I never realized how close Arnav and Lavanya had become

I just watched the episode when Lavanya was leaving, and I couldn't help but remember how Khushi saw them together in each other's arms so many times. In the beginning in his office, later in the house, when they got engaged and so on.

Arnav shared a very cordial relationship with la n Sheetal... He was never overly friendly with either of them... during the relationship with la , Khushi too felt jealous / insecure with the former's closeness with one another...

Arnav is a very closed off person n very insecure of his budding feelings for Khushi n misunderstood her with Shyam... V knw that blasted m.u which created such a havoc... Her friendly nature with Nk too irked him to a great extent...

wot iam trying to say is both Arnav n Khushi were insecure with their feelings towards one another n to avoid their growing feelings towards one another they hv taken a route.. One to demean her n make her blurt out the feelings n the other to irritate the hell out of him... N when they were tryin to accept their new found feelings , the mishap occured which has brought everything to the start... So acc to me it wasn't double standards by either of them ... Arnav nvr had an objection with the close relationship which NK n Khushi shares cuz he understood the genuinity of their relationship...

well ... I tried to dissect something out of something... M nt sure whether i cud clear ur m.u but i hope u did !! :)) :))

i was thinking about this too funnily enough while i was watching those rerun episodes. but i was wondering if arnav would have had a problem if khushi had been in a proper relationship before she ever met him. and i think he wouldn't have, everything that happened before they met is meant nothing but everything after is all a big no! so yes, jealous of her fiancee, jealous of nk, mental about shyam, not liking those mrs india people all over her - arnav will always be like that. but no double standard i feel. the way he thinks of khushi is a million miles away from the relationships he's had in the past, she's above everything else, even himself. he's just damn lucky that he doesn't have a male version of la or sheetal from khushi's past to actually contend with, he wouldn't blame her or hold it against her but i can imagine him being jealous as hell.

yes arnav was cordial with his ex girlfriends cauz for him dey were never his love , dey were just sum1 who he can tag around wid whom he never hav to share his feelings , who were too busy wid demselves to bother arnav wid his feeling n griefs.

Arnav did maintain a good rapport with his ex-girlfriends. Their was a certain level of closeness showed with la. But that was needed for the show. Even during the final stages with the breakup with la or after, he always respected n that was shown beautifully. The intimacy was shown to intimidate Khushi but her nonchalant behaviour definitely irked him n so he wud revert to getting more involved with la to prevent his unwanted feelings. Sheetal was a completely different story. They don't seem to be in a deep relationship as he was with la but nonetheless she was a probable past fling. The insecurities came once Khushi came into his life. The more important she became for him the more possessive he got about her n wanted her solely to himself. Be it either with Shyam or NK. I found their bankyalal conversation hilarious. He obviously took it sportive. But how much he bought her made up story, I m not sure. Her bluff was totally evident. N I guess by then he would understand n know his wife inside out.

A trait of a good guy is that when a girl tells you she loves you, you respect and appreciate that and that was exactly what Arnav was doing to La. I am glad the creatives showed them being in contact after she had left because it really proved that despite all the pain he was causing Khushi he was still a good guy at heart.

Khushi cud the not show it but arnav was particularly jealous of nk coz nk was friendly n cud talk to khushi and arnav felt insecure coz he felt nk will take khushi away.lolz...

And it didn't seem like Lavanya continued that close friendship with Khushi afterwards. In fact, I think Khushi was surprised that Arnav and Lavanya still talked to each other. Granted at that time, Arnav was upset with Khushi, but was he allowing himself to take comfort with Lavanya knowing she still may harbor feelings for him.

Nor did I understand how comfortable he felt with Sheetal. It wasn't until Khushi started asking what kind of relationship they shared that he wondered if she felt uncomfortable and even then he maintained close proximity to her (basketball and all). I understand he will say meant nothing, but they did at some point. Was he really that clueless to know that Lavanya had feelings for him, and maybe Sheetal did too?
