viv, cynthia,
i love this. actually, on another thread i wrote about it... the bd thing, but in another context. had the editing and camera angles been good we wouldn't have even known there were bd's, mainly because of the acting of course. barun in the firefly shots... the two of them trying to reach each other through that mesh when she finds him, and of course in the hut. they are both just great actors. but i do believe their off screen friendship and months of working together without doubles created a trust and a sensitivity about each other which allowed them to react to the other even when the other was not around. that chemistry did help, so cynthia, it was always there (that's my feeling). and viv, i couldn't agree more about their first scenes when they were getting to know each other. some people are just good together... guess we can't explain beyond a point.
he was standing on a platform to make him look taller, she with head down seemed to be giggling, but they also seemed to be flowing toward each other, a tension between them pulling... my fevered imagination it might be, but that's how it feels.
here it looks like barun is ready for a shoyt, while madam is suppressing a laugh. yet the intesity of barun... just bursts through that still, eyes boring into the one he looks at... how did they manage this. a bd perhaps was easier to handle. 😆 sanaya mentioned the constant laughing and said they posssibly did it to keep things light, tackle the embarrassment... i can imagine what the direcor is calling for and in front of a room full of people, on a daily basis... must have been tough.
