And ur post was for DT and award system but the discussion which is happening here is more to do with why readers doesnot read new authors... I think there should be other post related to why readers read new writers.. and award issue should be separate... think clubbing both is creating confussion...

Ps... have no issues with the award system and I have nothing against anyone

I just said it because this topic had already a warning and I have to other memebers also. Have realy had a topic and there I have found out that people tell they are scared if new writers will leave the middle...like really many writer who are wellknown have done that so why think like that? but since you have nothing more to say okey, since I really dont want a fight. But, I am sorry on my part and hope no one felt bad and understand that I feel bad and have understood my mistakes.

I completely understand where this is coming from. I'd be disappointed as well, but I honestly think that the FF DT as well as the IPKKND DT is trying here to mend the bridge between the DT and the members.

Like Jot said on page 17, it's a good suggestion to have two different sets of awards (Popular and Critics) where the panel can be chosen and the whole shebang can take place.

And as for those who want this to close, it's not going to happen as long as the discussion is civil, which it is so far.


While we're at it, we'd like to hear any other suggestions that members might have in terms of improvising on these awards - popular and critics suggestion being one. I'd forward them onto the FF DT if they don't keep a check on this.

I have said it earlier and I'll say it again, leave a mention of any specific story or writer out because that's attacking the member.

that is what I was telling also...but thank you for your answer and I am glad that the DT are working. it is good to see. I will later put solution later when I will be home and see if members will like it and later post it on the thread where FF DT have told me

I remember in my school days there was a function youth festival every year...
in singing competition one boy used to get first prize every year back to back for 4-5 yrs after that he was not allowed to take part coz sir said if he takes part then for sure he will win so for the boy "not allowed to take part" was the best award and the other students also got chance... :)

and voting system should be banned coz then nt the deserving candidate can win..
