akalbodhan... she was invoked at a time which was outside her regular sched to visit earth. she is actually a spring goddess, basanti, i think. but when ram felt the need for shakti to slay his demon, ravan, he prayed to her for help. and she came. so, if you ask the divine with true heart to come to help you, the divine does... even if it is not the season to appear. so much there. the importance of a human's action... you don't just sit around saying things will happen, you actively seek.

and god will come to me the mortal if i call with my heart and if my battle is righteous. even.if.it. means.breaking.the.divine.timetable.

the other thing was... ravan was the priest who invoked durga... so ram could have her blessings and kill him.

the subtlety and depth and invitation to ponder in ths tale of ramayan... now what to say.

i am not well read at all in the mantras and shlokas. i was thrilled to read those words with music and resonance. thanks, ladkiyan.

and thanks to you guys i am celebrating the pujos right here. maybe will don new sarees every day of those classic four... shashti to bijoya dashami, and sit here and chat. oh the ten armed one, how she comes to mind this time of year.

It was beautiful terrace garden area, floor full of red roses , fenced with fragmenting candles. And in middle a small down bed with sheds of long strips of swinging and rhyming strings.

i mean like strings i can add rose petal i can candles too
