I have been obsessing the whole day about raw emotions hurtling out in the open.. and then thanks to the pic shared today, the effect when someone wears the color red.. took me right back to this night..

So this epi was your first? wow. the first episode of the show i ever watched...except my reasons for diving in then were oh so divine and shallow...simply put, the white shirt, the stubble, and all that Raizada-ness. So much packed in this episode. I call it the unraveling or the explosion of emotions, The beginning of the honesty of the love which had started with a moment of intoxication on bhang and now the actual reason of why he married her. That Khushi has no words to rebut his accusation flawed me. I was sure that Kushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada would most certainly lash out at him but no... her pride, her beliefs, morals, her insult was too great. Such a misunderstanding, well done by the creators.
Yes, he knew something wasn't right but the story had to unfold...

Yes, KKG got me there too. At first, i was upset...maudlin OTT i mistook her reaction for. Lash out NOW!, i was screaming inside cos i certainly would have in her place, or gone completely mute. But by the time she said her goodbyes, i was had by the girl.

And his reactions were impeccable, weren't they? The way he slammed the boot of the car reacting to her "he likes me talkative" to her mother's astuteness... that look on his face, simmering with anger. Subtly so. Pressure cooker on the make.

The look on his face in both shots, so genuine the feeling there... it's like real life, it feels that "unaffected" to me. And even with his back to cam, you can tell what's going on in that head and heart. The tautness of body betrays him, the strain telling.

Bas karni hai ek baar phir... a different kind of Baat... even though all roads are waiting to get to the very same spot: an admission of his love for her...and a knowing that it shall be reciprocated.
