Adhering to the strict rules of their "No baat" pact, he stoically leads to the left, she mirrors, she glides to the right, he follows, he rolls his eyes, she ignores, she suggests to the right, he agrees. He concludes with a graceless, ungentlemanly flourish into her, twirling her and stalks off the dance floor ... She huffs her chagrin ...

That was the message as from now on their directions will be the same no matter what happens from now on.

The phone had rung, almost terrified it will be him, she had hesitatingly answered. It was his man Firday. A meeting has been unavoidably pre-poned, ASR sir was unreachable, could she please do the honors and inform him of the change in timing ?

Nooo, she couldn't, she had wailed ... What should she say ... I can't because we have a pact, and according to this pact, we are allowed to see each other, but not allowed talk ... coz your Sir is a brilliant strategist and given our history of verbal escalations, this is the best he could come up with at short notice. 😆

He and his banana ideas in anger

A quandry like no other ... An urgent sandesh to deliver and a ridiculous, childish, gagging accord holdng her hostage ... Abb kay karay ... she chew, and plunges headlong into a hastily devised plan.

She throws herself inelegantly into his path, surprising him, and for her effort, right at the onset of her theatrics, is awarded an annoyed, What the ... !!

Hold on, she signals ... And then proceeds to persuasively mime through Aman's message. He arms flailing, her eyes begging, her lips pursed, least she utter a pact reneging sound ... She dramatizes a meeting, she impersonates a clock, she signals a delay ... but our man is not impressed ... His brows raised quizzically, he watches her with a suspect skepticism ... Has she finally lost her marbles ? She must have been the kid everyone wanted on their team and he must have been the one who stood at the sidelines and scoffed at the inaneness of the game. He either does not know how this game is played or is knowingly being obtuse.

BUT he stayed , right to watch every step of her,and that is the message ...he had her playing at his tunes as this is the first step towards making her deliver this message that she needs him just like he does.

The women, are divided ... Camps firmly entrenched. Anjali bitiya, Gabbar and Thakur on one side and the clueless Manorama Mami on one ... The objective, to dupe and hold gullible Chamkili captive ... The trap is laid ... An education in Ramcharitramanas ... But there is some confusion about who actually needs this education ...

She hurriedly scribbles a note informing him of the rescheduling of his meeting and hastily instructs Hari Parkash to deliver it to him, as she is being dragged upstairs by an impatient Lavanya.

Hari Parkash hands him the Ramcharitramanas, and delivers her sandesh. Khushiji had said, reading this was urgent and of utmost importance for him. He stares at the book ... Ramcharitramanas ?!? Meray liya ?? He interrogates incredulously, his brain at a complete loss ... She wants him to read this. Kuon? He questions a clueless Hari Parkash. Pooch kar baatay ? Hari offers. Oh shut up! He dismisses ... This girl ! He has had enough !

Again Hari took the message..for his guidance...pooch keh bataoon...he wants his confirmation too...That was funny too

So ... she thinks he needs an refresher course in how to be a ideal man !!! A Maryada purush ... A just, gentle, kind, benevolent Man ... What utter crap !!! Maybe he should send her a leather bound, early edition copy of Taming of the shrew. That"ll teach her not to send him anymore of her inane sandeshes !!!

A shameless charlatan flaunts his nefarious deeds openly, with aplomb, with breathtaking conceit. He knows the weak woman wrapped in his arms does not, even in her nightmares, assign this kind of duplicity to his behavior. She had asked him, are you hiding something from me ? Aap humsay chupa kar kuch kar rahay hai. He had looked directly into her eyes and answered, Dusari shaddi. She had pathetically begged him, never ever to tease her such. Even then, he had smugly sneered, that even when he tells her the truth, she does not believe him ! What is he to do ?

be her chirpy self...ASR hasnt made any DEAL to stop her from
doing her crazy antics. probably he is already thriving on her charm
(remember when she narrated goonda fighting scene to Arnav in Aarav kidnapping, how he got lost completely).

Dammit why is he giving her time/attention to understand what she is trying to convey. "koi farak nahi padta" and "doesnt mean a thing" but still so much yearning in his look ... and Khushi ...he stopped you not to talk to him not the entire family...lovelost girl doesnt realise that HP or la anyone can convey the msg..but unknowingly her submission to his existence doesnt let her to share any of her responsibilities towards him with anyone ( like your dots...in kidnapping she didnt share anything coz he was hers and she cant trust anyone more than herself )

Honestly, I never really enjoyed this mime act of Khushi. I was mad at the directors that time. It looked too childish for a girl who has been just hurt to NO end by this man and then gets engaged against her will and wish just to appease every one. Being positive is one thing, a boon for one and all, but being theatric at a real somber time (or so I felt as it was that phase for me as some one who loved both these) didn't at all suit.

But now after all these watches, I am enjoying the humor behind.. the penchant of IPK makers.. some thing that attracted me as well immensely as much as if not more than the romance.

Noisy Charade

Loved ... The title ... And lovelier introduction ... Indeed a lull before the storm .. Even in her silence she is more talkative than he will ever be ... Panch minute tak chup rah sakti ho ... He know his this must be killing her ... Love the scene ...

Their silent yet noisy charade has started among them which will settle down some unsaid emotions which both are seeking in each others yet acknowledging them is as hard as could be.Silence speaks with volume sometimes as this epi is holding one for upcoming storm.

Later Anjali found out the Jewelry shop receipt in his pocket during Laundry routines.He snatches it away and turns around.The moment which grabbed my attention is he was testing her for the other day when she saw him red handed with that lady giving him money back but didn't say anything.He told her after her inquiry that he is going to get marry but without telling her. at the top her reaction while hugging him is reflecting her blindness as she knows but does not want to acknowledge it,have no courage or faith to accept it.His Faith got stronger that he can get away from her all the time as "hum sach bhi bolain tou bhi aap hum par vishwas nahin kartin"[even if I tell the truth you don't believe me].what a pitty on both of em.Today his repulsive and sickening actions are make me noisome.

He is bold ... Knows his wife is weak ... That is why he will challenge Arnav to tell his Di ... Coz he has full confidence ... She will stand by him ...

Mamiji and her strange Dal is giving her indigestion while searching the right answer of calling Khushi in RM as she does not want her here at all but other three ladies are doing their best to bring her in the RM.

Pora menu hi badal gai hai ... If only she knew how right she is ... Dal toh do bar badli hai ...

I adored the scene of Arnav and Khushi ,Arnav opened the door and here is she but unlike last time when she was praying to DM for not seeing him and he fulfilled her wish

these little little things make a scene so special ...

,this time they are standing facing each other like they are ready to talk again but then they both remember their new deal.They both try to slip away through side ways but each time their direction is same.[good no matter what they will be together]Arnav leaves by bumping into her leaving her with signature "O" on her face but she is trailing him this time.

I will follow you ... That's what this dance seemed like to me ...

PONDERING CONNECTED DOTS:Today's frustration of him will be his urge to bring a smile on her face ,after kidnapping"bas yehi tou mein chahta tha keh eik bar tumhare chre par smile aajaye"[I just wanted to bring a smile on your face]

Khushi in Mandir teaching Geeta gayan to La who is learning how to trap Khushi to bring her back in RM.A phone call from Aman hmmm..interesting and he wants her to give message to Arnav. While she was figuring out how to tell him ,He comes in and Arnavji is ready to slip through her lipsbut DEAL is sealing that name for a while "What the" and a ghost appears in front of him.She delivers the message in Khushi style but his amusement behind fake anger is amazing.Both can't live without seeing each other regardless it's a "Quiet Staring" sometimes in which they have an Academy award andwhy do I see him so relaxed and full of zing.Even though they are not speaking but each others proximity brings inner peace on their faces which brings fake war among em to make us fool.Amazing part is she mentions all these numbers in her gestures 2,3,10,1 as...2=sexual tension ...3=success as well as masculine# ...10=refers to God,Divinity

Symbolism and connections:12 Symbolizes the command,and governs the space and time of cosmology.It also represents the spiritual food and Divine mother.It also represents oneness.

Connection is easy as it completes oneness so It is taking us towards when they both will talk to each other through cosmos[stars]Milk which is spiritual food is coming in the picture and so is the mother.

PONDERING CONNECTED DOTS: Arnav made Aman to call Khushi to deliver message for him during remarriage."Ab Deal Paki hai"[Deal is done now]

ArshiH ... Lovely connection ... I loved loved that scene ... As do I this one. I read Horizons response to your post ... I can see why she would be upset the first time around watching this scene ... For all the valid reasons she stated ... I think ... Khushi is back in the house ... They have a pact ... Not to talk ... But shakal toh dekh saktay hai na? I think subconsciously that was enough for her too ... And she does not think of herself as engaged ... Even Payal again had said to her after her engagement ... Tum vohi karna Jo tumhara Dil Chahay ga ... And I think ... Audience wants a few light hearted moments after the intensity we got at Diwali whether the story allows for it or not ... Anyway ... The point being ... I get what Horizon said ... But agree with you ... I loved the scene for its silliness ... And thought both looked spectacular ... Him with his raised eyebrows and her with her wide eyes ...

She writes the message and tells Hari Prakash to deliver but Fate delivered in the form of Geeta itself.Mysterious messages are always delivered through mysterious ways.As R.Tagore said Love is an endless mystery, for it has nothing else to explain it.Poor HP has been shut up but message has been delivered.

Dining table ,La ,Anjali and Naniji's attempt to create a scene so Khushi can come in RM as usually but Mamiji's is insisted on"Bye Bye Pahtti saree"...Too bad Mamiji Arnav's heart had already welcomed her with both arms holding her tightly...Sweet dreams...bye bye

One of my all time favorite episodes! In real life, I would probably just tell Hariprakash the phone message, and ask him to convey to the raakshas and avoid the whole confusion, but then I am not Khushi Kumari Gupta with a full- blown case of sanak! And this is so much more fun!😉

For the Arnav who glued Akash to the bed, the charades was the first invite from titaliya to come out and play! But we have to wait till ASR's vanvaas - oops, Gupta house visit, for him to accept, and the games to begin :-)
