Episode-196

Amma calls at Payal's cell. She asks is everything alright? how is her MIL's demeanor to her. I wished if she would've asked about Khushi! Sigh, there is the difference between real daughter and adopted daughter. How big mistake she can do, but no mother can be so acrimonious to her daughter like that. Amma tells Payal that she remembers her a lot. Khushi's face glints to see her mom's call. She snatches the phone from Payal and starts to talk to her.

Amma, its Khushi... she tells her in constricted voice.

For a while Amma seemed happy to hear her, but she controls her feelings and hangs up the phone in anger.

Khushi starts to cry at her amma's asperity. Payal also cries with her. Arnav who was watching them from upstairs, seethes at her grief. Since their marriage night, he has been seeing Khushi's sufferings.

Mami intervenes them with her afflictive words,

Hello hi buy bye,

yeh ganga jamuna kahe baha rahe ho humari ghar ma

Itna yaad aarahi he apni maternity home ki, to zabardasti humari bohu banneke liye kaun kaha hai tumse

Why are you flowing rivers of tears in our home? If you are remembering your mother's home so much, then who told you to become my DIL forcefully?

Now I can't send you home easily.

She orders Payal to serve the food and takes Khushi with her

Arnav infuriates to see mami's disparagement to Khushi and payal. But he tries to keep his temper under reign.

Mami takes Khushi to the kitchen. She tells her that nobody will eat the food she cooked. Arnav is watching everything from a distance. Mami sees the burn mark on her hand. Rather showing sympathy, she accuses her for not working properly in the kitchen. Arnav swallows to thwart a rising wave of rage. Before mami leaves she admonishes her to show her face in the dining table. She thinks all will lose their appetite to see her face. Khushi's tears brim over and stream incessantly down her cheek. She feels derelict in that big house. Arnav dithers to see her pain, but he can't go to her to console.

Arnav comes back to his room. He is convulsing, thinking of Khushi's pain. How everybody is treating her acrimoniously, because of their marriage. He tries to feel for her, but the terrace scene invades his thought. He throws his waste coat in anger. He recalls what he said her on the wedding night,

Outside this room we will act like a happily married couple, but inside this room, you are nothing to me.

He remembers how he dragged her out from his room. He goes to the poolside, sits down on the lounge chair in embroilment. Their so many significant encounters reverberate in his mind.

He hugged her in the rain, he rescued her in the guest house! How passionately he extricated her from the fairy lights. Then how he compelled her to marry him. Shyam and Khushi's convo haunts him again.

There is only one obstruction between me and Khushi and that is rani saheba. I don't consider rani saheba as my wife.

If anjali means nothing to you then why aren't you leaving her?

He is doused with a avalanche of misery pure, cold, unforgiving, unrelenting. He covers his face with his hands with scorching pain. Closing his eyes, he tries to make a ditch effort to thwart, to strangle all those persistent memories.

Khushi looks languid and completely decadent when she gets in their room. Her eyes look for Arnav. She takes a comforter and a pillow and comes towards the pool area. Today she takes her sleeping stuffs with her, as she knows where is her place in Arnav's big mansion.

When Khushi was coming to the poolside, the water jug fells on the ground by the comforter, what she was holding. The shrill sound of the fallen metal brakes Arnav's trance. He exasperates and screams at her loudly,

What the! Why are you following me everywhere? Just go away from here. Just get out of here.

Khushi also knows how to retaliate him. Arnav inconsequential anger invigorates her. she throws the comforter on the table. All her pent up emotions spit out in an incoherent manner. She suddenly feels an anger slams on her heart like a thunderclap. She antagonizes him,

If it is troubling you so much, then, why did you marry me and brought me here. And your one mistake completely changed my life overnight. Today because of you my mother is not even ready to talk with me. She disconnected the call hearing my voice. The sister, whom I've grown up with, now can't even look at my face. Anjaliji, naniji, mamiji all are disgruntled on me because of you. So whatever I wish to do I'll do, if I wish to cry I'll cry, if I wish to scream I'll scream, but you can't stop me.

Arnav dithers to hear her accusation. Khushi tells him again,

You are happy, right? Whatever is happening with me you are enjoying it, right? Every relationship, by which I had survived, you must have been delectable to see them break, isn't it? You must be feeling content to see me getting orphan again, isn't it? What have you found seeing me in this condition? Tell me?

She starts to push him. But Arnav holds her hand and retorts her disdainfully

Yes I'm very happy. I'm very delighted to see you in so much pain. In fact I did all this, so that I can see you suffer so much. Did you hear that?

The pupils of her eyes dilate with pain and bewilderment. He grabs her arms strongly and tells her scathingly with gritted teeth

Do you want to know, why? Do you want to know, why I want to see your suffering? Kiyuki hum tumse nafrat karta hoo. Because I hate you.

After saying those poignant words, he releases her hand in tizzy. He can't look in her eyes any more. Khushi is flummoxed to hear this. Slowly her raw emotions rise from the dark recess of her heart like quivering flames of fire. She recriminates him,

Humbhi aapse nafrat karte hai, jitni aap karte hai, us se kahi zaada. Kiyuki, koi aapse pyaar kare, aap uske laeki nahi hai mr. raizada. nafrat karte hai naftrat. Kiyuki aap uske laek hai.

I also hate you, how much you hate me, far more than that. Because you don't deserve someone's love. I hate you, because that's all you deserve.

To hear this, his eyes become icy with steel in their flickering depth. She leaves him dumbfounded. A raising inferno tries to burn everything around him. To abate his anger, he throws away everything what is in his reach.

Pause: did she indirectly confess her love? She told him that she doesn't deserve anybody's love. That means she loved him and because of his misdemeanor she is telling him that he doesn't deserve love. Why shatir dimag Arnav didn't think about it? May be the impact of the terrace scene has imprinted in his heart and mind so deeply that he can't think logically any more.

what a performance! I must say Hollywood standard acting. One of my most favorite scene from IPK. The intensity, their vulnerability, their turbulence, anguish, pain all the emotions were executed by two brilliant actors with sheer excellence. As their romance is magical, their intense scenes are not less magical. Barun and Sanaya proved in the scene, how magnificent they are! I was completely spell bound to see their brilliant acting.

Khushi comes to the dark living room, looks forlorn and derelict. She goes towards the mandir to have a convo with her DM. she loses all control, her silent tears transforming into whimpers of pain and screams of anguish. To release all her pent up misery, she accuses DM with fusillade of questions,

Say something devi maiya. How can you be quiet like that. So many things happened with me and you just watched silently. Don't you have any answer of my questions? Do you know, this smile of your face taught me how to face every difficulty with smile. Your smile has made you an integral part of my life. My best friend, my confidence. I thought that you are always with me. As long as you are with me, nothing bad can happen with me. Then how did you let all those wrong happened? That demon had threatened me on the name of my jiji and my family and married me. I couldn't do anything. But you could do something, then how could you let it happen? You did wrong, really wrong. Leave it. I don't think I have anything to make you understand. I think I expected too much from you. That's it. I don't want to talk to you. Neither I want to cry. I'll not give up so easily. Do you understand?

She intends to leave but turns back again,

One more thing, don't think that as you are not responding me, so I'll be quiet. I'll find some other friend, with whom I can talk. Just watch.

The next day Anajli is getting prepared for the mooh dekhai rasam. She is arranging the living room for the guest's accommodation. Mami calls her to sit beside her. She gives her juice and tells her to take rest. She is thinking how people will react to see phatti saree, when they will come to bless Payal. They also have to make her blessed as well.

Pause: I'm glad that mami also thought of khushi. She just didn't tell anjali to ignore her.

Seeing khushi descending down from the stairs mami remarks,

E lo saitan ka naam liya aur saitan present maam bolat rahi hai.

When khushi comes in front of them, mami gets surprised to see her still in anjali's saree. She banters her that what happened to her boastful bua? Why she didn't send her clothes? What she will wear on the mooh dekhai rasam? Will they lock her in? If she is around then, she has to hide her face. Nani intervenes and tells her that whatever happens, but Raizada family will never hide the truth. Mami is grumbling, how they will justify the wedding that one is free with other? Nani refutes her that she doesn't have to be worry; she will take care of everything. Nani says in volition that both Payal and Khushi's mooh dekhai celebration will happen today. Anajli tells khushi to go to her room, as she is coming there with her clothes.

Anjali forgets to give her mom's Bangles to khushi. She is about to go, when she meets Arnav, who just came from his morning jogging. Anajli gives him the bangles and tells him to give it to Khushi right away. She wants her to wear it in the function. She tells him that if their mom was alive she also wanted this. Arnav takes it and nods to give it to Khushi.

I was dead seeing hin in casual, so couldn't resist myself to post this gif.😉

Payal is crying seeing the DM idol what khushi gave to her. When Akash comes to assuage her, she tells him that she can't stay disgruntle on her any more. Akash also assents her. But she is in quandary. She also can't absolve her for whatever she has done. akash tries to make her understand that,

Each coin has two sides. And you know Khushi since childhood. And if she has taken such step, then there should be some reason behind it.

Mami intervenes them and chides Payal not to get ready yet. When she sees her crying she again rebukes her, if she cries like this then she will have to attend the ceremony wearing goggles. Akash tries to retorts his mom, but he doesn't have that much of guts to do so. Mami again scolds Payal to get ready soon.

Akash said the most sensible thing. I wish if Akash would be like the supporting husband like this always! But it always pricks me that nobody came to know about khushi's sacrifice. No one knew the reason of Khushi's clandestine marriage? It was Arnav's duty to tell the reason to everybody, as he was responsible for this force marriage, But sigh he never did it and her character was stained forever.

Mami and Anjali come to Khushi's room to give her clothes and jewelry. When she sees Khushi's empty wrist she asks her, didn't Arnav give her the bangles. Khushi gets confused at her query. Anjali suspects that something is wrong. And unfortunately mami sees the bed on the poolside. She gets ambiguous, but doesn't ask her or tell anjali right then.

Since their marriage, anjali has been playing a pivotal role to unite arnav and Khushi. Before arnav's kidnapping she acted like a perfect mother figure of arnav.

All the guests start to arrive in RM for the mooh dekhai rasam.. When Anjali was climbing the stairs her head spins and she tilts. Arnav catches her right then. He chides her why she is working so hard, as she is pregnant. She needs to take rest. Anajli tells him that she is fine and can take care of herself. She was coming to talk to him. She asks him what he is hiding from her now?

Arnav gets stupefied at her query; what he will answer her. Both siblings stand still in perplexity.

I am dedicating this to my Blaster friends, BarunDiwani and Kate on their BIRTHDAYS. My lucky mascots!!🤗

I have been sick all day too so couldnt wish my friends. Anyways lappy was with my son for his project. Was thinking of wishing my friends later and asking maafi! Had tried once but everything disappeared !

To cheer myself up I went for a late evening walk to clear my head. I have spoken to him over the phone four to five times now. But he has been very busy and could not give me time to meet him. But he was always very nice and polite on the phone.

I don't know what came over me today. I decided to take a detour to his hotel (my house is very near the hotel) and leave some things(an Egyptian painting and boxes of chocolates) I had brought for him last year😆 at the reception. I was waiting for the lady at the reception to finish her talk on the phone when suddenly he emerged from the lift with another man and I was like "BARUN!!!" He said "Yes?"

I introduced myself and said I would like to click a pic with him. He said, "Okay, but I am sick!" Poor thing was going to the hospital. But like a stupid fool i said," I am sick too", happy to be in the same boat as him maybe. Sorry, that was weird of me. I was damn nervous, actually!

Then for the life of me I couldn't get the camera of my blackberry going. I was all thumbs. He said, "Okay let me do it !!" And guess who clicked this snap. He did!!!!! So goddamn sweet!!! I gave him the Egyptian painting I was planning to leave at reception. I forgot the chocolates.😭

I still cant believe it !!! I am feeling bad I did not have BD's pic with me and the Blasters banner. I could have never guessed i would MEET HIM!!! If God wishes maybe I will meet him again and get those things done.

Barun is sick. And by chance I am sick to. No he cured him! I am praying for his speedy recovery. Blasters please pray too!

Thanks Supriya. I was in two minds about writing a story in the romance genre or not. You know I can't write those intense romantic ones. But still I decided to give it a try. I still can't believe I got 4 votes in the romantic genre.
