried look and fretting position go to sitting straight up hearing her Chote's voice.

"Chote?"

A disheveled Arnav says all is well and explains that the deal changed and now he is in Scotland. He speaks with all the family where he is reprimanded and asked to bring home gifts. When he speaks to his brother, Akash, he lets him know he will let him in on all the details of the secret deal later on. He also tells him that his reception is poor where he is and may not be in touch and he asks him to take care of his wife and sister.

Akash says to Arnav speak to Khushi.

Arnav's eyes widen a bit, what will he say? Hers are a little tentative almost asking does he really want to speak with me?

They left in an awkward situation and an incomplete revelation of truth.

She walks away from the family, a little more private, places the phone on her ear and he swallows as he waits to hear her voice.

Her eyes brim with tears and he knows she won't say anything.

He knows what he must do.

"Khushi?" Her eyes widen, how did he know she was already on the other end of the phone? He just knows. He gently spoke her name and that was all it took for the tears to fall. Her breathing labored by the pain she feels. She reaches to hold the phone with her another hand too, as if hugging the phone is holding him tight.

He answers her quietness with his affirmation of being fine; he is alright. He says to her, "Please don't cry." And as she cradles the phone tightly, a little ASR comes out when he firmly states, "Khushi, bas, enough, just stop. Khushi, stop crying."

Still no words from her, just tears and he knows he must tell her,

who knows what will happen?

"Khushi, Khushi mein...Khushi mein woh.."

She tightens her grip on the phone.

"Khushi, I love you!"

Her eyes go wide, tears fall and he looks relieved as he waits for her response. His face softened, his look not so tense almost cathartic these words for him. No longer the stone cold heart but a heart that has allowed the ice to melt and feel his emotions. His situation was dangerous but nothing more dangerous to him then his love for Khushi.

He had freed himself from the bondage of pain and fell in love.

Now he had to free himself from the ropes which bound him to the chair and the revolver aimed at his head.

He's been Kidnapped.

****

Those Last Words

If your life was turned upside down, taken from your normal routine, disrupted and thrown into a world of darkness what would be your last words?

Those last words?

If you didn't know whether you would live or die, what words would you say?

Those last words?

Would you rehash old memories and harbor ill feelings or would you follow your heart and intuition?

Those last words?

Would every memory be cherished and the stone cold heart melt away?

Those last words?

Would everything you felt inside, all the hurt and pain you longed to disappear, would you set it free?

Those last words?

Would the truth that was revealed through her eyes be accepted?

Those last words?

Her presence felt through the receiver, she says no words, but you know she is there. "Khushi."

Those last words?

Tears streaming down her face, you know it and feel her pain.

Those last words?

You reassure her you are fine, stop crying, small talk.

Your pain united.

Your hearts united.

Those last words?

Tied and bound, revolver at your head, is this what it takes to say

Those last words?

"Khushi, I love you."

Cynthia really good one👏

That underlined ,yes nothing is more dangerous than losing his love and he wants to rope that and wants to remain roped in it no matter what.

His control , over himself delivering peace is my grabber, how an early age he has learned this act to just deliver his sister and family what is going to ease them and now Khushi whois his life , how can he diminish that light ...he knows he did something which is going to keep her in convulsion state but delivering these words might give her life and she will keep that rope of hope in her hand ..

Lovely

I love Mamiji too, she did give him hope while talking about perfume...yes Khushboo of love she is asking him to bring...from Scotland...Lovely touch there.
His control over his fears and the situation is my grabber as I said in my piece..way too much , he is giving hope to everyone but he is not going down easily either...

Barun and Sanaya are brilliant in this scene...

okay this is how stupid i am, i listen to this song every day, it's in my phone, it blares while i write and do forum stuff... of course it is atif aslam, yet when i am hearing it over your vm, i am thinking (yeah in the present continuous and in that very indian english construction) ah nice song, where is it from, i have heard it before... wonder where?

this edge of lunacy in me... worrying 😆

okay qustioniya: how did you turn the visual monochromatic... should i look at drop down menu for extra colour options?

The following 1-2 minutes are filled with so much raw and reality it cuts to the core of every person following this beautiful love story...even a person flipping through the channels accidentally coming upon this scene would pause and have to finish watching the scene. this was their specialty, their magic, you forget where the actors begin and Arnav and Khushi end. The actors were probably on the phone with someone on the set reciting their co-actor's lines but who am i to spoil this grand moment? Its just that, that's how incredibly good they were, both of them.

I have been struggling for time, because i'm one of those people that need inspiration and time to pen anything worth reading together, thanks to these two i found some YAY😆

As she fell into his arms as Sheesh Mehel, there were fireworks in the background, a sign of whats to come perhaps?

Their explosive fight, every loud struggle against farq, through all the tender colorful Rabba ve's, the excruciating painful burns that extremes of a windy night and finally after bringing forth the truth behind it, the ultimate realization hit both of them.

Khushi wants nothing more that to hold on to that dhaga (Thread) and Arnav has learned just how much "taqleef" his heart feels while going far away from her. It all has come down to this moment.

All a part of the villian's plan to keep the cops away, and these two apart...but like always, Shyaam once again helps take their relationship to the next level...sucker.

ASR is successful in putting Di, Nani, Mamiji and Akash at ease...He is in Scotland not London and noone not even Aman knows about this deal. he tells Akash. his last words to Akash with all his trust

"Di Ka aur (a pause) Khushi ka khayaal rakhna"

uff that pause in red between Di and Khu-Khushi speaks volumes. Di is ofcourse Di but Khushi, despite what he saw that night on the terrace has managed to capture a place in his heart that can only be hers. The Taqleef is back in that pause, the thought of never seeing her again, he has trouble saying her name.

Akaash takes on the responsibility, thinking for a couple of days like the good brother he is

"achha bhai Khushiji se baat kijiye," Ok bhai, talk to Khushiji"

Oh how the scene is taken up by a 1000 notches

A strong "Rabba ve",

a slight change in his eye direction...a slew of emotions that not a room full of people and a phone line between them could hide.

With nothing but honesty, sometime brutal, in his bones, it was hard but he had managed to white lie to his Di, Nani, Maamiji and Akaash...but to Khushi? what will he say? it's not even about making her believe he is ok...but the thought of never seeing her, we see him in a completely different light. In fact the ASR dimaag stops here and his heart completely takes over...he doesn't know what will happen to him

She grabs the phone and slowly walks away from the family, such a natural thing to do of a wife.

He has to start out by uttering her name "Khushi"...everytime he says it dammit, its so special. His entire being seems to achieve some sort of peace. sukoon.

With her name on his lips, their connection is intensified by the wind Gods ... the mehsoos...she starts to shed tears silently but when has their mehsoos needed any sound?

Surely he thought about her countless efforts to prove her innocense. he must finally believe that her love for him is real.

He feels those tears on his heart thousands of times over. oh he needs her to stop. completely off guard and so vulnerable he is now

"Kh..."

a pause while she grabs the phone by both hands and sobs some more

He musters up the courage to tell her what he needs her to believe

"Khushi, i'm fine mien teek hoon ok?" he tries so hard to be that aggressive man that scolds her like child...but

"Please mat ro" (Please don't cry) ... almost whispering he pleads to her

"Rabba ve" seeps in...the slow sad one

"Khushi Bas"..."Stop" ... have we seen anything so so sweet?

he can still feel them rolling off her eyes

"khushi rona band karo" (khushi stop crying)

He is aware his pleads are to no avail but time was running out...there was something he has to tell her

For some reason, those words he uttered on stage , at the mere thought of losing her, never seeing her comes to mind.

Jab jo bhura kiya uska koi matlab nahi, jab jo bhura kaha uska koi matlab nahi.

Only difference is here its very much more than a thought that he may never see her again. Nothing else mattered, and Sobti emoted that so well without using those words.

"Khushi mein tum..."

a bit more of that holding back but at last eyes focused and determination on his face

Out come little but powerful words

"Khushi, I love you"

said in perfect pitch in a husky half whisper

He can still feel her crying but this time it was tears of joy. He exhaled the most gorgeous exhale like the world of off his shoulders, a slight smile and an ever so gentle blinking of the eyes indicating his emotional state.

Time stood still, felt like a moment on another universe. ASR confessed that he loved his Khushi. He needed her to know . Nothing else matters. It felt so pure coming out of his mouth, then again such is his love for her.

Bravo Sobti, BRAVO...every micro-expression here, every tiny eye movement, that bit of quivering lip, the body language was perfection!

Great to see you ami. Your last piece here teri meri (?) comes to mind..you narrated the tiny micro emotions involved here so effortlessly.. feels like old times seeing/ reading you here..beautiful piece..

Couldn't take eyes off of that first red.. the actors didn't even seem to exist while they donned asr and khushi..the fine line very much blurred.. made us stroll and rock in that SKD for ever with all the perfect emotions portrayed.. hard NOT to fall in love...

the pause and taqleef.. you are so right.. so much conveyed there.. its the first time he officially acknowledged the importance of these two women for him on the same scale..he almost fathered his Di most of the last decade or so...easy to hide his status from her.. but khushi.. the one who he has seen last seen crying relentlessly for him at that airport.. his soul mate.. what would he say to her.. the man of conscience can't lie to his soul..

yes those words on that stage come to mind... he never really meant to hurt her.. and she almost always seem to know that..she waited to hear/ feel that love so painstakingly all these months.. you know even if he hadn't said anything.. and just felt her tears over the airwaves literally.. . she would have still sensed it.. but some where he needed to give a "form" to this emotional upheaval he has been in since months .. so did she need to hear..

the last purple words.. gems..

Lovely collages. and great work all around ami...

Their explosive fight, every loud struggle against farq, through all the tender colorful Rabba ve's, the excruciating painful burns that extremes of a windy night and finally after bringing forth the truth behind it, the ultimate realization hit both of them.

That denial of Fadak has left the door and the realization of not living without each other is slipping in...at this point who is right and who is wrong has no meaning...

Khushi wants nothing more that to hold on to that dhaga (Thread) and Arnav has learned just how much "taqleef" his heart feels while going far away from her. It all has come down to this moment.

Yes TAQLEEF, AS HE was unable to stop himself from hurting her and now that hurt and this that he didn't listen to her .Now the fear that he won't be able to see her again is taking a new shape in him...to say which he wanted to say a long time back...the dreadful night is over.
