What a year this has been! It started on a slight gloomy note as IPK had shut down. But BFTP had started by then, giving us a faint hope to relive and romance IPK for some more time. While we waited the whole year for a certain movie to release, a wonderful group of blasters formed meanwhile who full on plunged into, dived, drenched, drowned, sprinkled and engulfed in the magic called IPK.

We've been with each other in good times, sad times, anxious moments, sickness, celebrations, festivals, birthdays, anniversaries, travels, etc. and shared and revelled in the utter craziness of a silly tv show. As we reach the threshold of 2013, a look back at the year gone by, makes me emotional. Thanks to all of you, these months have just flown by.

The coming year, 2014 gives us hope of the comeback of the boy on screen, a promising new show for the girl and a hope to bring the blasters even closer. May the new year bring happiness, prosperity, goodwill and bring success to all ventures to the blasters, our favourite actors and everyone else.

Have a rocking new year bash everyone. 😊

sohara... i had no issues with the la thing. i felt it was how things often are. and la in a way knew the score. which is why after that dulhan act he was furious... but she went off at a tangent, having been made to "realise" by kkg that marriage was the thing... um again, i will take it from kkg, not from too many others, this interference.

and sohara, i just saw rang rasiya and laughed out loud. so he has a problem with an errant parent, this time mother. she is sweet and innocent and gutsy and loves sour things, also plays with a butterfly that she has named... an evolution on theme titaliya, their first meeting is cataclysmic. he walks forward, she backward... c'mon i have never seen this before, have i?

did not feel curious about the show. did not like sanaya's bare all look. of course, she spoke to a camel... that is now routine fare. 😆 the fire all around her, pretty unnecessary... give me a snapped pearl string any day.

my pov is simple. he is an actor on contract with his employers, not with me. if his employers give the go ahead he will say, if not, he won't. he may have been asked to not say a thing.

secondly... and most importantly for me... i believe him when he says, he did not ask to leave. he asked for time to go away for a bit.

the working hours and environment of this production house and many others are terrible. actors are forever falling sick. main sadness, no one cares.

i do not trust gul. she is an incompetent manager who blames others when she fails.

she has trouble with all her lead actors... gurmeet... barun, now her blue eyed boy, karan singh grover.

zee was used by gul i get the feeling. gul wanted to end ipk and get onto qh. now she has some new thing on with sony or someone and suddenly qh is in trouble.

actually a month or so ago i read ksg was leaving qh.

then ksg categorically denied it.

now this.

why do i get the feeling the lack of professionalism lies not in the actors but in the producers.

but again i repeat, i as an employee of a company am not required to tell the whole world what my future plans within that relationship are.

as far as i am concerned, it was for gul to announce the departure and manage her show.

ekta does this routinely.

on rishta, main leads ahve been given long breaks too.

we all believe what we choose to believe. but certain things apply to all of us. i know of millions of people who when retrenched from their companies do not go and say it in so many words. it is their right not to.

barun signed up till february.

he was brilliant and totally committed to only ipk till then.

if ph wanted to retain him, it was their job to make the terms work... pay wise, work wise. the onus was on them. instead a whole lot of hoo ha over giving barun time off... note how sakshi tanwar's leave or whatever was managed by another producer, this is commonplace. nothing to get crazy about.

and then the butchering of characters... story.

i was looking at one of faiqa's takes and suddenly realised what a massacre that marriage forced by sp was.

i believe, it is for production hoses to work with channels, to convince them of story of what workd what just won't. if sp has a policy of showing marriage within six months of romance starting, why wasn't the producer aware of it and why was it not worked in till the last minute? and barun did not go to shoot mamr on a day's notice... so why that ridiculous kidnap non story?

i am not saying barun is an angel. in fact, i hope he ain't. 😉 but managing talent is an art produces have... or ought to have. if an actor is not going to be temperamental, who will? secondly, as far as this issue goes, i am with our sexy boy all the way. bas.

unprofessional is the producer. not each and every actor. and if they want to work with people who just stick to rules and do nine to five and never have a problem, they should go for something more placid (even there there are challenges), not the volatile world of media and entertainment.

we blasters became so close to each other in one year that it seems like we all know each other for ages and we are like a family.
