Thanks for opening this pandora's box. It has got everyone into it, the chehel pahel is back. Yay! 😃 You may want to close the topic now, but I have been waiting all morning to put my two cents about it. So, please bear with me.
I have been reading everyone's comments and agree to most of them, especially Horizon. After learning about his Di's pregnancy, Arnav's main mission was to make Khushi unavailable to Shyam so that he goes back to his Di. He wants to put the picture back to normal so that his Di doesn't have to go through what his mother had to. The solution he came up with was to marry her, a decision which his subconscious mind made influenced by the state of his heart. But this he had to do asap, before Shyam could even get a hint about what he was up to.
Yes, he could have announced his decision to marry Khushi to all, but he didn't want to alert the so-called lovers and let them make alternative plans to escape from the situation. He very well knew how to blackmail Khushi into it. He also knew the marriage rituals were important to her. He waited till Payash marriage took place. My opinion, he observed that marriage to see what all was done. Then, he took Khushi to the temple where there was no one to stop him, and got married to her. (I still feel they even shot for the pheras then. Will explain why later) So mission accomplished. Shyam will have no other option but go back to Anjali.
Now during all this, he didn't think about certain things. ASR is used to announce his decisions to his family all the time and in due course they accept his decisions. So, though he may have thought that they may be upset initially, but soon they would accept. What he didn't know was that everytime he made a decision that was unacceptable to the family, it was Shyam, the respected son-in-law, who would pacify everyone, especially Nani, and help them understand Arnav's pov, thus bridging the gap between Arnav and Nani's varied thinkings. But now, the family lost that son-in-law, because now he was a selfish fretting alleged two-timer who leaves his wife to cry alone because now his own creepy plans have been squashed by the mighty ASR. So, now with no one to pacify them, the crying drama carries on longer than Arnav had expected.
Another thing that Arnav did not forsee at all was the treatment of Khushi by his and her family members. He wanted to punish her, yes. He wanted to bind her to himself, yes. He wanted to stop her from ruining his Di's life, yes. But, he never wanted her family to disown Khushi. He never wanted his family to treat her badly. He never wanted her to be mistreated by anyone. He never ill treated her in front of others.
Arnav made a hasty, miscalculated decision, the repercussion of which he hadn't thought of. Though it saved Khushi from the murky hands of Shyam, she had to suffer for long without even knowing the reason. Arnav didn't do much to stop her from revealing the truth to the family. Though, Khushi threatened to do so, she never really revealed. Why does love make one so helpless?

Brilliantly said Durga! Brilliantly said! I love the idea of Shyam the pacifier!

You are wedded to me, an immortal strand
I could swallow your tears and wallow in them
But I feel stabbed right through,
blood dripping to the hem
So let me unleash hate for it's known to heal
Your love for me thwarted, i can only appeal...

Look into my eyes and soar with me
Dance by the heavens once more with me
The handcuffs you bear are my hurt and pain
To be slave to you, be their motive main
Your silence i dread so would you do me this?
Hate me loud, Hate me hard so i can ache in bliss.

Issk kudiye!👍🏼 Aww! You seem to thrive on hate! 👏And seriously if it hadnt been for your hate I would have hated hate! But so far I am loving it! So ...

Drip, drip, drip red
The grief within you
Now that we are wed.
For I have promised
The stars above
To carry your pain,
All your hate
Till shall drain...

Only keep me alive
Barely so
With you to soar
Even to cry
For I fear I will die
In the hate you shed
Your velvety brown eyes
Now so red...

episode 186

for di

the episode made me think a lot... it was funny how things piled up on one another and a certain picture of the so called "truth" emerged which the viewer knew was not true at all, yet in the mental and emotional state asr was in he just couldn't sense the lie in it.

right through the rest of ipk, we all expected that at some point there'd be a huge reveal of shyam's lying... but that never happened. instead a feeling spoke its truth and the man said, i don't care, i believe in khushi... no matter what.

no doubt, in the beginning the writers had envisaged the usual revelation, otherwise they wouldn't have wasted time showing nk filming everything, especially shyam, at awkward telling moments.

but by dumping that route, i felt something more interesting got conveyed.. at least to me. this whole thing of what is "truth" and also how does an emotion sense truth.

long back in communications class we'd studied the famous japanese auteur akira kurosawa's "rashomon". the story was his take in a way on what is truth, is there an absolute truth, or does it always get coloured by the narrator's self interest, he/she a filter through which truth passes and gets altered.

i can't say i studied the film deeply, but that whole thing of four people narrating the facts visible according to their own needs and personalities was most interesting. kurosawa never did that easy thing of ending on a version that was supposedly the actual truth. it was left to us to surmise. even the one most likely to be truthful played a little mischief, but the ending had a sign of hope, which was kind of nice.

watching shyam creating a truth out of asr's misconception that khushi was part of the deception was really interesting. it was engineered cleverly... no loopholes really. by the end of the spinning of yarn, asr was completely convinced khushi loved shyam and was a threat to his sister.

perhaps in this perception of truth was his personal filter. the one of insecurity, of suspicion, sown at a tender age by a philandering father and the tragedy that brought. he was indeed too easy to convince. that worked for shyam.

later too, when khushi presented her version, i thought she was not being as honest as she should. she had the filter of mahanta... i didn't tell you about all these terrible things that shyam did, only to save your sister. really? was that a good enough reason, i thought... what would have come undone if you had told asr that his sister was married to a cheat? wasn't it only right to do so? and where was the astuteness or decency even in letting a loving honest woman remain married to a lout?

then therew as asr's "chhap gaya hai dimaag mein."

in the end the truth was whatever it was, but two people's love made its way through the minefield of deceit and found each other. only to say, it needs nothing else.

i wonder, if khushi actually been in love with shyam at some point, what would have happened to this story... ok ok, do not kill me, but i do wonder a lot about love and what it can or cannot do.

the other major thing from the episode that sticks in teh mind is the unreal response of khushi.

started in 185, this strange response to a lascivious, clearly out of line, abhorrent lech who has dared to touch her.

her first "chhoriye humey," so calm... post that and pre that ;lots of talk about all sorts of things, why? shouldn't she have started running away from the terrace much earlier? i would. and what she said after many things... tehfact that had he been unmarried also she wouldn't have given a damn... shouldn't that have been said before?

why all that about, the man who couldn't love a devi like anjali ji, how would he love someone.

one good thing, she finally realised, anjali needed to be told...again, no pondering the issue, no understanding that keeping quiet the first time was not correct.

and after all that, she doesn't feel the need to rush to a place of comfort... amma or asr. instead she is walking around looking lost, being "good" and hiding her troubles with jiji...

only thinks of asr when payal mentions kash and needing him. even then, no frantic urgency.

she has just been embraced and harrassed by a creep. he has said unspeakable things to her. he even hinted he wouldn't want to hurt her twice (she never asked what was the first time). yet she is just a little perturbed, not going bananas.

i know how i'd react if that happened.

the problem is i guess khushi was written by a man/bunch of men, who never quite understood women... certainly not khushi. and khushi was never conceived as a character on her own... always vis a vis asr. she was manipulated at will to reveal asr's inner self... rarely was she given equal status. she served a purpose. that's all.

story of our lives in a world that is intrinsically patriarchal. a really interesting woman cannot be conceived, created and nurtured here.

of course, the acting by barun was superb once again.

main dekh chuka hoon... main sun chuka hoon. a shattered, man, trying to bring order back. then the devil goes into his terrible dance... khushi ji hamari... whatever.

a few things from the episode.

khushi's voice rises seemingly exhorting shyam to leave anjali, a terrible echo magnifies the sound.

asr is breaking.

he turns and walks away.

so he doesn't hear the truth. he walks away, every shot getting imprinted in his mind. "chhap gaya hai dimag main," happened around here somewhere.

The moment is stamped and the words are just haunting him now.

he sees the maniacal shyam grabbing onto her. he's imploring, "hum sirf aapko chahte hain, khushi ji. hum raani sahiba ko apni patni nahn mante... humara yakin kijiye, khushi ji, hum sirf aapse pyaar karte hain aur bahut sara pyar karte hain!"

i only want you, khushi ji. i don't consider raani sahiba my wife... believe me, khushi ji, i love only you and i love you a lot.

and khushi is saying those damning words...

his world is turning upside down, he is on autopilot, complete crisis time, he needs something to make him think... feel.

poignantly, he traces the same path back, the one he'd taken with so much hope.

on the terrace, shyam is nonplussed. shyam thinks she means leave anjali... i'll marry you. he actually grabs her chheks again, khsuhi doesn't move, she just looks at him horrified...

then comes... now i know what a terrible man you are, aap kitne gire hue insaan hain. now? i am thinking? so you didn't know this when he got engaged to you while being married to anjali, when he lied for months and hoodwinked your entire clan?

That's what I am crying for over these epis..

finally she says what she might have said earlier if life and rather whimsical, opportunistic writers hadn't decided to play this game.

"aap shadi shuda rahe ya na rahe, hum aapke zindagi ka hissa kabhi nahin ban sakte..." whether you are married or not, i can't be part of your life.

and then her angry retort, "aap kya shadi todenge, aap kya anjali ji ko chhorenge, hum toh kehete hain unke sukhke liye unko aapko chhorna chahiye."

you'll break the marriage, leave anjali ji? i say, she for her happiness, she should leave you.

perhaps a little too late khushi understands the simple undeniable fact. anjali would be better off without this sick man. alas... too late. what's done cannot indeed be undone.
Now I think they did it to move the story but very poorly...as this is stamping in my head Yes you can feel it I am angry but trying to be in sane ,how come these things were slipping away and they didn't even realize it or I think didn't care about it.
at long last, the words which in a better written screenplay would have come soon after the laying of filthy hands on her, "mat chhuhiye hume, aur na bhi kabhi jurrat bhi kijiyega."😡

don't touch me, and don't you ever dare again.

payal is looking at gifts, khushi walks in disturbed, remembering shyam saying ever since they met in lucknow he's been obsessed with her.

she is in a state but payal is clueless... then khushi forgets her troubles for payal... i wonder how this is even possible. and it is only when payal mentions akash and says that once she sees him she'll feel better, that khushi realises that's what she must do... meet arnav ji. her reactions are a bit off key.

but asr's reactions are beautifully crafted, well understood and brilliantly enacted. he is alone in his room wondering what to do, breaking to bits. he recalls the many times he's trusted his sister's husband, and shyam has shown overt love for his wife.

That is the key factor ,his character is fully crafted with all the nitty small details...I guess that's what they wanted but still Khushi is the reason of this change in him every moment..but as you said Men our society never cares or even bother considering us as humans...with feelings and need...just usable stuff we are

for asr shyam was a father figure almost, a place of trust. smashed to smithereens once more...

he remembers his di doing arti of shyam. shyam carrying di... the images keep flashing. di introduces "iss duniya ke sabse achhe pati" to khushi. he's giving them matching watches, and the loving words around these moments.

and he flings his tie, takes off his jacket... as if he's suffocating.. anger pain hurt all melding and screaming.
he is reaching for his familiar friend. gussa. without it coping is impossible.

he sits on his bed and the dreadful picture of shyam holding khushi, speaking of his desire... her shrieking, "chhor dijiye anjali ji ko..." a close up, a new rage rising... tears in his eyes. what a nameless glut of emotions.

he says "di, i'm so sorry, mujhe maaf kar dijiye par yeh baat main aapse chhupa nahin sakta... chahe aap ko kitni bhi thes kyun na pahuchen... mujhe aap ko batana hi hoga..."

forgive me, di... i can't hide this from you, i must tell you, even if it hurts you terribly.

character... i think. the guptas played the game of the weak with that lethal information re shyam. they hid the truth.

yet a young boy whom life had left for weak, vanquished, but who showed "himmat" and got up and fought back, claiming his place back, who chose to be strong, no matter how broken his insides... he grew up to be a man that acted from the position of the strong... no need to hide anything and not tell di. he knows it will hurt her immeasurably... but he will do it.

something to learn in that.

He will tell his Di justlike Khushi ,I have to tell Anjaliji but both are same in this matter the only difference is if she had told him before this wouldn't happen and now he will hide it and bigger consequences will be here...

straight forward... no game... no excessive to and froing about the good and bad of a thing... his instinct says she must know.

in the meantime, shyam knows he has failed and raani sahiba is in his arms again. while khushi is running around looking for arnav ji, a certain sense of urgency just not there.

"di!" he's changed for the wedding. i see his clothes and my heart contracts... we are here... the bride groom from mount vesuvius, mount etna, mount pinatubo and all other volcanoes combined is here.

"kahiye, saale saab, hum toh bas..." shyam is all sweet smiles but again i notice the meaninglessness of his words. why this lack of care in dialogues?

but no need to waste time on that, someone keeps pulling me in with his magnetic performance. a fist is clenched, a music starts... asr is back... the tears are not for public consumption.
Only Khushi and Di can see those...tears ...He is ready to face this and to crush this demon no matter what...how he didn't decide yet that what this filthy piece of animal will put him too and he has to be harsh on Khushi but as you said earlier we hurt the ones we love the most

then comes the ominous walk down... the meeting.

"mujhe aapse kuch baat karni hai..." i need to talk to you, animosity in every pore.

he bursts in
to a room, shyam behind.

what's up, saaley sahib, you look upset... shyam is trying to be normal. oh abhas, why this aimless pitching?

"main janta hoon..." the cool in the voice. i know, says asr... the one who doesn't really know.

shyam thinks it's about the engine, the tampering with di's car.😡I wish he knew that

"aisa bhi kya jaante hain, saale saab," what's it that you know, bro in law. and he rushes to the mirror. both in the reflection now. a funny parallel world.

"mein dekh chuka hoon," i have seen.

then what hurts him badly to say, "khushi ke saath dekh chuka hoon," seen you with khushi.

shyam is stunned... searches for the right response, sliminess magnifies.

he reiterates, i've seen you on the terrace with khushi.

shyam has the temerity to suggest this might be a misunderstanding.

ah, misunderstanding. our one and only mu, come let me seranade thee. somehow i hated hearing the word from him... of course a nice irony there.
The longest one ever

"mujhe koi galat faimi nahin hui hai..." i have not misunderstood, says asr.

his face is set so differently... stone like.

"main apni aankhon se dekh chuka hoon aur apni kaano se sun chuka hoon.. so don't even try. safai dene ki koshish bhi mat karna..."

i've seen it with my own eyes, and heard with my own ears... so don't even try... don't try to explain...

he hurls the words, his arm swings out, finger aggressively pointed at the enemy. of course, at this point indi dies..😆. just look at him.

with that the entire scene takes a turn and shyam goes into mode rumplestiltskin. in that now nasty now nice vein devised freshly by the directors. frankly, it was silly and rather tiresome...

wish they'd thought more clearly, not wasted some of the finest scenes.

Oh you think I am raging, every angle , every shot is not up to the mark...if you see the sangeet and here ...huge difference ,I am not saying Sangeet is the best yet way better than this one

especially since asr was at peak interpretation. how could you do this to my sister...who thought you greater than god... you cheated on her.

shyam smiled... he could sense asr's weakness... di!

"i am not gonna spare you, jo ki hai uski keemat chukani padegi... itni asani se jane nahin doonga... na aapko... aur naa hi uss khushi kumari gupta ko..." i am not gonna spare you, you'll pay for what you've done... not letting you escape so easily... not you... not that khushi kumari gupta.

the madness has begun...

shyam guesses khushi's reality is hidden... and starts the talk of hamare aur khushi ji ke pyaar... bataiye apni ji ji ko...his and khushi's "love", challenges asr to go tell his di... for a moment it looks like asr won't.

what you and khushi have got together and done to us... he is seething with hurt, revulsion, anger, protectiveness toward di, so much.

"aap ne aur khushi ne milkar jo hamare saath dhoka kiya..."

shyam asks him to respect the feeling he has for khushi.

at shyam's heinous "khushi ji hamari zidagi ban chuki hai," khushi has become my life, the eyes close... the heart cannot bear it.

there's only one thing between him and khushi, screams shyam, and on a devilish grin, he utters, "raani sahiba!"

Game plan changes here...

all of it is like the rings of chakravyuh, a coiled snakelike thing, falling fast and smooth and trapping the honourable warrior. he who has entered the formation but has no idea how to get out.

with that last echoing word (episode started on an echo that would lead to hell and closed on one which shut the door, the quarry was in), the darkest and direst moment of the night began to take clear and present shape.
Indeed it was the phase of transformation from Arnav to ASR but it's not same as he is willing to have control of everything and he will at his terms to save the most impt ppl of his life but one has to pay the price what she did hiding the truth...Arnav is merging with ASR to save his Di and Khushi no matter what ...Look at him here he can't stand her name on this filthy lips and he will be grabbing his neck to warn him for that but right now it's starting here.

for khushi

Indi 👏⭐️

just too good, Love the way you started it and am so glad you are feeling the same the way I am as since Fri I am just watching this to make sense as I finished earlier 186 and all the way to 188 .I always go back and forth because earlier ones have always answers for me.

Khushi is ruined yet the way they have shot these scenes ,make n sense for me either.

Loved the underlined and I used blue for comments...

Thank You😊

fabulous, faiqa... 👏 👏 👏

he was miserable to her over diwali... now he is in this terrible mess... love does so hurt.

yes indeed fate in the form of that pregnancy ties the hands of the mighty asr. he is writing in agony... no answer in sight.

shyam takes every opportunity to goad him.

funny you say magma, lava... i just finished 186 where i compared him to all the volcanoes in the world... what a state the man is in. yes, barun just took asr to another level altogether. if he hadn't there was no way we'd forgive let alone go nuts over that temple marriage. shown in teh minimum amount of shots. such economy and mastery of film talk.

under the stars... you feel maa was there? maybe. oh how he suffered as all his life flashed before him then the array of khushi and more khushi...

i am yet to see... your take made me kinds "see" it any way.

wonderful... i hope you are feeling a bit better now.

Indi I am feeling better now as I am seeing it with different angle but that "Tishnagi" that thirst is urging me over and over to find the answers and clues ,that's all...

At this point you know me very well how I take things and do work ...imagine me in real life work and home...This stupid nature of me sometimes kills me...as I go All the way ,never leave things...

Seriously ,some nature ...haan...

I know we are seeing things alike because after nearly 200 epis we are observing things in their perspectives...may be not all of us and I can totally understand as experience of life and other factors also get involved in your thinking .Life is a cruel Teacher...but majority of us has a very similar POV about things but saying it differently is bringing astute fun here.

Thnx

Episode-193

After a tumultuous day, a new morning has arrived in Raizada house, heralding the tension of a new phase of their life. Anjali incepts the day with her morning prayer. But instead of smiling there is gloominess suffuses her visage . The rest of the family joins her. When she was keeping the pooja thali, the diya was about to blown out, but the two new diyas of their house Khushi and Payal simultaneously shield the light with their hands. It sure reprimands, the two DIL of Raizada house will protect the family in all situation. Mami also joins them, but as usual with her bad mouth. Her pungent words are spurting out to humiliate khushi. devil shyam also joins them, who is contemplating Khushi keenly.😡

Always

After the pooja, Payal wishes to distribute Prasad to all. Khushi's face glints in expectation that her jiji will give her the Prasad first. But when she turns around from her, she becomes sad. She comes to her at last after giving Prasad to everybody. Khushi lifts her hands to take the Prasad. When Payal still doesn't give her the Prasad, Mami taunts her that ,the duty of the younger DIL is to distribute Prasad, but what is the duty of the elder DIL? She asks Payal what she is trying to prove by not giving her the Prasad. She suggests her to show some mercy by giving her the Prasad as she is the older Dil of the family. She complains, why everybody is behaving so normal as if nothing has happened. Akash sees that his mother is getting over the board. To aberate her he asks Anjali about naniji and NK, who were not shown in the prayer. Anjali tells him that NK went to the visa office and mama tells that nani is with Laxmi. As soon as he uttered Laxmi, they all turn to hear Laxmi's voice. HP is carrying Laxmi in his arm. So Laxmi was not with nani and she even didn't come for the pooja. All gets worried for nani, why she is still in her room? They all rush towards her room. Khushi also follows them. But Shyam calls her to talk.. when Khushi shows her reticence, he comes on her way to ask her why she married arnav?

How cum you didn't think about me while doing this.

Humari pyaar ko, humari bhishwas ko ek jhatke nakar dia apne. In an instant, you denied my love, my trust You got married to someone else?

Pause: What this moron is saying? His morbid thought disgusted me.Why khushi will think of him? how he forgot he is Anjali's husband and khushi already told him loud and clear that she would've never ever thought to marry him whether he is married or not. There is no limit of his impudence.😡

I 'm telling you I can't stand his face any more but what can I do my love for him wants to drag him ...but never let him die...😡

Shyam can't continue as they anticipate somebody at the door. It's Arnav who came with a despondent state of mind. Seeing him, Khushi scurries fast to upstairs. thank God that Arnav didn't see Khushi talking with shyam. If he would, he would've definitely misunderstood her even more. But why khushi ran to see arnav? She didn't know that Arnav knows about Shyam and her connection. Arnav looks at Shyam with darting eyes When he hears the panic voice of Anjali, he runs upstairs. He sees everybody is gathered in front of nani's room, knocking on the closed door. Mami accuses Payal and Khushi for all this. Arnav asks Anjali, what's happened. Anjali tells him that nani is not shown since morning. Arnav pushes the door vehemently to open it. When the door gets opened, they find emaciated looking nani lying on the bed inertly.

They make nani sit on the bed. Anajli asks through her constricted throat, why she didn't come to the prayer? She sees that nani got high fever. She tells Akash and mama to take a look. She asks Shyam to talk to her. Shyam forbids her to get tensed as it's not right to get emotional in this stage. Arnav glares at him angrily to hear his shenanigan.

Khushi gets water for nani. But Payal doesn't let her go in front of her. She looks at her with a pique and takes the glass from her hand. Arnav wishes to call the doctor, but Anjali admonishes him. She tells Akash to call the doctor instead. Khushi's heart lurches painfully to hear this. In spite of so much differences and resentment , she can't see anybody misunderstands her Arnavji, where she knows very well how much he loves his family. Anjali says in stern voice,

She is in with him as she knows there is something behind all of this , she is just angry because he is not telling her the reason for all of this.

Just don't trouble chotey.

She accuses Arnav for all this. She starts again,

Just you thought to get married and came in front of the family. There should be a reason of everything. Neither you nor khushiji told me the reason of taking such big step. And how? You don't have any idea how much you have hurt us. chotey I always overlooked your anger. I have given excuses of your every insistence. And you just made me an outsider. Didn't you think of my emotions at all? And look at nani's condition! What she has done to herself by crying whole night! You two have broken our hearts.

Nani says with frstration, since today she thought chotey, but last night he proved that he is the son of his father.

All are dumbfounded to hear this. Arnav's heart convulses in acute pain. But he doesn't retort back, just looks at them ruefully. The devil Shyam looks at him quizzically, what embitters him. And anjali forbids him not to talk even. Nani tells everybody to leave her alone. But khushi comes forward to talk to her. nani tells her grimly

He can't bear all of this as he is not like his father , he hates him so badly and can't forgive him easily.

What will you say now? You and chotey have done whatever you wanted to do. Now go away from here. I don't want to speak to you.

I do feel bad for Khushi here regardless she has to pay the price for her actions.

In her room Anjali gets her mom's letter from the antique jewelry box . She is crying and expressing her frustration to her mom in her soliloquy..

She is complaining her mother as if arnav has done a serious crime by getting married without letting her know. I wish if she would've known the reason of his clandestine marriage! She would know how much her brother loves her and can't ever dream to hurt her.

Arnav comes to her room and says in painstakingly patient voice,.

Di, how long this drama will continue?

Anjali gets flummoxed to hear this.

What? Drama? How dare you talk like this after what is happening?

Di I'm just telling you, that it will be better as soon as you accept this fact.

Anjali refutes him in volition,

Do you have even care for the good or the bad for our family? After doing this, how can you expect that I'll forget everything and forgive you?

When he sees that it's futile to make her understand, Arnav turns to leave. But Anjali retains him by holding his hand.

No chotey the topic is not going to end by turning back. Your mistake is unforgivable.

Arnav admits his mistake. He says that they have to accept that he wedded khushi and it will not change the fact, whether they accept it or not.

Anjali is implacable, she says,

Without letting anybody know, without taking permission of anybody, you just got married to khushi! Not just the tradition, you insulted our family's dignity. You don't have any idea, how much you hurt me.

Enough di.

Her nuance can't appease him, moreover her accusation acerbates him even more.

I don't want to talk about it any more. If all of you can't accept this relation, then

Anjali asks her then what?

Then I and Khushi will leave the house.

That proves how much he cares for Khushi...he will never leave her alone no matter what.

Arnav leaves the room instantly after letting her know his wish. Anjali's heart cringes to hear his brother's scornful words. She sits down in anguish, clasping her mom's bangles to her heart.

Pause: I would be very happy if Arnav would've left the house with khushi. They would be able to escape from their nosy family. And Khushi would be protected from Shyam's lascivious look and lust. Their love would've bloomed automatically after leaving together. After all, deep down inside, their enormous love for each other was still there inside the dark crevice of their hearts.

I don't think Khushi would be safe as here Shyam couldn't be able to do anything except some minor incidents...as Arnav comes back and forth from the ofice .Remember he always wants Arnav to leave Khushi home not in office when he loses his voice and her Dabba service made it possible for her to be in front of him in the office other wise he would never agreed to it.That was another thing...

In nani's room, Payal amd mami are taking care of nani. Khushi also enters there with a plate full of fruits. she tries to apologize. She tells her that, she never intended to hurt them, she even didn't know. But she refrains herself to say further. She requests nani,

Plz don't take out your anger for me on your health.

She gives her the fruits to eat.

Nani looks at her angrily and rebukes her not to get worried for her,

Just take a leave.

Pause: Khushi again hid Arnav's guilt to the family. She easily could tell nani about the forced marriage. But she didn't, cause she can't let her Arnavji down to anybody. That is the glory of her love. So as Arnav's love for her

SHe is angel and very forgiven

Khushi puts down the plate. But nani admonishes her to leave the plate. She refuses to eat the food, what she got for her. While Khushi was leaving the room, she meets anjali who also looks at her with despise. Anjali starts to talk to nani about Arnav. But nani thinks she is asking for her forgiveness. So she tells her tersely that she is not ready to forgive him. Anjali says her that she didn't come to ask forgiveness for chotey. Whatever Arnav and Khushi have done, they will not be able to forgive them ever in their life. But she tries to make her understand that in spite of their anger they have to think for the sake of the family, as he is a part. But nani is impervious. She thinks he crossed the dignity of their family. If their mom was alive today, she would've said this also. Anjali gets emotional thinking about her mom. She gives nani her mom's jewelry box. Nani cares the box lovingly, but she is obstinate at the same time, she will not get weak so easily. She will not accept chotey's faux pass this time. Anjali also assents her, she will not forgive him either.
