For the topics that are getting merged, why can't the forum have different discussions about the same topic? There are so many people with different demographics: male and female, teenagers and mature women, married and unmarried, with and without children and so on...

People are of accepting of things based on experience. For example, in the show, some people thought that Arnav was a virgin and others thought he was experienced and was with Lavanya. The clear divide came from people's own perspective and backgrounds. But to each his own. Can we not have parallel topics where people have discussions based on their experiences? Why create tension between members?
