We haven't exactly restricted everyone. We are just attempting to make the forum more organized.

How shall we know that a new picture is posted on the twitter celeb page if the title is not updated every time a new picture is posted? I would like to suggest that the title should be updated with the date of posting the picture. Also an index is a must. Having said that, I still believe its better to let the members post the twitter updates on separate threads as and when they are available. If there are multiple posts on the same topic, all other posts leaving the first one should be closed. A single thread on all twitter updates will be messy and cumbersome.

The opening of the official GOTW thread has reduced the activity of the forum. Not everyone likes to play the same game. Its sad but the truth is the forum has become boring. What's the point in opening an official GOTW if it can't provide the fun? It was much better when there was no GOTW. Playing the games here in this forum and playing them in the forum games is not the same. I feel it restricts the freedom of the members of IPKKND forum. Please rethink the decision and allow the game threads. Not interested in an official GOTW. A poll should be conducted to see what the majority of the forum members want.

Sorry to say but the forum feels more like a jail nowadays with members' activities being restricted to such an extent. The rules were there before too but why become so strict all of a sudden? Shouldn't the rules be a little bit flexible? Its afterall a discussion forum

Last one for now.. Regarding d newsletter thread of d week. It can be bring up with another version without putting a summary of d week. In creation gallery der a many awesome graphic makers n dey should be rewarded so goes to many OS writers n fics wic are increasing this days. No offence to another fan base but a truth is truth Arshi new/old writer still rocking even though d show end year back. This way will encourage them to write more. The thread will be simple one n it won't take much time to create. We can divide d work..

I've answered above about the games.

About the Jalebi Bai of the Week, if someone wants to take responsibility for it, we'd be glad to bring it back. It's just that Shreya and I can't handle too much, but if a member who will be responsible enough to take care of it, can take it.

ArHi fanbase is the largest, and that's a fact that everyone accepts, I believe. If they don't well, then we can't say much. 😆 But umm...about the creativity part, how about the DT merges that with the Jalebi Bai part for each month, would that be good?

So, the DT could think about this; Creativity (Signatures, Avatars, VMs, FF's, OS', SS) and the Jalebi Bai part in one post where the members can ask as many questions as they want to the member who is is in fact on the hot seat. Does that sound okay to you?

In regards to the two above;

1) Spamming:

We do not ALLOW spamming at all. It has been listed in the rules since the beginning of the forum that no spamming is allowed. In threads or otherwise. It is not a game to increase posts. There is the Chat Clubs forum for a reason. You can open up a thread there and discuss everything that needs to be discussed. Secondly, I see that the FF DT and that forum is being brought in here. Lemme inform you all that when the FF DT takes an action, that is THEIR action. We do not have a say in it. IPKKND issues are discussed in there because the same FF rules apply in every forum so the complaints thread that exists is for all forums FF/OS/SS to be discussed in there. But FF issues will NOT be entertained here. Whatever happened with another members story in that forum is that forum's headache, not this forums. That's putting it in the simplest ways.

2) GOTWs:

Sorry, but NO other games will be allowed. There is no competition going on in regards to increasing pages of a forum. If there is actual discussion, we want you all to discuss it, we have no issues with it. You can open up threads everyday for an episode that had aired on that day and discuss it all you want. But no games will be allowed to use as a pawn to increase pages.

Secondly, as we had said before, there is a Forum Games where ALL the games can be played, so please take all the games there.

And I did read that many had said that this is a recent change, but no the rule was just overlooked by the DT because there was no actual game running that was taken as an initiative for the week, so we had allowed games. But once members take permission for GOTW, then we will close down all other threads if they're about the same thing.

Also, if one says that sometimes not everyone wants to play the same game, I agree, which is when you can turn to Preet.Kc and give her a suggestion. I'm only naming Preet here because she was the ONLY member who had turned to the DT and asked us to start GOTW. That does NOT mean that you all bash her now because she's the reason the other game threads are being closed. DT had taken the decision to close down threads the same week and we were to put up a notice about it but Preet PMed us and all worked out that way,

The rule has existed since September 10th, 2012 which reads as follows:

18. Organizing Contest/Activities: You can not post Contests/Activities/Games/ Appreciation-FanThreads without prior approval from the moderators.

No permissions were taken, none were given so if the DT had allowed it for a course of several months, it does not mean that they will be allowed always. The DT apologizes for not taking action on this earlier, but that just seems fair to do now.


Now, if there is anything else the members would like to ask, we'd be glad to answer. But please don't keep asking us about the same issues that Shreya or I have answered. Because this is a chat thread not a thread where you can try and demean and insult the DT members. We're not paid for this, we only demand a little respect because many seem to forget that we're members of this forum just like you all are. We just have a little more power which does nothing but puts us right below you guys, because we function in the way you all want us to. So, if any of us says that the thread will not be allowed, it is not because we're bias or rude but because the rules exist, we're only the ones to implement them.

Few months back a member was serching for a FF and made the thread, but it was closed stating that the thread can be made in Members Lounge.

That time only I came to know there is Members Lounge. How many of us visit ML, very few i guess

After the show ended most of the members are coming to IPK forum mostly to read the fictions, is there possibility of having inquires thread (sticked) exclucisivley for fictions?

PS: Yes there is help desk, I have seen several members inquires regarding FF/SS/OS werent answered.
